Hi, can yur tab plus send / receive file via Bluetooth? I am trying to send photo or mp3 from my HTC to my tab plus via Bluetooth.... but it doesn't work.
Any one hv the same problem?
What should I do to make it works?
Thanks a lot.....
:screwy: it may be a stupid quest but, which feedbacks do you get from your devices?
Such as "0 sent, 1 failed" feedback? Does your 7+ show you notifications of bluetooth coming files or doesn't it? If negative (another stupid quest) is it visible and reachable?
Did you try to send/receive from/to another device instead of your HTC?
Sent from my Galaxy Note with DarkyROM 3.3
I already paired my tab plus with both my htc touch pro 2 n htc IS.
when i try to send file from my both htc device to my tab plus, there is no notification shown in my tab plus. However, there are notification shown in both my htc device saying thay failed to sent file.
Did yur tab plus work in bt file transfer? Tq
Ok so I could give you an example. The same thing happened to me with my Moto Xoom. I couldn't send files to my Xoom from my Note (with custom ROM) when I had the stock rom on it. Then happened the opposite situation and all I can say with my experience is that it just depends from Roms/Devices
I repeat I got your same issue trying to send files from a single device (example my Note) to my Xoom. But Xoom receives files from others and the Note normally sends files to other devices... It's a mistery. No issue with my P6200 anyway

For those having this issue, (like me) I found a solution that works better than what I am used to.
Just go to the Play store and download the Bluetooth File Transfer app. This works like a charm and allows me to transfer files and quick bluetooth shutdown when done transferring.
I still can't figure out why transferring files do not work out of the box though. Anyone find a native workaround?
U don need to install apps... if yur tab can't receive file, u try send one file via bt to other device. After that, yur tab might be able to receive file via bt from other device .... I tried n it works ...

hi,
I was wondering if anybody has used Travroute's CoPilot Pocket PC 4 with the Xda I or II
i was having problems with getting the wave files to work,
i tried it on my original SX56 and the wav file didnt work (tts did though)
and so i thought when i get my xda II everything will be fixed, but it did the same thing on the Xda II ive tried uninstalling, reinstalling, changing directories, cant seem to get it working
ive email travroute several times and it seems they dont want to help, or couldnt be bothered (i hope they are reading this)
anyway does anyone have any ideas? is anybody using it with the xda?
could you maybe send me you wave files from the cd?
email [email protected]
thanks in advance
I have use Pocket CoPilot on both my XDA and my XDA II. It is super cool on the XDA II with Bluetooth GPS. The XDA used a homemade data cable to power the device and hook up with the GPS.
I just did a normal install. In fact, I loaded the cab files into my extended ROM to load automatically in case of a hard reset. I use the prerecorded voice prompts because I think the text to speach sounds to much like the computer in War Games. (Just ahead, a nice game of chess.)
I will e-mail you the cab files I am using. You will have to use your own product key and activate it through ALK.

I totally agree with you about the computer voice
I can't even understand it, that why I tried using the wav files
but for some reason it doesnt work
if you could email the cab's that would be great,
now i know if it worked for you and you used the same cab files on an xda and xda II, then it has to be something else

hey panabax i never recieved those files
anyway does anybody know how to fix this problem of installing the wav files for copilot?
i have even tried moving everything from rom (the autorun feature) and tried installing the copilot as i thought maybe it was a conflict with software but its not working
anybody with the same problem?
thanks
ANY help deserves a *beer*
Joe
email me
I tried to post with an attachment, but it must be too large. I wanted the 4MB UK Roger voice that had come with my FONIX voice dial software to work on CoPilot (since ALK uses FONIX technology it seemed reasonable). They actually sent me a newer version in a cab file that installs easily. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but you can't just replace the voice with .wav files. It has to be in the proper format for the underlying FONIX engine to utilize it. email be at [email protected] and I will forward you what CoPilot sent me

The old msn is in the ROM Memory, you cann't delete it, so just install the new one, it will rewrite the registry.
I can use it for the first 2 days, but now whenever I try to access WLM , it will connect via EDGE eventhough wifi is connected, when I connect it via activesync, it will say sign in failed.
does it work for you guys ?

Same for me, connects thru EDGE although WIFI is avalible, really annoying
Also, I can't change display name, anyone else experiencing that?
I had to disable EDGE, and delete all EDGE settings before being able to connect via WiFi
I will update the live mobile to the latest version soon.
It seems to work with some caveats:
messenger can't send messages. Presence can be seen, but no messages.
Push email sorta-works. It did in my early tests, but later I think it might not be. May need to be "logged in" to live to fix this. Also, I noted a setting on when to sync (manually/as needed/15 mins / 30 mins / etc). "As needed" is not selectable..
Thanks for your work though - very promising.
it works fine on my phone, a bit slow gotta get the omap clock again.. didnt like it cos of the warranty stuff but whatever.... only tried it through bluetooth > computer >internet though
EDIT: Damn! all my msn contacts is in my contact book, i dont want that, hundreds of mails, anyone have a sulotion?
Hi,
Sim City and Order&Chaos are 2 games that I'd love to play on Note's big screen.
But I couldn't get them running no matter what I do.
First of all, I'mnot sure which DATA I should use for Galaxy Note.
Is Galaxy S II data compatible with Note ?
Should I use Chainfire 3D ?
what settings ?
Thanks.
any idea about this ?
I'd appreciate any help...

thanks but have you been successful with this ?
because;
I have copied the rar contents to the correct path (I am sure because when I uninstall app, this folder is deleted)
but still I get the "your device is not compatible" error when I launch the game.
so, I'm not sure ???
also, what about Sim City ?
I still couldn't run Order & Chaos. Trying...
Any ideas about Sim City ?
I know you can enable wifi direct under more settings. But I can't find the option to send files through wifi direct. Does anyone know what's the problem? Or isn't this option integrated in Sense?
I've seen that a friend of mine can send files to me through wifi direct (with an SGS3). So I know this method works on android.
FYI I have an unrooted One S, so I'm running stock rom.
Thanks in advance.

I know this is an old thread, but does Wifi Direct work on a One S? I was hoping that the Jellybean update (4.1.1) would have sorted this problem, but I still cannot get it to work.
Just to let everyone know that after a bit of messing around I’ve managed to use Wifi Direct between the HTC One S and my Galaxy S3.
Note: HTC One S has been updated to version 4.1.1 so I’m not sure if that has made a difference or not, as I still cannot use wifi direct without a 3rd party app.
From the PlayStore, download app “Wifi Direct” and install on BOTH phones.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwyLDEsImRlLmo0dmVsaW4ud2lmaWRpcmVjdCJd
Run both apps on both phones, it seems to work better if use the HTC Ones S to click on connect to “GS3 name” and click on GS3 to accept the invitation. It will then say connected.
All you have to do then is use ES File Explorer on GS3 (or similar app), find the file you want to send, click and hold on that file, select Share, and click on the newer Wifi Direct symbol app that you have installed, not the Samsung Wifi Direct app.
Just done a test file of 350mb and that took about 2 mins

I don't have an answer, but you can try AirDroid. Its a free app that lets you wirelessly send things to/from your phone or just access the phone's memory in general.
