i dont know.
how i check?
i did not change phone. phone is like new.
thank you

I got htc kernal
I got what phone come with
I didnt change

sorry i write again.
i think maybe because my english you dont understand problem.
i use "google-translate" to write problem in hebrew:
"The problem is this: occasionally popping Security Update Notification - Important information device. I confirm the update, but unfortunately soon after the phone re-booted, and I get an error (probably), which is actually a triangle in which an exclamation mark next to a painting of "Adnroaid" blue (sad). If I take out the battery and put it back, the phone returns to normal, meaning that it works.
I just want to understand why I can not make updates? It is important to note that the phone exactly the same condition as he left the box (in terms of software and hardware), ie make no changes to the phone, and have never downloaded a software update, or an alternative operating system.
- Thanks so much for the help, and sorry for the unclear language."

Take your SD card out and remove any file named pmg58img using SD adapter and PC. It should then boot.
Sent from my HTC Pyramid using xda premium

I tryed:
no file pmg58img in sd card

At this point I would perform a factory reset and see if it works (of course you will lose data and have to set it again from the beginning).

I did factory reset :-(
same problem again happen :-(

Sorry but are you sure this is an untouched phone? with stock rom and everything?
is it a new or second hand device?
What is your sofware number?
maybe you can download and run an RUU.exe (Rom Upgrade Utility)
Because all this sounds so strange

thank you so much

Since the phone is new and untouch as you said... I think its a good idea to bring it back to where you bought it and ask them what's going on... You should still be able to change it if there is something wrong with it...
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4g with Beats Audio

Download This RUU and run from pc while the telephone is USB plugged.
This should solve the problem because is an updated software of what you have.
What is strange is hebrew language of your phone because according to software number it should be an European one.
Hit thanks button if it helped

[Q] 2 Inspire Questions.

Ok so i have the htc inspire and i tried to root it today, which didnt work out lol... but anywase whenever i try to play music or do anything that involves sound on the phone it dosnt work? i have a feeling that it may be a kernel issue but im not sure... my kernel is 2.6.32.2d now i dont know what the stock kernal is but im pretty sure this isnt it, so if you guys know anything about this or what has happened to my phone please tell me... thanks
It might help if you state what method you used to try to root, how far you got, and why it failed.

You need to elaborate a little more if you want some assistance.
Do you have s-Off?
What is your baseband number? That will indicate what radio you have and will give others an idea of where in the process you are.
Assuming you made it far enough in the process to get s-Off, you can just flash the ota stock ROM by attn1, which will have the OTA radio in it, if it turns out you are on the downgraded ROM/radio.
If you have anything other than the stock kernel/ROM on your phone, then the rooting was at least partially successful. You probably just need to get clockworkmod recovery installed correctly so you can install custom roms.

Yup, that looks like the downgraded radio the hack kit leaves you with.
S-Off basically means you can flash stuff. "Security off"
So as Gene said, you're partially through the process. You just need to get a good ROM/radio on.

You have an incorrect root, that happened to me. You need finish all the steps, when i did the root guide the software failed and the sound dissapeared. After push the software (to get root) and the root was successful, i recovered the sound.

ok man i just want to get my phone back to stock... is there a way that i could just do a FULL wipe of the device? ive tried doing it through the hboot way and going through the settings and doing the restore but both were unsuccesful
Just flash it eith rom i had same problem i use attn1 method i flashed with rom coredroid and all is fine
htc desire hd/inspire
Now that you are basically rooted there is not necessarily an easy way to get back to plain stock.
It can take a while for the average user I believe using the s on tool... but considering I do not have all of the info I will let someone else answer your question in full.

