Extended Battery - HTC Sensation

I've seen some Anker 2400mah batteries for the EVO 3d, but seeing how they're the same I would've thought there to be the same for a sensation but with a different back cover.
I can't find anything like that, if anyone can, please let me know.
Also, isn't there an official HTC extended battery like the hd2 one for the sensation?

Bump .... ... .. .

If i'm not mistaken there are many types of extended battery for the HTC sensation that do not need a bigger cover. First you have the popular Anker Batteries.. This is so far, to me, the best extended battery as it greatly improves the battery life of my sensation. What used to last me half a day with 3g on, now lasts me about 13-15 hours. Hope this helps.

Hey mate have you tired ebay? I got one for my sensation paid 10gbp and it last over 48 hours with listening to abit of music and texting and talking. its a perfect fit and it hasnt even got close to being warm.

I have the Anker, but it doesn't last me more than about 6-7 hours, and this is with it underclocked; granted I do use it a lot, but that's why I'm looking for a better one that's thicker than the oem batteries like anker.

I have looked on ebay, but I haven't seen batteries with higher mah's like 2400mah or more. I don't mind having to put on a thicker case, but there doesn't seem to find any for the sensation - there are more for the EVO 3D eventhough they use the same type of batteries.

Bump

Hi guys I need help to find a good solution for my sensation... actually with stock battery, display brightness set to 40%, CPU set to 1290 MHz and 3g connection on, I get only 4-5 hours of use... I need somethings that help me to reach at least 10 hours of intensive use without paying over 15-6 €… What you suggest? I'm thinking about:
1) http://www.ebay.it/itm/330715277447?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_2514wt_924
about this I read only negative feeds here on xda while on amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B005O8SA2S/ref=dp_db_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1) there are many positive reviews
2) http://www.amazon.co.uk/1900mAh-rec...XHC0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1334234975&sr=8-1
I've read that this is produced by the same company of anker battery and that this has the same quality of any anker battery...
3) any anker battery pack with 1900 mah, but price is about 20 €...
what do you think about the first? The second should be better? I need to stay about 15 hours without charging (5 of intensive use and 10 of moderate use)... I also want to buy a separate charger for the second battery, but I'll take it from hong kong and delivery time is about 30-40 days...

The gold batteries are terrible, the saner and anker (chichitec too in US) are the best choices.

The gold one is crap - I bought it and it was only 1500mah - the seller is a scumbag too. When I sent proof it was nowhere near rated, he said he could refund me half, and then tried to negotiate from there claiming it is not his fault. He refused to edit his listing nor acknowledge others who had the same issue (see his feedback). I had to bully him into a refund by threatening negative feedback and a paypal dispute.
It seems there is only one option with a replaceable back cover, and it is Mugen $100~ and gives poor reception since there are no antennas on the cover.
You may want to investigate the powerskin, although I don't care for the inability to transfer data via usb while it is on, nor the shape. I do miss my EVO 3D + Extended battery.

Omnia 7 Replacement Batteries

The Omnia 7 uses the same battery as the Omnia HD (i8910)
So you can get replacement ones quite cheaply on ebay.
what I really want is a battery charger case...
you get them in Korea for other phone models but have yet to see any here at all.
basically it's a small case to carry your battery in, but it has a little port so you can charge your spare battery whenever.
it means you don't have to wait around and you always have a spare charged battery at hand.
this one is for the galaxy s
here
or

