Hi, I have a o2 Steller/Stella coming through on wednesday...
May sound like a silly question but can I just use the official HTC firmware and flash it onto my device? will there be any problems?

But i would like to find a easy method for only rooting my tf300.
something like a simple script maybe?
I don't know exactly which version i have, i included a screenshot of my system.
I think this is Jelly Bean ota.

Indeed it's JB by OTA.
And my answer at your question is : have you search and read before some posts that you will find in this specific forum ?
I'm not sure of that
It's easy to post one question without search

On first go in my index : [INDEX][27th SEPT 12] INDEX of ROMS/RECOVERY/ROOT/GUIDES/FIRMWARE/KERNEL/VIDEOS/etc..
Read and search a little
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
and you will find that if you haven't rooted your tf300 before the JB update, you cannot rooted actually your device in JB :crying:
So you must wait a process for rooting your tf300 on JB

yeah sorry man, is just that all these version numbers are quite confusing for me.

Hi. I´m new in here. I have a HTC Desire S with rom PAC-man v22.0.1 and the camera in this rom is poor. For it, i post in here and want to ask you all if you don´t know how can i install HTC amaze camera. I tryied install with recovery and then with root explover, but not working for my rom. So can somebody help me with this??? thanks

What radio are you on & hboot version, also which recovery? This should be asked in the Q&A section not here.

Hi, I recently received a HTC Panache and the latest android update was 2.3.3. I want to root it but the instruction I saw were too complicated and I would really like it if someone could give me some simple instructions please

Ok, this seems to be a working guide how to root your device.
It's still complex, but if you really want root, you should consider going through this step-by-step.
If it's too complicated for you, maybe you should not root your device.

Help installing recovery!

Hi there, i just got the tf300t pad and i want to install katkiss 6.0. Anyway i been looking for instruction to install the necesario recovery but there is different post and i don't know what instrucctions should i follow. I would appreciate some help, how can install everything from "zero" . Thanks

If you want to install MM 6.0, you need Kang TWRP [email protected] That's mandatory!!!
So I would like to recommend to you to look at following thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf300t/development/recovery-twrp-t3046479. There is for any question you may have to find the correct answer. Good luck!

Thanks for the help, just a question , the thread has instruccions for an upgrade, but why if i didn't install any custom recovery, there is another steps that i should take, i was looking some threads that says i need to unlock my bootloader, so what should i do?

Sorry, I thought your boot loader is already unlocked. This is one the basic requirements before you may be able to install both any custom recovery and any custom rom. There is also the fact being on the latest ASUS stock rom "Jelly Been".
That means you have to do your home work first before you do anything what can brick your tablet. How to do? you will find easily in the forum.
