Hey!
I have a really bad issue on my Acer Phone. I've rooted it today. I had then problems with BusyBox. I deinstalled BusyBox right now and make a HardReset. And now, the Touchscreen doesnt work. Before I become this problem, i've installed Clockworkmod Recovery. The Recovery is working. The Phone boots normally but I cant touch.
What can be the problem? Can I fix the issue with a new Rom? Where can I find a Rom to flash from SD????
Hopefully anyone can help me...

Can you access fastboot? may be your best bet to just reflash all the stock imgs for system and recovery/stock rom... I believe when you rooted then did a battery pull, somehow your rom messed up.
Hope I am able to help! It is awesome when someone hits the thanks button!

Thanks for answer. How can I access the Fastboot? Is it [Power]+[Vol -]&[Vol +]? Where can I get the Stock Rom? I found yesterday one, but it doesnt match my actually Buildnumber. The Updatetool says that the my Buildnumber must be one with GEN1 or TIM or something. My Buildnumber ends with VFDE.

Press this button combination: Vol. Up + Volume Down + Power Button. Then as soon as the red led turns on let go of the volume down button and you are Fastboot mode.
It should look like this...

As far as the stock rom/recovery i will do some searching today if you can access fastboot.
Sent from my DROID3 using Tapatalk
Yes, I can enter FastBoot! =) Recovery and HardReset is not working. And at Bootsplash it is freezing.
I hope I have no Brick. -.-
.::btw::.
I flasehd today Recovery-image von Malez
If you have fastboot, you should be able to flash stock recovery and rom. Which should fix your phone. I will look for files in a few. You should also do some searching.

it is absolutely necessary to flash the original rom and recovery? is it to poosible with custom rom like LiquidNext?
I guess it would be worth a try....

I can't find any Stock Recovery or Stock Rom. -.-
At the moment I download LiquidNext Rom and hope that the update workx with FastBoot. Also I try to find a Updatetool for this.
Thanks for your help and time!!!
//1. EDIT//
I have no access to Recovery Mode
//2. EDIT//
The LiquidNext Rom doesnt work for me.
A error message would appear:
Code:
E:Error in /sdcard/LiquidNext_1.9.2.zip (Status 0)
I get the same Message when I try this Wipetool:
New G2x wipe tool
So you tried installing a custom recovery? You should try flashing that first from fastboot if so. If you do, i believe I know how to flash the new recovery from fastboot. I think we can get it working again.

From ACER DownloadCenter (Smartphone > Liquid > Liquid Mini > OS) I download the OS Upgrade to Gingerbread 2.3.5 and the Update for this Upgrade. I hope that this one workx with adb-Flash!

The downloaded File from Acer is an executable EUU, not a Image zip.
That wont work.... you would put that on you sd card(if you have one). Then enter stock recovery. From there it would update.

I tried to flash MalezRecovery but he says that his Recovery don't workx on LiquidMini. Is there any other Recovery? Can I use Clockworkmod or 4ext Recovery?
I do not understand why there are almost no custom roms for LiquidMini. I like this Phone, but StockRom is very stuffy

Interesting Thread, did not know, that it is possible to have CWM on Acer Liquid Mini. I'd love to install it, for backup and restore purposes. What version of CWM have you installed and is it working in the meantime as expected or you can't still access it?
And you flashed it with fastboot?
Thanks for the help

Greetings;
Have you solved your problem with your Acer Liquid Mini e310?
By the way i see; you are trying to install a ROM that is "NOT FOR YOUR DEVICE".
You have a Acer Liquid Mini e310; and the file is called "LiquidNext"...
In short words: It's a file for meant for Liquid Next (Other Device).
Best Regards;
Dnamix

Right 1st off I have been looking into this for a few weeks now and have searched but I just want to be sure before I do actually do anything and potentially damage my phone. Also I did used to flash custom rims on my desire so I'm not completely new to this but am by no means a pro at it.
I have s-off using revolutionary but that's as far as I've gone and I didn't install custom recovery due to wanting to install the official ics update which is what I'm running now.
1st question is are there any preferred recoveries? I know on my desire there were a few to choose from which could affect being able to install certain Roms and also are there any issues using recovery now that I've update to ics?
2nd how would I go about flashing it? I read about downloading it to root of sd and flashing from stock recovery.
3rd I've seen that I apparently don't need root as a custom Rom comes pre rooted?
4th will the whole flashin a Rom proceedure be the same as what I'm used to e.g. boot into recovery backup current rom, wipe when needs then flash Rom and reboot. Also I've read about a super wipe what is this?
I think ill he ok with all this but I love this phone and don't want to cause any damage to it.
Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou

1. CWM or 4ext. Many prefer 4ext for the touch interface and additional options. You can download an updater for this from market, it will install it for you.
2. CWM Recovery can be flashed via the boot loader, it's exactly like updating the boot loader on your desire. You will also use this method to update your firmware - this is different to desire, it updates various parts including radio.
3&4 yes the same!

I would suggest 4EXT touch for recovery over ClockworkMod. There has been numerous reported cases in XDA threads with ROM installation issues using CWM. I myself have had issues with CWM and only recently changed to 4EXT recovery.
As for superwipe, have a look at this link.