Go back to h boot, if it says "Ship s-off on the very top of the screen you should be all set. Make sure clockworkmod is installed. if not download rom manager from market and flash cwm through rom manager. Next go to the development form and find attn1's stock OTA update with radio. Download the file to your computer, place it on the root of your sd card. Make sure the file is named PD98IMG.zip, turn off phone and boot into h boot, when it says apply update? Press vol up and watch the magic happen. Also make sure there is no other files named PD98IMG.zip on your sd card as this will cause trouble. You will still be rooted with s-off but that's ok, I mean your were already trying to root, just cause you lost sound doesn't mean you should be afraid of rooting. Once you fix your problem and get a good handle on things, you'll be in love!

No, you can not. Because the radio isn't updated, you have the half of the steps.
You need finish all the steps of the root guide to have root and the sound working.

[Q] Someone can upload a Nandroid Backup for me, please?

Hi, my phone is sort of in a coma right and I think that only a Nandroid Restore can save it right now.
Can someone upload for me a Nandroid Backup? So I can restore my Sensation 4G ? (Tmobile) ?
Thank you

Yes, right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1556926
Sorry
I'd be surprised if anyone will upload a backup for you. Nandroid takes a complete image of the device and as such is likely to contain all sorts of personal data.
I read your thread hand will try to help. Am i right to think that so far you have:
s-off?
SuperCID?
3.30 firmware?
Non-booting from but access to bootloader and fastboot?
Can you also reach recovery, and what is your hboot version as of now?

It sounds like you've either got the incorrect firmware, or ROM, or it could be just incorrect check sums.
To save on re-writing everything that's been done thousands of times before, I'm going to provide this link to Android Revolution HD.
It describes how to do everything step by step. If you want to start from a clean base, just boot in to recovery, and wipe everything, switch it to USB mode, load your files on, and start flashing from scratch.
Remember, to make a nandroid every time you flash something new if you're unsure about anything. It's time consuming, but saves you a lot of time in the long run. I found out the hard way.
If you have any more problems, feel free to PM me, and I'll reply usually pretty quickly.

Agreed. SuperCID and s-off means you can run any ruu. If it doesn't run, something is stopping it:
Try the stock European ruu. Remove other software from PC that might sync with phone (HTC sync, double twist etc.) Check AV/firewall is not blocking ruu. Run ruu as administrator on your machine.

I don't have any Antivirus / Firewall and HTc Drivers are the only drivers that I installed (new windows set up).
Did u delet the pg58IMG.zip from sdcard, then boot into bootloader and run ruu?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
Yes, I did.
It says " Verifying info on your Android Phone, please wait " and then a Window pop up saying that the phone is not plugged in
1. Why 2 threads on the same thing?
2. I assume you have the drivers installed on your PC?
3. Is your phone a TMOUS 4G Sensation?
1/ They're not the same, actually
2/ Yes, I do have the drivers
3/ Yes, TMO 4G Sensation
I assume you're S-OFF with Super CID? If so...
1. Download this RUU:
http://www.4shared.com/file/Ww4udPO-/RUU_Pyramid_TMOUS_1505311_Radi.html
2. Download the guide attached to this post
3. Follow the guide, it may work for you
If the phone is still not working after flashing the right RUU then you'll need to send it back
Thanks for your answer, Eddy
GOOD NEWS, I was able to run the Android Revolution HD Rom by downgrading to the 3.12 Firmware. But I still can't run the Virtuous Inquisition Rom (My favorite so far )
I'll see if I'll be able to run it in the next updates
Thanks y'all for your help ! I really appreciate it
An a Thanks button for everyone ^_^
You need the 3.32 FW to run that ROM

Rooted HTC sensation not bricked but epic fail!

Hey guys I'm pretty new to rooting. I unlocked and went through root process using hasoon2000 all in one that I downloaded here. Long story short phone worked fine , the I couldn't get it to get past boot screen....boots loops I think!?!?!? To cut to the chase. I now can only access twrp. It will not let me reboot because it say I have no os. I did do a tiatium backup but can only see those files on my pc when I mount through twrp. Also if it helps looks like it is in s-on. This is my buddy's phone....... I'm stoked its not bricked but I have no clue how to fix it. PLEASE HELP!

