I have this issue as well, however, I noticed that if you let Chrome load the page fully and you then try to scroll only 1 or 2 lines at a time, it works without any issues

That's true, it's not ideal, however, it works And plus, Chrome is still in Beta so this might get fixed when they release the final version.
It will be it's listed as a known issue.

Anyone who is right handed has probably noticed the INCREDIBLY ANNOYING zoom bug you experience when writing in Snote after reaching the bottom of the page.
For some reason palm rejection goes haywire in the bottom right 1/3 of the screen if you rest your hand while writing. Everytime you put your hand down to write the screen zooms. Turning on and off pen only recognition makes no difference.
Have no idea how to fix this and am open to suggestions. Hopefully Samsung will address this in their next OTA.

Lock to s pen only at top right corner. Not much else we can do before a new firmware update. I hopefully it's jellybean

Yeah its a bug. Locking the pen has no effect. I'll go to Samsungs Facebook page and post about it. We just have to wait on new OTA.

Oh good its not just me. I didn't remember this being a problem before or after the update but then it just happened. Really upset me to say the least.

lol, ok I'm a little slow today. The thing is it just started doing this a couple days ago and I've had the phone for 2months. Other than being pron to doing this, would a factory reset do any good or am I wasting my time.
What do you mean by cutting out? Is it just refreshing the screen when you come back to it? I think that is something browsers dependant.

No it is actually shutting off and going back to my home screen. It mostly does it when I'm trying to tap on a link and it just shuts off like I hit the home button.

That's odd. Stock browser never did that to me.

Ok, I have had 3 HTC smart phones and never had this happen to me either until a few days ago. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. I'm looking for something other than stock browsers are "pron" to this or "That's odd. Stock browser never did that to me" The 2 previous phones I rooted, ran different roms, flashed radios and kernels' so give me a break and give me something useful. This one is not rooted 2.2 version and un-rootable at this point. The only reason I'm hesitant at a factory reset is having to set everything and re download all the apps I have. Sure wish this was rooted, I would have Titanium Back Up and not have to worry about re downloading all these darn apps.
Didn't mean for my comment to sound sarcastic. I was trying to experess that I didn't know the solution to your problem.
Try going to menu then settings then privacy and security and clear your cache and history. It could be a corrupted file in your cache.

Thank you I did that. Gonna play a little and will let you know if it works.
It cleared up the links problem but, when I try watching a video (yes, I have Adobe Flash Player. thank you XDA ) it starts loading and then just goes back to my HTC home screen.

Similar Issue
I'm having a similar problem and really hope someone can help out. About a week ago my stock browser and ICS Browser + both started force closing on me at an alarming rate. I tried replicating the issue and found out that's its tied to javascript. The webpages that give me issue load just fine if I disable javascript but I don't see why I should have to when I've never had to before. In fact the sites that are causing crashes used to work fine until very recently. I'm on CleanRom V, but I've verified the issue with CleanRom 4.5 Final and AOKP Jellybean build 1.4. I've been using Dolphin Browser to get around the issue but I don't want to have to use it. Forgot to mention that I've also cleared my browser's data several times to no effect.

Come on guy I need help not jokes from 1998.
Is there fix for GPS/google maps to show you facing the right direction? When in compass/normal mode I turn to the left and it shows me going right, I'm facing one way its facing the other and vice versa..it's really irritating.. and it places me a block from where I actually am so I can't really get directions with Google maps..

Just tried the compass appfrom play store, its almost 90 degrees off....odd....maybe this could be why? (http://www.foxnews.com/science/2013/01/14/perfect-solar-storm-sun-activity-to-peak-in-2013/) I seen something like this on the news a couple weeks back....
Edit after a little more research , where in a geomagnetic storm as of now (http://www.n3kl.org/sun/noaa.html)

I haven't been on a stock ROM since a week after i got this phone lol so I wouldn't know the behavior comparison. If someone could shed some light on this issue because just like you guys I'm having the same problem.

Yea I'm having the same issue. On google maps our phones are as much as 90 degrees off at some points and as little as 10 or so minimum off. Using "compass" from the google market they show about 20 degrees off when stacked on top of each other. One is running stock ICS and the other is running CM10 12/8 nightly with Blue Lightning kernel.

Nothing special just the first one I seen in the market. Seems to be pretty close to google maps when standing still for me on stock and CM10 so I used it as a reference.
Seriously... -_-
My phone is sitting on my desk..facing 90 degrees clockwise..and the locator keeps moving in the street or across the street..facing to 90 degrees to the left..makes no sense..

Has anyone tried the a-gps fix in the dev section? I remember it decreased my lock on time down to like 2-4 seconds but I dont know if it actually will fix direction or anything. I'll try and flash again when my other phone gets home.

Sure thing, I remember the lock on time was insane with it. I hate using the stock ROM but I need wifi calling at work I never thought I would be using stock while my gf is rolling CM thats for sure.

Hey all,
I've noticed that while using Chrome the screen sometimes flickers when moving around the web page or changing tabs. Also, sometimes when I load up Chrome, the screen is black until I touch the screen, even with tabs already loaded.
Anyone notice this or have any advice? Thanks in advance!
Yeah mine does the same. Something to do with chrome. Happens when bringing up tabbed browsing its rather annoying but not that detrimental sure it will get a fix. Chrome has its niggles

It must be Chrome problem.

Same problem for me, only since the latest Chrome for Android update. Rotating the phone or zooming in and out fixes it temporarily.

Actually earlier it only used to happen in beta but now it has started for the stable version also after the updates, I have send them feedback almost 3 times after the update but there is no reponse and still occurs.
zooming in and out sometimes solves it.

Yes, I understood the thread - thanks. The fact it existed as a bug in beta for so long doesn't surprise me that it made it to stable.
