Which ICS Kernel is the fastest?
Faux123 vs SebastianFM vs Bricked vs rcmix ics
I don't want to be that guy, but does this really matter? Benchmarks mean very little on an Android phone. What matters is how the phone performs in day to day use. Is that one (probably inaccurate) number really that important?

Then I got a 90000 on antutu, AOSP ICS.

SebastianFM 1.30.3 @1512MHZ
Here are my Benchmarks on different Kernels.
Testing Config
ROM: Virtuous Inquisition v4.0.0
CPU Speed: 1512Mhz
Tweaks: Second Core Forced ON
Governor: Interactive
Scores are best of 2 runs
Results Antutu
SebastianFM 1.30.3
Faux v001 Build 7
RCMix ICS V4.3
Other Notes:
Tested Bricked-3.0-Kernel v0.4 before and was noticeably slow in UI and scored 58xx....
RCMix ICS V4.3 seems to be the fastest in UI and 3D performance, really great. something is wrong with IO... but feels faster then others.

Great Score. what rom are you using?

Running 2.05.x radio, sky raider 2.5, unrevoked forever, and stock kernel
Wow so I just installed the above kernel hydra_ocuv2_v10_signed.zip and got a 1518!!
With SkyRaider 2.5.2 I got to 1402 using the hydra kernel as well; how dare you get 1403! grr.

If you do not understand the way processors work, you should not be overclocking your phone.
Also, this thread is about Quadrant scores not troubleshooting.
That said, you may find that the overvolt version may help your issue.

Looking at your sig, I'm intrigued. I'm running what you're running but I haven't attempted a kernal update.
No issues at all with Hydra Kernal? Easy to install?
Thanks for any input.

answering for him: very stable and installing a kernel easy as installing a rom.
btw, just updated
Got this with CM6 RC3.
1280 or so on SkyRaider 2.5.2 vanilla, but I am running stock speed undervolted kernel, so yesterday I had 13h+ of uptime/usage and 28% battery left yet before I went to bed. Seems like a worthwhile tradeoff

I like with Speedy kernel
I've tested almost every ICS rom's available and right now KANGY6 with MATRIX v14.5 CFS it's the best combo for me.
i'm getting 3000+ on Quadrant with 1.46Ghz OC
You may try the CYBERGR ROM it's also very stable and fast.

these threads are hard to do because there are so many good ROM's, and everyone has their preferences.

nothing is more stable then stock !, more close to stock = more stable.
but i suggest KANGY-S + matr1x 14.5 CFS, that's what i am using now.
I wanna know which is the fastest ROM and kernel combo out there! I'm currently running Hypernonsense v2.1 with sensations kernel at 1.8 ghz its really fast but I feel like this phone has more potential...please provide quadrant standard test! You didn't provide any info, just an out-of-context screenshot.
To answer op's question, Any sense 4.0 rom with a new bricked kernel should fly and in my opinion, be the fastest. They slimmed sense down a lot and cm 9 is probably a month away at least from being 100% optimized; plus cm9 has limited kernel options
I using [ROM] Android Revolution HD 6.6.2 | ICS | High Quality & Performance | 3.32.401.105_R.
I think it best if + Bricked-3.0-Kernel v0.9

I am using the same combination. Works pretty fast. But I guess Sense 4.0 ROMs could be a tad bit faster. Can't be too sure as I haven't tried them YET.
I also did a 4k one but i didn't screenshot it.
Using HyperNonSense 2.3 and Faux123 004 1.71.
http://postimage.org/image/wcwy09dqd/
CM9 stripped @1.5GHz, v6 supercharger, nitro lag nullifier. Smoothest and fastest UI I have tried so far.
sent from HTC Pyramid using Tapatalk 2
thanks guys im not a big sense fan but i did like 4.0 so i tried OrDroid but it was sooo laggy and buggy and the screen wouldnt respond
i tried VI 4.0.1 and it was fast but i didnt like it that much the battery life kinda sucked
i always end up with hypernonsense with sebastians kernel at 1.8 and i get 3800+ on my quad scores
so im happy with that but if theres anything faster out there (with quad scores please) let me know sense or no sense ! as long as the overclock is stable im cool with that too (as i am overclocked with sebastians kernel as i said before)
anyone know how to incorporate sweep2wake?

Because :-
No bugs
Too fast
5800 in antutu (the old one) benchmark
No freezes or problem
Best battery life
And if want an advice use its kernel overclocked at 1200 MHz to get better performance and 6300 (the old one) in antutu benckmark
