Mods delete due to dumb ignorant jacksa**es

Noticed updates are taking forever now days and a lot of devs have disappeared in thin air. I looked on the sensation thread and seems mdj,leedroid,Samuel and cdtdroid have left for sensation?!?!?! Or haven't they?

i dont think this is a very good response. this demonstrates the laziness that overruns these forums. 'oh well, a mod will look after me because i didnt want to take the time to do it right myself. someone else will fix my mistakes.'

And by looking at ur previous posts,u tend to be a bit bossy and a bit confused between a mod and a member. Idc if they delete,I was asking a logical question and cry babies wanna come into a thread and start mess. Don't come in if u can't answer my question. Simple as that. I develop and theme and I'm no noob,so thread water softly.

Possible port ICS sense from Sensation

i found this link in sensation thread. is it possible to port it on MT4G? and how hard?

Porting overall is pretty hard. I don't know the first thing about it, except that it would probably take a lot of time.

the easiest to port from is the desire hd. Its fairly simple for that device (most of the time) so if the dhd gets one id take a crack at it but till then..not so sure

You're gonna have to modify a load of m10 files or you're going to have a lot of things falling off the screen. A kernel is gonna be even worse since you need a Sense compatible ICS kernel, and that won't be fun to conjure up.

Is it possible to see how the camera is configured in that ROM. An take another aosp ics ROM, remove the camera in it, then try to put it in Feb's ROM? Just a thought.

Thats what i was thinking,to see if we can get the camera working i posted earlier,i think ppl r striping it down once its on there senstaion and using ics laucher,getting rid of alot of sense features,this is just frm my observations of the thread on sensations boards!!!

Being that it is sense, I'm figuring it has sense framework, that won't work with aosp. But sering how it works well be helpful. Another thought would be to take a gnex ROM, rip it apart, find the camera files. Keep in mind where they go, then try to duplicate it in our ROM.

Many core apps don't really work, but at least we get the real launcher. Most of the things can be ripped out easily or by deleting the apk from /system/app.

haha cause that kinda looks like the launcher from Sony devices
and these guys on the Optimus forums made a rom named Sonyogenmod, so i thought this was that on the Glacier. lol

I put cm7.2 on my buddies Samsung,and its even nicer on that one.
The my touch sold in an hour off Craigslist.

Omg! Finally something else that's not Sense, CM, or MIUI (no disrespect to those ROMs, it's just nice to see something a little different)! Ever since I sold my X10 last year, I've missed the SE interface.But since SE (Sony now) was super slow on updates, and their hardware just wasn't as up to par as the others, I really couldn't justify sticking with them. Definitely looking forward to this, can't wait!!!!!

You can take a look at what the devs will do with the RIL. Just navigate to the GNex forum and look up bamf paradigm. It is literally the best Rom I have ever run on any phone. I'm crossing my fingers for you all. I just sold my thunderbolt for a used gnex. I got the upgrade AND kept my unlimited data ftw.

Unfortunately within the manifest I couldn't find any G1 / Magic specific projects. Looks to me as if it is only a "plain" build without the phone specific parts ...