why can't we have stuff like this? it would make life so much easier!
ups wrong thread
That would really be cool.
But I am pretty happy with the battery performance...
i heard a lot of good thing about omnia 7 battery before buying it, but i am somewhat disappointed right now. it does not last me 8-20. God forbid if i played anything on the loudspeaker, when i'm say, camping.
i really hope the next mayor breakthrough in tech is in this area, instead of unnecessary quad-cores and whatnot.
I fully agree, I wish there was more impovement made in the battery field! I don't think there is a need to have processors any faster than 1Ghz. It's simply a marketing tool to get all the fools thinking that they have a better phone because it has a dual core processor etc. Now on a desktop computer where you will REALLY multitask (watch a video whilst photoediting, surfing the web and chatting on MSN) multi-core processors make sense. On a phone, there can only be one application in the foreground at any one time.
Anyway, I can confirm with the OP that the Omnia HD battery does work. I am using one right now!
Battery life for me is somewhat amazing! I went to a wedding where I must have played games for atleast 2-3 HOURS, then surfed the web somewhat, sent plenty of txt messages and a few phone calls. Lasted the full day, got home, went to bed, started surfing the web and the battery refused to die!
Whereas on other days, the battery tends to die quicker :S It's hit or miss sometimes.
Battery technology has definitely not caught up with smartphone technology. Many consumers are opting to an extended battery or a spare battery. Try batteries4less online.
Try mugen power

I grabbed the 1800mah mugen. It's incredible.
I'll spend the day with moderate surfing/news feeds/gaming and often I'll be at 50-60% battery. It's ridiculous I almost don't believe it.
That being said, it takes hours to charge via USB (from almost dead to full takes approx. 9-10 hours.)
What about this 2430 mah battery:

if you scrape the cover off, it's 750mah inside.
go for oem, all the rest are fakes (esp china ones) and the genuine ones like mugen are 200% more expensive than oem ones for marginal benefit.
my omnia was suffering from battery issues and i realized although the phone is new, the battery was old, so i bought a new one from amazon for £7 inc shipping. has worked fine ever since. normal days usage, 1hr of calls, 2 hrs browsing, 1 hr texting and the occasional game and i have 45% at the end of the day when im recharging. i have two email accounts on push, location on, wifi on.

Question about the Mugen Batteries
Whew, first post! Anyhow, I have seen the Mugen batteries listed previously for other phones I have used. I've always been curious, but never brave enough to pull the trigger on one. Is anyone aware of any battery draw-down tests involving their products? I'd be curious if someone were to use something WP Bench's battery drain test to get a valid comparison of the standard 1500mah to the extended 1800mah cell.
After about a month's use I can safely say my phone has yet to fully drain.
I do charge every night, and often the charge floats around 50% after a full day's use. I surf quite a bit (on wifi), play some games, etc. I admit though, that since getting Mango my Omnia doesn't grab 3G as often as it used to (it's usually on EDGE). This is a known issue with Mango, so I'm sure I'd see heavier drain if I was on 3G all the time.
Since I bought the Mugen day one, I can't really compare it to the stock battery. I too, would be curious about WP Bench drain tests. If I have some time where I don't need my phone, I'll try it out.
Anyone had any experience with this site?

claiming they have 2400 batteries for the Omnia 7 for £25...it doesn't look as obviously fake as the ones on eBay, and it says they provide a warranty ect.
Im looking for a genuine samsung battery for my omnia 7, mine came deffective, does anybody can tell me a trust website? thanks!
mugenpower 1800mAh drain test
I compared the 1800mAh mugen battery with a stock (about 8 months old).
First you have to go through several discharge/recharge cycles as they recommend.
using WP7 Bench Battery test :
stock lasted 3:48.49 (225mins)
mugen lasted 4:35.52 (275mins).
So an improvement of 22%.. which is what you would expect if the battery really had 20% more capacity as advertised.
at USD$46 these are not cheap, but the phone now lasts a complete day with my typical use, and it didn't use to - so to me it's worth it.
BTW the delivery from the official site was free and quick (under a week)
hummmmm

"Free extended cover included" do you want to make the phone any bigger?
By what i read on others forums, the 2400 mAh is a fake, so the 1800 mAh's Mugen is simply the best choice.

