Erased "com.android.providers.calendar" - HTC Sensation

I deleted this by accident using Titanium Back Up. Is there a way I can replace it other than going back to recovery?
Thanks
apk, anyone please?

Take the vending.apk out of any 2.1 rom(if you were using 2.1), and push it to /system/app using adb
Here you go

Touchwiz 3.0

Somehow I screwed up my Touchwiz launcher. I tried to install a different version and was messing around with Titanium Backup and now its all messed up. How can I restore the stock launcher? I have already downloaded the original files. Please help.

Hard reset could be one option. I take it your rooted? Maybe pushing the proper apk to system?
Yes, am rooted. I need to re-install the original apk (I have it) but don't know how.
Is there anyone here than can tell me how to return the stock Touchwiz launcher? Its no longer available, I think I deleted it. When I try to install the TouchWiz30Launcher.apk (I'm not even sure if this is the correct version because I think the original said something about update2.1) the installer starts and then says "Application not installed". Help please
You could Odin flash to restore to stock and just re-root your Epic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=773032 hope this helps

[Q] ICS to CM10 Trouble

I have installed cm10 for my Skyrocket from official ICS update. I can not get my contacts which I backed up using titanium backup without screwing up the entire system requiring me to reset it. I suppose it is because it is not in the same format as ICS. Has anyone had this problem and can help me?
Nobody can help you here. Go to the skyrocket forums

Have Google backup your contacts prior to installing cm10. When you try to restore your contacts with tibu are you restoring anything else? Tibu doesn't always work very well and I don't have it restore anything when flashing different roms.

I had some similar challenges and jd's advice (above) was helpful.
Question: are you using the basic contacts in the stock system or an app?
When I went through this I found that restoring wholesale with Titanium was NOT the right way to go.
As mentioned above, if you are using stock then you should mostly just restore manually - through Google backup or Play, after flashing the new ROM. There isnt much you need to restore through Titanium. I used it to restore my launcher with its configuration and my email/contacts/calendar, which were not being managed by stock/google. But thats it.

[Q] restore nandroid backup with locked bootloader?

I had to get a replacement galaxy s3 through Asurion because the power button broke on my phone. I have a nandroid backup of my old phone however the new replacement phone has the locked bootloader so I guess I can't install CWM? How can I restore my nandroid backup to the new phone?
Assuming you have 4.3 installed on your new phone, try safestrap in the development section but I think it only works for 4.3 tw roms. If you still have your old phone, either replace your power switch or find someone to do it for you.

I tried to install TWRP on my old phone to do a backup from that but it looks like it bricked my phone. It won't even light up when I connect it to the charger now....
I was able to use safestrap and install the ROM I was using and I have a GOBackup backup of my apps and data. However it looks like it didn't backup any of the application data, specifically Google Authenticator. So now it looks like I'm screwed and locked out half my accounts.. Is there any way to unpack the tar from the CWM backup to retrieve app settings?
Nevermind, I figured out how to extract the tar and pulled the Authenticator database out and restored it on the new phone. Setting up and customizing everything else from scratch is going to be a PITA though.

DELETED

I accidentally deleted everything on my phone flashing the new ne5 update, I then rooted (cf root) is there anyway I can restore or even backdate my phone to get my stuff back?
P.S those are the only two things I've done to it. I already restored via cloud but doesn't have everything.

If you didn't back up with titanium backup or make a nandroid you've lost all your data. And pics, documents etc that were on your internal memory are gone if you didn't move them to your SD card or backed up to your pc. I learned this the hard way myself on my s3
