You'll have to boot into fastboot and issue the command :
fastboot getvar all
Hide your IMEI and device id and post the result here. The CID info will help me in locating where your phone is from.
Cheers.

Use the search function. You have to show some onus on your part to solve this problem man. I just used search and the answers are all there. Plus, research is likely to improve your knowledge too, as opposed to spoon feeding. Use the XDA search function, and read through the forums and tutorials. It's all there, waiting for you to put in some effort. Have you even looked at the links in my signature?
Cheers

cidnum: HTC__001 corresponds to HTC_WWE and is not tied to any specific region or carrier. You can flash any non-branded RUU with HTC_WWE in the name and you should be fine. For example the HTC_Asia_WWE RUU should be safe for you.
This is to the best om my knowledge, but i may be wrong. Please corroborate with other sources too to confirm this before you attempt an RUU flash without a goldcard. With a goldcard however, this should no longer be a problem, as long as you match your misc_version well
Cheers.

how can i make gold card without going to rom?
Odd, your cidnum is HTC__J15, the only RUU that has that number is
RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.0805U_38.03.02.11_M_release_177977_signed
And since your misc-version is 1.27.405.6 that RUU should flash.
I checked
RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.47.401.4_Radio_20.28I.30.085AU_3805.06.02.03_M_release_199410_signed

And they don't have that cidnum.

yes yes yes yes. it worked. U R nice man.
just how could i khnow the cid code of e rom?
and can i change my cid ofter s-off and reinstall other ruu?
When you extract the rom.zip (run RUU and go to the temp folder for rom.zip) inside the android-info.txt file.
Yes you can change your cid once you have s-offed and then install the RUU of choice (thats if you like being s-on and stock.
However you better make a goldcard just incase and if I were you i'd s-off and flash sense 3 roms if thats what you want.
Same Problem
Hey,
I have same problem and i have not fixed yet.
Here is some solution about making goldcard, maybe it can help.
And this is my subject follow it maybe somebody help me first..
good luck.
Why not use custom roms or at least pre rooted stock roms?!

Stuck in HBOOT, no flashing possible (S-ON)

Hello Sagas ,
I got a problem with a Desire S: It only boots up to the HTC-Logo. If I'm right because of the output of fastboot getvar all the mistake was to flash RUU_Saga_S_HTC_Europe_2.10.401.9_Radio_20.4801.30.0822U_3822.10.... (I think it was this RUU because this is the only one with the exact main version) to this device because it hast a T-Mobile (DE) Branding.
The Bootloader shows up with
Code:

Then I tried to put the zip as PG88IMG.zip on sdcard.
Result in Bootloader: MAIN VERSION IS OLDER
Any tips for me?
Sorry if you get a little excited after seeing a reply in this thread but I would remove your serial number and IMEI from your first post as everyone can see this and I don't think you want some people to know it
I always thought it was a security risk but if it isn't then someone let me know

I'm really helpless, because not even someone tells me that the device is broken. Am I right with the idea that a RUU with the mentioned main version from T-Mobile (DE) can fix my problem?

Em there is a good user with the same phone and I believe he said he got JB so with a bit of luck he see this and tell what RUU you need but while you waiting the RUU needs to be 2.38 or higher and match your CID.

HTC ONE S - S4 - S-ON - RUU help

Hi, I need some help going back to stock rom on my htc one s (s4).
I've read some places that I need an Ruu same as my version, this is my info.
Version main: 3.16.110.4
Tampered
Unlocked
VLE PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBOOT - 2.13.0000
RADIO - 1.11.50.05.28
OpenDSP -v31.1.0.45.0815
eMMC-boot
I tried the instructions on androidforums dot com, can't post the link here cus it's one of my first posts, but I typed in google "HTC one s ruu" and it was the first link.
But at the end it said something like "Can't flash this image, find the correct image" or something along those lines.
I used this ruu at the time because it was the only similar one (although not exact) to my phone.
RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4.exe
and yes I did lock my bootloader before running the ruu, but I unlocked it again just for use until I can find a working solution to going back to stock rom. (Btw i'm S-ON!)
Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated!
Do you know your CID? You can get this info in bootloader mode and use this command:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
Please post all data except your IMEI number.
The RUU you used should work for almost any European countries as long as it's an non-carrier specific phone.

Thanks for your reply Yeh my CID is:
(bootloader) version: 0.5

(bootloader) version-baseband: 1.11.50.05.28
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None
(bootloader) version-main: 3.16.110.4
(bootloader) version-misc: PVT SHIP S-ON

I guess you can't use this RUU for this phone. Try to find one for T-Mobile UK as it seems to be what your CID is telling.
