[Q] t- mobile htc sensation 4g unlock without rooting

I searched a lot but couldn't find it. I am not new to xda just need to this phone.
I am trying to help my brother in law to unlock his sensation 4g. But he doesn't want to root the phone to use methods in Dev section. I know Samsung galaxy phones can be unlocked without rooting.
Is there any method to root HTC sensation phone without rooting?
You can always root then unlock and after that unroot

Just do it that way. He will never know
Support TrevE! Fuh Q CIQ!
Call T-Mobile and get it. No rooting required.

He just got it 2 months ago so T-Mobile won't give it. I will have to root unlock unroot.

Will I my phone still be unlocked to T-Mobile if I root it?

I'm thinking about trading my phone for an unlocked At&t HTC Inspire, they said it was unlocked for T-Mobile and I was wondering if I will have to get it unlocked again if I root the phone.

Nah. If it's been flashed to MetroPCS the MEID/ESN will be registered with them and not Sprint. It'll need to be flashed back to Sprint, if this is even possible. Better off asking that question in the EVO Q&A section
It is possible to flash it back to sprint.

Only the S3 version of the OneS is sold in India.
There is at least one member from India in these forums who had his S4 OneS shipped from the UK.

I have one s working in India. It is from T-Mobile as well. Just ensure that it is carrier unlocked for world wide use. Also you need to check with Vodafone to find what it takes to get a micro sim card. I am able to receive ota updates from T-Mobile while I use it on idea.
