hi guys,
I have a galaxy s2 international version, v2.3.6,stock rom, kernel xwkl1
After flashing an insecure kernel,i try flashing cwm recovery nd it gets stuck on the boot screen
Then after flashing the original kernel the phone boots up
How to make cwm work,guys?

Does it have sd card? Download rom to computer, transfer to sd, plug into phone, and install threw recovery!

Yeh, I would go with what techno-update said. I think you need to re-flash your phones ROM. Probably have some problems with the boot.img
Sorry but I'm still new to rooting and all. So how do I download rom to computer?

My uncle has a Samsung galaxy s I-500...he has it with "element's(carrier)....I'm pretty sure its rooted,I got it into android recovery and it has a boot animation...so its rooted I'm sure lol.
I'm wondering how to put a custom recovery on it so I can put rom and stuff on his phone.

I try to install a new Custom Rom on my galaxy tab 10.1 wifi and it failed and there no way for me to put a different rom onto the sd card(well if there is another way plz tell me) then i heard you can flash a stock rom with odin and so i install the united kingdom ICS rom and tryed that but it come up with a error message on the tablet saying something about partition is too small. Im running out of option any help would be great.

you can't use the firmware or ROM of any other device on to your Samsung GALAXY S Duos GT S7562, it will end up in a dead phone which may not be recoverable by yourself,
though a working KITKAT version is available through Optional ROM that is Cyanogenmod 11.

Please I'm looking for who to help me out. My Samsung galaxy s2 AT&T skyrocket sgh-i727 cant flash custom roms. When i'm trying to flash custom rom, it will abort and write "install zip aborted, this is a hercules". I've tried about 4 roms no avail. I'm on embryo 6 (4.1.2). I will be grateful to whoever is willing to help me out. Thanks.
