[Q] Paranoid rom for Galaxy Note - Is there any way to install it over stock ICS

HI ,
I have a questions about the Paranoid Galaxy note ROM.
1. Can we install it over the Stock ICS (UK) ?
2. Can we get the only Hybrid feature for ICS rooted Stock ?
3. Can we install the ROM over GB stock rooted ?
Is there any way i can develop the hybrid feature for ICS stock rom . Please suggest me a way ?
Because the UK rom is pretty much stable as compaired to stock rom and I am widely using the S-Pen feature and thats why i am not able to move to GB .
Pleaseeeeeeee Help me ...
Thanks,
In Advance
1- No you can't.
In Paranoid's page it says:
DON'T flash FROM ANY SAMSUNG ICS OR ROMS BASED ON SAMSUNG KERNELS (my CM9, AOSP, etc)
Flash any stock GB rom with odin / or any GB kernel [instructions] root device [instructions] and reboot into recovery once again before flashing this
2- I dont think so. it would generally possible with a custom rom because not just the launcher, but also all the apps will be like a tablet app.
3- Yes you can and it is also the recommended one.

CWM Based Recoveries
There are hundreds of roms available. It differs from person to person which roms he/she likes.
I personally like CyanogenMod. Just look here and find a rom.
Almost all threads have a guide how to install the rom. If you don't like the rom you just simply install another one.
If you want to get started, install CWM Recovery as listed above.
Install rom manager on your device

[Q]How to install a custom rom???

Guys,
i would like to install u custom rom on my tab 2. Am using it for internet, ebooks and watching small movies(like tutorials on youtube). the problem i encounter, is the slow performance and slow slow internet. I read this article:
[GUIDE][P31xx][P51xx] Installing custom recovery and updating bootloader w/ Odin
did that but how now to continue? How should i install a custom rom and which custom rom should i use?
many thanks for the advice.
First, are you sure you've installed the recovery? then which device are you using?
and what do you need, gaming performance? battery backup? read the comments on corresponding thread. :fingers-crossed:
My p5110 is now running slimkat 4.4.4 stable and the performance is great. It's like a new device, hence I would highly recommend the roms from the slimteam
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with Tapatalk running on SlimKat
My 4.4.4
I use markox89 4.4.4 Rom on my gt51100 it is smooth and battery friendly. Depends on his you use your tab. It's a cm11 linaro/sabre kk4.4.4 with non overclock Kernal.

There's no official custom rom for my Samsung phone. Still worth it to root?

Hello Friends
My phone is a Samsung A20s (that's with an s) . It seems that there is no official custom rom for this particular phone.
My question is:
1. Should I root it anyway even if there's no official custom rom for it? What good would it do if it's rooted?
2. Given that it does not have an official custom rom, is it safe to install any rom that is 'compatible'? What are the chances of it having too many bugs if I install a ROM that is not an official custom rom?
Thank you