HTC G2 1800 mah Mugen Power battery review and progress

Gooooooooooood evening every1,
I'm Antony and I will be discussing the progress and my personal review on the new 1800 mah Mugen Power battery for my HTC G2 that I bought and received yesterday.
1st of all the stock battery that it comes with when you buy it is a 1300mah battery, which for me is not enough, for I am a very heavy user of the net and I use plenty of apps and games, plus I tinker with my G2 all thee time. That battery would not last the whole day for a person such as I, unless I just use my G2 to text, then I might have some battery left at night till I need to recharge. I bought my G2 in the beginning of Jan and have had it till now which is the 7th of June. So it would be 5 months with it, and I've hated the battery from day 1 because I would use the gps nav to help me get around, and after using it my battery would just collapse in charge =( the necessity of a car charger had to come along, that's not a big deal, but I lost the damn thing. So I noticed my friend had an extended battery for his evo and I decided to search the net for a battery for my G2 ( I love saying it, its just soo damn powerful and fast, it deserves to be called by its name instead of just a phone, we all know its not just that) and I found plenty of batteries; stock, and extended. But just soo many that I didn't know which would be reliable. Then I ran into the Mugen Power batteries. I did research on reviews and what previous customers thought of their batteries. And they were all mostly well, above average, i'd say 4/5 on the scale. Only complaints I found was that they didn't last as much as the stock battery so they thought it was garbage.
Now here is my take on the battery after only 1 day of using it.
I put it to charge for a bit over 12 hours, maybe 15, but no more than 24 for sure, as instructed on the packaging ( instructions were short and simple, nothing techy nor complicated ) and after finishing with the charge I disconnected it, and the battery begins to leak what I believe was battery acid through the back door! Can u believe that?! Nor could I! That's y it didn't happen! Haha, just kidding, as I was, I disconnected it and began using it like I normally would. I had wi-fi on, with the back light low on 25% because I was indoors, and the mp3 player was running. To add to that I went on some social networking website, and various other websites not in search of anything specific but just browsing my interests. Checked my gmail various times and last but not least, browsed the market. After a while my battery was at 75% I did the calculation and estimated that it would last 5 more hours till it hit 50%. And I was approximately correct! It went about 10 hours till it hit 50% I was impressed. The stock battery would never give me a result like that after using it like I regularly would, not even on day 1 out of the box. Now this is only from today as my 1st day of use with the 1800 mah Mugen Power battery. I will continue to use it and post my further results. I will continue to recharge the battery for at least 12 hours as instructed 3 to 5 times. I feel confident that it will give me even better results after completing the charging instructions. I believe that the unsatisfied customers that gave bad reviews might of not followed the instructions to properly charge the battery, they might of thought that it just any other battery that u just charge to 100 percent the second it reaches there and u can immediately disconnect it and use it while expecting to get the 100% charging results... well its not, let me say that they mightve been idiots that cannot follow instructions.
To wrap this up; stock battery sucks, new battery is WORKING! And with great results. Apple can kiss my ass and diamonds are forever.
If you have any questions or comments please post them here, I would like to read about your personal experience with a Mugen Power battery.
HTC G2 (1516mhz in speed!!! Be jealous!!)
You have diamond on your ass? Lol j.k
In seriousness, thanks for the review. I'll have a try at the new battery soon.
You should also calibrate the battery with the phone after mugen's instructions. I plan on getting one of those after a few more reviews.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 PyroMod 2.0 via tapatalk
No mention as to how much it cost? Lol. And I agree with the stock battery sentiment. Mine died on me today after browsing the internet for 30 minutes max, music throughout the day, and Plants Vs. Zombies for 40-ish minutes. Boo.
It's possible to get if for around 20, maybe 22 euro's, excluding shipping.
I think i'm going to buy one

Care to provide a link?
Mugen's site lists it at $45 USD, that's about 32 Euros.
I bought 3500 mAh battery from DealXtreme. Cost $11.90 with shipping.
Comes with it's own back plate because the battery is so thick. Very ugly looking and heavy but lasts about twice as long as the stock battery
I can't provide a link or pictures as I am not yet allowed to post links here.
hey, cheers for the review... how many hours in total is it lasting now? and did you have to cut any covers off the battery to make it fit or did it just fit nicely out of the box
but the g2 has kind of a weird back. does the battery stick out and need a bigger cover? how does that look on the g2? (pic please)

