Problem after flashing clockworkmod recovery on galaxy s2

hi guys,
I have a galaxy s2 international version, v2.3.6,stock rom, kernel xwkl1
After flashing an insecure kernel,i try flashing cwm recovery nd it gets stuck on the boot screen
Then after flashing the original kernel the phone boots up
How to make cwm work,guys?

[Q] custom rom for galaxy mini?

I have galaxy mini running android 2.3.5 and I want to flash a custom ROM.. so any suggestions which one is better
for my galaxy...
Note: I have a problem ..I can't enter recovery mode.. but download mode is working fine also my phone is working fine
...from day's ago I flashed a boatloader cause my galaxy bricked then I flashed gingerbread 2.3.5 and it's working fine except that I can't enter recovery mode and can't do a reset data factory.
Any HELP I'll be appreciate
By the way can I install Ubuntu using the complete Linux installer

Roms

I've never been one to flash a rom. Not even when I had my S3. I been thinking long and hard about flashing CM10. Do roms update automatically like a Verizon update does? Anything special I need to do before going into this mod if I do?

hi, you can root your tablet by installing a custom recovery (like clockwork mod) and then installing cf auto root, that way you will have your stock firmware rooted. However i strongly recommend you to install a custom rom. Stock firmware comes preloaded with a lot of useless apps that occupymemory(ram and storage). If you install a custom rom your 3110 will feel more light and there is no need to root as they come already rooted. I have installed cyanogen mod in my 3110 and im 100% satisfied. Also best guide i ve found is the official cyanogen http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_p3110
remember if you install a custom rom "Rooting the stock firmware is neither recommended nor necessary."

Instead of sticking to android 4.2.2, I recommend u to install 4.3 Roms like hellfire,slimbean etc,,,they are rooted by default and comes with lots of features that doesn't come on stock ROM,,stock based 4.2.2 lags a lot,,,and gaming performance is excellent in these 4.3 based ROMs, but as suggested by @katsika you gotta have custom recovery like CWM installed

1.Enable usb debugging.2.Turn off your P3110.3.Go to download mode by pressing Volume+/Power.3Download Odin 3.5.Download expressowifi or something.5.Put in Odin 3 (where is pda section is).6.Your device will reboot.7.Enjoy.(Warranty will be void but you can unroot with odin using stock roms.:laugh:

Custom Recovery

Hi I'm wondering what is the best custom recovery for the s4 stock rom 4.4.2 odex and how to install it, it took me awhile to even root my phone because I didn't want to brick it. Anyways I really need I custom recovery because I would like to install the s5 lockscreen but apparently I need a deoxeded rom