I'm so thankful for the response! Ok from the. Start used the hadoon2000 all in one did the unlock through htcdev. So how I must have missed a step because s-on is on. Booted phone worked went in re started debugging and the installed superuser through twrp. Phone booted and worked. Installed Rom toolbox, beats audio hack, busy box, titanium. Did a sys, and app backup. Went ahead and went through the beats hack installed and rebooted. Phone turned on as normal. Then went in Rom toolbox changed font and boot animation. Rebooted and then wouldn't boot past t mobile image. Ok so this is where I think I blew it. Did battery pull, went into bootloader. Went into twrp. looked for a restore nothing titanium back up folder empty on phone but found when mounted to pc. Wiped catch wiped dalvic, now the stupid wiped the system.. now can't get out of Twrp says "are you sure you want to reboot no os found" I'm really hoping this is fixable

Is that what you were running?
If you has ICS, the radio should be 11.22 or something close to that.

Beyond Screwed

So I gave my friend my phone and she messed with the pattern till it asked for my google credentials but because my Wi-Fi isn't on and I turn my data off for preserving reasons.. I can't do anything.
Before this I rooted my phone but relocked it so I have "Security Warning, Relocked & Tampered" at bootloader.. I also had a custom recovery which I removed so now I can't do hard reset from bootloader or recovery..
My question is.. Is there anything I can use at this point to start my phone over or give me access to remove the password

Comes down too what he means by "I also had a custom recovery which I removed" since you can't remove it but for factory reset to work you need stock recovery.

Try this site: http://www.htcruu.com/?dir=Ville
Maybe it is on there?
I misread. ignore.
Well because my HTC One S is already 1.84 the ROGERS one (1.70) won't work
I need to find a higher version from Rogers/Fido or I don't know what else to do at this point..

What do you mean by "I also had a custom recovery which I removed" ?
What recovery is on the phone now?
Is USB debugging on?
Why can't you unlock it again?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsFDkYQ0S8c
Does this not work?
I'm not on a stock recovery and I don't remember for certain if this option is available on the One S, but I don't see why it wouldn't
Can't you just connect it to computer...
Unlock bootloader again
Flash recovery, root etc
Then full wipe factory reset?
Or install a rom and do full wipe that will clear the lock thing too

I've tried the system menu before but all I get is the red warning text and then I'm back at the system menu with no change

But how did you "uninstall" it. Some recovery should be in place. If it's the stock one factory reset will clear it. If it's custom you can boot into it.

You don't need USB debugging enabled to unlock your bootloader. Everything is done in fastboot. Not even directions from HTCdev say anything about USB debugging.
Why the hell did u take off usb Debug? Ur only choice will be to run ruu as mentioned above. Pm "football"
Tell him what happened and give him this information
1) what carrier your on
2) what radio your on (either that or hboot forgot which)
3) your country
You may have to pay a little fee if you do might as well it'll revive your phone

I have a Fido phone. You can use the 1.70 Rogers RUU if you downgrade your HBOOT first. I have done this successfully a few times now! :good:

[Q] Display problem I think ?

Hello
So I have this strange problem. Sometimes (randomly) my Sensation 4g just blacksout but hardware keys like home, menu, back are active and I can unlock the phone and if I have security code I can enter it. But it doesnt show any picture only. Its just black, but the touch is active. So if I can i can dial or write but dont see anything. It happens randomly and then after some time it randomly turns on normal and its ok So any ideas ?>
Have you tried flashing other ROM and see if problem still persists?

Well I read all the thread and it says that can not work on HBOOT 1.27 but some say that it will work as long I have supercid. Its just I put the file in the SD root folder and boot into bootloader and it will scan automaticaly ? and what if it happens what other ppl say ? that there is no option to back and i have to pull out the battery. isnt this going to reset it ?