I have one of these batteries. it's quite big and you need to use the cheap cover that comes with it. It's good to have if you're traveling.
My apologies for not posting earlier, battery continues to deliver great results. This battery actually last the whole day. This days results were 15 hours straight on moderate use and still has 30%. Some of you have asked for a link, I believe that I am not allowed to post links, I may be mistaken. But its the 1800mah Mugen Power battery. Its the exact same size as the stock battery. I didn't need to cut anything on it to make it fit with the original cover, fits in perfectly. Here in the United States, it cost about 44 dollars plus about 3 dollars extra for 1st class shipping. I bought it from the official website, if you find a better deal somewhere else, well congratulations, I hope it delivers its full capacity.
Any more questions? Comments?

I agree with this. No cutting or bad fit, and is better than stock. Not by as much as you would think from the difference in capacity, but I find it noticeable. Now happy with phone life.
I just got mine yesterday. I left it on the charger for 12 hours, as suggested, and I've had it on for 4 1/2 hours, 3 of that was constant GPS use with the screen on. I'm at just barely 1/2 charge now. At the very least, this will get me through an entire work shift of heavy use.
1800 mah battery. Cost $49 off Amazon, shipped Friday, got here last night.
If I had the money, I would compare this one to the Andida 1800mah battery and post a thread for comparison for that. I have thought many times about getting the andida battery but don't want to spend money on a battery without more juice. I have been saving for this battery for a little while now. Hopefully, I can get it soon because I do have an 1800mah battery for an Evo made by andida.
Yes, it's not the same but it could be used as a comparison for this battery...
I got this battery. It's a barely noticeable improvement over the stock battery.
You might not have the exact same battery that I have. I bought it from their official website. Not Amazon. If you do have the same battery, did you charge it as instructed on the packaging? If you did not, then there is your problem. If you did just as instructed and it still doesn't work, and if its an exact Mugen battery, just like we have, then you may just have a defective battery.
I would post pictures but I am not allowed to post yet.
The review sucks; Very unprofessional, no model numbers, etc.
This sounds more like an ad than anything else.
Second, do you use SetCPU? Im a heavy user (surfing, downloading, angry birds, etc) as well and out of 24 hours about 6 Id say, the phone is idle and SetCPU kicks in downclocking it to 200mhz when the screen is off. In those conditions Ive seen the phone go down to about 60%
Third, do not tell funkeee his battery is defective. Battery life depends on so many other things such as reception, individual components, etc.

Extended Battery Mugan Power 3600 mAh

Has anyone ordered/tried this battery yet? It seems super bulky but I need something that'll at least get me 24 hours of life and I don't think the 1800 one will do it.

You can get a coupe of stock batteries plus an external charger for about 10 bucks on ebay, I dunno why you would wanna spend $100 on that thing, the added bulk and weight on an already big device would suck ass

I don't know, it just seems like a pain to carry all these extra things. We'll see though. @[email protected]
I'll probably check this out. I've owned some truly bulky Sidekicks and never sweated the weight or bulk.

I was thinking of ordering one of these, anyone tried it out yet? Is it worth buying?
Yes. Have one.
Weighs about the same as a Sidekick LX and the device is now about the same thickness as a Sidekick 2/3. If either of those things make you feel uncomfortable, the battery isn't for you.
Shipping from Hong Kong takes forever and I have heard rumors of spotty quality control down at Mugen. There are some people around the forums that have had to return defective batteries. (My guess is that it is not a pleasant place to work and the hours are long. So, be patient.) With that said, I'm happy to report no problems so far.
After a few charges, you will start to see the benefits of the extra juice. Don't bother trying to calibrate the battery yourself, I have found that deleting the battery stat file actually makes the device expect the stock battery. All you can do is follow the instructions that come with your battery.
The extra capacity is nice and I don't mind the extra bulk. You'll have to decide if the trade off is worth it. Good luck.

