have the same problem with you..
ppl here suggest use root explorer, go tos system/data/app/ and search for a file with titanium backup odex extension and delete it.,
me myself, try to do those thing above but find no titanium backup extension..

Next time use titanium backup to create an "update.zip" to flash right after you flash whatever rom you want. The update.zip is just the program to install onto your device so you don't have to hunt for the apk in the market.
I'll attach mine to see if it'll help.

Titanium Backup and AT&T apps

If we were to delete the ATT apps with TiBackup, couldn't we sideload them back on (for god knows what reason?) ?
Yup! I did it when I thought removing an AT&T app had screwed up my WiFi, but the problem was something else, so then I took it off again (once put on manually, you can take it off again using the settings screen).
Yeah, if you can find the .apk file, then you can install it. Or if you backed them up with Titanium Backup, you can reinstall them that way.

This is not correct. Titanium backup does not backup the .apk file of system apps. However, you can find the .apk elsewhere and install with no problems.
AT&T is more than happy to provide you with their "Pay Us" apps. You can get all the AT&T apps from their website.
( i feel dirty typing "media net" )

Doesnt Titanium Backup backup the apk's and put them in a .tar.gz file?
If those arent the apk's in those .tar.gz files, whats in them? and what good are they and what good is it to backup your apps with Titanium Backup?

[Q] extract downloaded apk from market

Is it possible to save an app that i downloaded from the market to use at a later date?
Basically I downloaded and use MyBackup Root as my backing up app for my phone which is free from the market and i would like to have that apk on my phone so i can install after i flash a new rom rather than going into the market to have to do it all the time.
Create an update zip that you can flash from recovery, there should be "how-to's"
hanging around.
If not post up your apk and me or someone else will create one for you.
Hope this helps
I always use Titanium Backup to restore apps when I flash new roms. Works flawlessly.
If you have root you can copy the .apk to external memory. If your new rom comes with any kind of file explorer, you just open it and it will install.

titanium backup problems!!

so i backed up my apps using titanium backup..the usual way go to create zip and created a update.zip.. so dropboxed that and nvflashed the new prime rom on it now i download it back from dropbox put it into the folder for titanium and when i go to restore tab on titanium i dont see any numbers in the restore section :S :S? how do i restore???
thank you
if you back it up by update.zip you have to flash it via recovery.
I usually just back up and restore using the batch method.
Not working. It doesnt even detect the file. Oh well i downloaded everything again

Question About System Restore

Is there anyway to keep specific apps after a system restore, you know... Without having to redownload all of them? Or maybe save a app pack on the Google pay store so I can redownload them all in one file.

Titanium Backup or Astro File manager
Well, if you are rooted I would suggest using an app like Titanium Backup. But, otherwise you can use Astro File manager to rip apks for backup individually.

Deodexed ROM: How to deinstall "DropBox"?

I have installed the "Deodexed Stock ROM (4.1.2)" from Darkman on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Went well, thanks! But now, how can I deinstall system apps like Dropbox or others? In the normal App-Manager, I dont have the button "Deinstall", only the buttom "Deinstall Updates".
Thanks!

Thanks for answering. That means just deleting the files/folder and rebooting? What is the path to the apps?
In a file explorer, it will be system/apps. Select the app and delete it. It has to be a file explorer that can get root priveleges. In titanium backup it just brings up a list of apps. You can use the free version to do what you need. I would suggest using Titanium Backup, as it is probably the easiest to use for what you want to do.
Thanks!