orange808, how much longer does your battery last now? xmeatismurderx, links for extra batteries and charger on ebay?
ive had it for a few months, i love it i airbrushed the case to match my phone and depending on rom/usage/other facotrs i can easily go for 1 day one weekend i went for 36 hrs with light use and juice defender on and it still had some juice left
Sorry about the late reply..
With moderate use, I have to charge my phone every other day right now. 36 hours is about right for general use.
Heavy or constant use is about 10-12 hours. The display seems to eat the most battery, so this applies to just about any tasks that I do on the device.
My results may not refect what you would get. I have removed all of the built in T-Mo and Zipwip software. I use Voodoo sound on top of the stock kernel (no V6SC mod). I use Green Power to manage my data.
Hope this helps.
I have the 1800mAh battery in my Sidekick. It was just the bump that my device needed. I can go a full day easily doing what I need to do. I'm running Glorious Overdose V1 as my ROM and am using K9 Email with IMAP IDLE enabled which is a battery hog IMO but I need my push email. The nice things about the 1800 versus the larger batteries are a lower price and it fits inside the stock cover.
yeah the 1800 wouldnt have been enough for me, but the stock cover would have been nice

The nice things about the 1800 versus the larger batteries are a lower price and it fits inside the stock cover.

which 1800 did you purchase? the Mugen or a generic?
IMO don't buy that bulky battery just install the new rubix xcel rom for the phone make a battery calibration than lower the brightness and voila your battery last much longer.
I have the mugen power 3600 mah battery in my phone. Probably the best investment i've ever made since the 2400 mah battery on my old G1. It lasts me through the ENTIRE day on 3G (I never saw the 4G icon btw. probably because of where i live)
I leave for work at around 8AM, drive to college at 4PM, and drive back home at 8PM. on all trips (30-45 mins), I listen to online MP3 streams on 3G. At work and college, I check twitter, gtalk, G+ messenger, email, and some light browsing.
i hit 15% battery at around 1 AM or so. I never felt so careless about charging my phone
EDIT: also, the fat battery cover makes the phone feel far more ergonomic than with the stock battery cover. the size feels just natural for my hands.

i know only use mine on weekend trips, day to day i use the stock batt at the office because its plugged into the computer anyhow
anyone who has the 1800 mah battery, which one did you buy? i bought replacement batteries off ebay, they were super cheap- 2 1800 mah batteries plus external charger for 11 bucks. if i charge em up in the external charger and put em in the device they work fine, but anytime i try to plug the phone in, either to a wall charger or usb, the phone goes dead... completely dead, and i have to unplug, pull the battery and reboot. has anyone experienced this? i guess i got what i paid for
edit: i'm guessing people got the Mugen 1800, i see it now on ebay for around $44.
I changed to the new rage 3.6 time and my battery lasts twice as long

Don't get em, haha. The battery life on them seemed even less than the stock 1500 mah! Plus the flaw I mentioned about the phone shutting down when plugged in with those batteries. I've had some good luck at times with cheap replacement batteries, but that particular set was a real flop. For reference, I think it was $8.99 for 3 batteries + ext. charger.... avoid!
Seems like a good investment if you tend to use your device like a computer. But for me, it'd be pointless.

What battery should I buy?

My stock battery is shot. It will drain from fully charged down to nothing in an hour of browsing the net. I have tried everything to calibrate it and have tried different ROMs but still the drain is horrible.
I saw a 1900 anchor (ankor?) battery on amazon for $19. Is that the one that everyone buys?

Yes. http://www.amazon.com/Anker-1900mAh-Battery-Sensation-Mytouch/dp/B0053EZJMC
It works great. Though l don't use my phone heavily. I mostly use it at home when phone is plugged in. But still it last much longer than stock.
Most people buy Anker battery and are very happy with it. I personally wanted more juice so I bought Mugen 3800mah battery. With Mugen I get with extremely heavy use around 26 hours of use. With moderate use I get around 36 hours. Light use 48 hours. But one problem with mugen is you will have to replace your back cover and your phone will be thicker to accommodate the battery. For me personally, I was after extreme battery life so the thicker phone didn't bother me at all. Another issue is price. Mugen is five times more expensive than Anker. But for me, I'm keeping my phone for awhile so it was a investment. But most don't want to deal with those issues so they choose Anker. It all depends on what you want. I recommend you start with anker, then if you decide you want more juice, go with mugen. But for most Anker is just fine. It's a good battery and will give you extended use. If you want extremely long battery life, go with mugen.

This is probably a stupid question but you can charge the battery by plugging your phone in like usual right? I see that some of them come with a wall charger where you have to plug the actual battery into that.

Thanks for the response but I think that is a little overkill. I will probably get a new phone before that kind of price is worth it.

Yes. Anker simply replaces your stock battery. Same shape size.
Is this Anker really that good? Beacuse I always buy the batterys from ebay (just like the ones for my DSLR) and have now a no brand 2430mAh using for almost a year and can use it a whole day without problems. Costs me only $12 and free shipping.
I bought 2 Anker batteries and a charger for $30US, I think. No regrets.

I bought my Anker 1 year ago and it still pretty good!
Get Anker.
An important thing to consider is anker has a 1 year warranty. And they WILL honor their warranty. I bought 6 batteries for my families LG Optimus Vs (Our first smartphones) and 1 battery went bad after like 6 months. I called them up a few months later when I realized I had a warranty, and they sent me replacement! (it was like 1 month before my warranty ended) And all they wanted was the serial numbers of the old batteries, however the original ones didn't have numbers so they instead just wanted a photo. (Which now that I think about it I never sent... ...)
Also, one of the chargers (that I bought with 2 batteries, a few months before that set of batteries I mentioned above) fried for some reason after about 8 months. So I left it on the shelf hoping I might be able to fix it. By the time I realized I had the warranty it had been over a year since my purchase. Bummer. So I called them up explained it went bad several months ago but I didn't know about the warranty, could they send me a replacement? And even though I was no longer in my warranty they sent me a new one.
Another thing is, for me, having spare batteries is a MUST as I have a LOT of free time at work. (I'm a background actor, and most of the time we have to do whatever we want) And continuous use (Browsing the web, playing games, reading news, watching TED AIR talks) drains a battery in 3 - 5 hours. And it can sometimes be 16 hour days, with no place nearby to plug in a charger. That's another awesome thing about Anker sets, the stand alone charger. I have MANY times been at work with one of my batteries dead. I looked for and found an outlet, a little far from holding, (where we are while we aren't working) and just plugged a dead battery into the stand alone charger and into the outlet. I can go to work or just go about my business not tethered to the wall, and 3 hours later my battery is charged. I then would switch one of my more drained batteries for it and continue like that.
So ultimately its up to you, but I would recommend getting a set of 2 Anker 1900mah batteries and a charger for $30. However if the charger isn't a big deal for you then look up some $7 Evo 3D batteries on Amazon. They are 1730mah, and are pretty decent.
Bragging here, I currently have around 10 batteries! Only 2 are anker. the others are 5 EVO 3D and 3 Sensation stock batteries I got for only $2 each! I found someone on Amazon selling them for $2 each with $4.50 shipping, only the shipping combined! So I got 8 batteries AND five 16GB Class 4 Sandisk MicroSDs for only $54 total. What a deal. lol.

Polarcell battery?

I am running an unofficial CM 10.1 ROM on my DHD and with 'slight' use I can probably get a full day out of the battery. Prior to the CM 10.1 ROM I was running a custom rooted ROM based on the final official android 2.3 ROM from HTC and I remember the battery lasting much longer (over 12-months ago). I won't be moving back to Gingerbread but want to improve my battery life and have seen good reports of the PolarCell batteries
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390392597069?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Has anyone replaced their stock battery with one of these? Any comments?
Andy
Would be interested in knowing this also. Dont suppose you took the plunge and bought one?
Hi guys
I would be interested too on this question, or another battery brand.
Only want that someone with experience tell us if possible which battery and what brand/model is the best nowadays to buy to our great Desire HD?
And if you can post the link where to buy and maybe some buyer reviews, would be wonderfully.
Because are too many "Fake" vendors nowadays.
But for some questions that I asked to other few members and one recognized developer, they said that one of best batteries are:
First - Oem
Second - Mugen
Third - Anker
....
That PolarCell I never heard do not know =S
Cheers
I guess dhd battery is a pain in the a** for everybody, I suggest you to go for sensation xe, evo 3d type batteries. There are plenty of ways to do it (with battery door or without) I was personally using without battery door because I was already using silicon cover for all phone. Btw you need to apply a small copper wire for external wireless antenna which is already built-in with your original battery door. Search for thread in this section you will find Evo3d battery thread. I have changed to HOX but still my wife is using my beloved DHD with 1950mah Mugen. Believe me it gives equal amount of satisfaction for this money. If you don't want to spend that amount, go for original Amaze 4g battery (which has the highest capacity when compare with evo 3d if I don't remember wrong) still you will be satisfied with battery life.
Please don't ask me, which rom am I using or how is battery life. It depends on people and how they are using.
I can give several examples, heavy usage with all the time 3g, bluetooth, mail sync, whatsapp, viber, browsing, auto brightness but no games and no wireless: it will handle 1.5 day.
or
Moderate usage, all the time mobile network on, a bit whatsapp, several regular calls, a bit browsing, no gaming and wireless off. My wife can easily manage for 2.5 days.
One more thing, if you will have 1950 mugen, your battery will stuck at %15, don't panic it will stay there for at least several hours (according to your usage ofc). Its some kind of a bug. I don't know if somebody found a solution.
I hope, my reply will enlighten you a bit Cheers!
Been using a Polarcell since october 2012 from the manufacturer CellePhone: (http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004I227RK)
New, it lasts the same as the original for me, that means about 3 hours of screen on with about the 70% of the total battery time, automatic brightness but mainly outdoors, so I bet that the auto brightness is actually full brightness the most part of the time, using 3G and no "data sync demanding apps running in background" except whatsapp and the usual google services.
I use to charge the battery every night while I sleep and even though I'm aware that overcharging a long time is harmful I use to let it charge until I wake the next morning.
With this usage schema, I'm facing today a 20% loss approximately, because the battery skips from 80% to 100% when charging.
So is more than a year of usage, around 400 charge cycles, and for 10€ is a good investment for me.
Being from a german company inspires more confidence than chinese clones.
Hope this helps to all of you folks!
A friend of mine picked one up and he had nothing but good things to say. I'll update this post once he replies to my text for exact details!
Bought one a few days ago from http://www.ebay.de/usr/wannsee-electronic (Germany).
The one i bought is for HTC Sensation, sold as 1800 mAh. To fit in DHD i remove the "film" and im surprising to see that on the aluminiumcase of the accu is written 1700 mAh.
Contact the merchant today and wait for an answer. So I didn't know it depends on Polarcell or the reseller...
I just got one myself for Desire S, it is a 1600mAh battery. Been using it for 3 days and I'm quite satisfied with this product.. I also bought one Anker battery for Desire HD....
I can't really compare those cuz its on a different device and different ROM. But I feel that both are doing fine for now..... You can give it a try.
Btw, Anker battery comes with full package, it comes with a box and manual.... The polarcell that I received just comes with a battery with no box, nothing else..
Maybe I would suggest you to get Anker.
Don't forget to use Battery Monitor Widget to see if its actualy a good battery.
I got one today for my old DHD.After couple days of usage I'll post and my opinions.

I'm very satisfy from this battery. After couple charges for 12 hours each now my battery seems very stable. I'm running 30 hours and more with enabled 3g all the time.30-40 minutes calls including viber and 2 hours and a half display on.I think that this is a very gods result for this product.....cost 13€ .