Thank for all your help guys. Ok so looks like ext4 is the way to go but how do I go about installing it? I am not not rooted yet only have s-off.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
You cannot root if you don't install a custom recovery first.
You can download 4EXT recovery in PG58IMG from Here
Rename it only PG58IMG and put on the root of your sd card.
Reboot to bootloader (volume down + power button), at prompt if you want to update, say yes by pushing volume up.
let do its things and when finished push power button to reboot.
Delete PG58IMG from sd card when done (or each time you reboot bootloader it will ask to update).
Once installed, flash this zip from 4EXT recovery.
Then download from the market superuser and busybox to get root.
Hope it helps. Hit thanks if it did
thanks again for your help. just follwed as you said but when i go into bootloader it checks for file then say model id incorrect press power to reboot?

What is your model id?
you can dowload terminal emulator from market and give this command "getprop ro.mid" (without quotes). This will give your model id. Inside the PG58IMG that you downloaded ther is android-info file and there you can change the mid accordingly.
think i might of sorted it. model i.d. walk pg5813001.
just wainting on it rebooting now, delete the file then boot recovery check its worked. make a backup and flash the su file. hopefully.

They recomend to downgrade to a second edition trough a personalize kernel and install with ODIN. This kernel has to locate in XDA forum as a zip file like CF-Root-XXX bla-bla...to install later. I checked and is confused due to a several options. that the point of the help I need from you.

Well right now you're on the old baseband, so make sure to flash a baseband fix if you install anything from 2.3 or up, you can download the fix here: http://www.mediafire.com/?tjyibxdbqyyrmwz make sure to install the fix every time you install a new rom.
As for the most stable rom, you'll have to try them and see which one you like. That being said, I've heard nothing but good things about oxygen rom.

You don't have to upgrade the baseband, he just recommends it because the new baseband gives better reception, if you use the baseband fix you can use any rom you like. If you do want to upgrade the baseband though, just use lg's official gingerbread updater, it's the safest way.

You can find boot.img inside the ROM zip file

Htc One S bricked
Hi im relatively new at rooting and am currently experiencing issues with a bricked device.
i have two htc one s devices
my personal one is running cm10 ville with clockwork touch recovery and is working perfectly
however the second one i was using the same exact files.

its in a constant bootloop.
i can get back to my recovery just fine and get to the fastboot in the phone fine
i cleared my cache
wiped my data and wiped the dalvik cache all perfectly fine when i try to flash the cm10 official rom back on it cannot mount the sd card
i would try to install a different recovery and try again maybe using viper one s
but i cannot get the phone to power on
it doesnt showup on the computer when it is plugged in while in fastboot
when i try the cmd fastboot flash recovery it says waiting for device
any advice. this is not my own phone so i need it repaired pretty quickly.
any helpful information would be much appreciated.

Hello,
I recently unlocked my bootloader and installed the CWM recovery to install custom kernels for overclocking (my htc one mini is not rooted). So I went for the JmzM4_Kernel-09-4-13. And since I installed it I am in a F$%&/&%$ reboot loop. I already wiped the cache and dalvik cache twice but it doesn't help. I searched already for answers on google but I didn't find what needed, so I landed here.
Hope somebody can help me to get out of this reboot loop and get a normal smartphone again
Thank you for your attention

Did you flash the boot.img using flashboot from the kernel zip? also are you using jelly bean 4.2.2? because that's what it was built for.
Also there are no options to over clock using this kernel...

Yes I did flash the boot.img with flashboot, but I have android 4.3 and sense 5.5 on it. Is that maybe the problem?
A friend of me said that if I flash an incompatible kernel on my device, it would be dead. Is that true? I don't think so because I still have acess to the bootloader and CWM recovery .
shouldn't brick your phone, but your gonna need to flash a kernel compatible with 4.3. There isn't one in this forum, but if you ask one of the rom devs on here really nicely they may provide a compatible kernel from one of their rom releases. Else your gonna have to re flash your rom..

there are NO 4.3 kernels as of yet. I'm saying you need ask a dev to make you one,but I doubt they'll do it unless you ask really really nicely. Your most likely going to have to flash a whole rom..
AND NO HTC ONE AND HTC ONE MINI A VERY DIFFERENT. DO NOT USE ANY KERNEL UNLESS IT'S MADE FOR THE ONE MINI. OR YOU MAY BRICK YOUR PHONE.

Personally I would only recommend the one I am currently using, as I haven't tried any others except WWE Stock 4.2.2 by trigger, which is the base of what I'm using, which is Magio R3 with the JMZ Kernel. I used the guide below which worked without problems. BUT BEFORE YOU DO MAYBE MAKE A POST ABOUT CHANGING FROM 4.3 TO 4.2.2 JUST BECAUSE I AM NO EXPERT, AND I'M UNSURE IF THERE COULD BE ISSUES WITH THIS? THOUGH I THINK IT SHOULD BE FINE.
Else stick with the 4.3 Stock ROM by Trigger though this is untested by me. Also skip the kernel installation if using the 4.3 ROM.
THE GUIDE:
Ecstacy42 said:
Don't do it if you don't feel comfortable.
1. Unlock your bootloader here. Select "All Other Supported Models" and follow the instructions.
2. Download the Rom, Kernel, and a recovery, verify the MD5 checksums, and then copy the rom and kernel zips to your internal SD card. I'd recommend one of the WWE versions as they don't have a lot of the AT&T bloat.
3. Boot into the bootloader (it says how in the guide showing you how to unlock your bootloader)
4. Select fastboot, plug your phone into your computer.
5. Type "fastboot devices" to make sure it's connected, then type "fastboot flash recovery whateverrecoveryyouused.img".
6. Boot into recovery. Make a backup. Then wipe system, data, cache, and dalvik cache.
7. Reboot into fastboot, then type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" using the boot.img from the Rom you downloaded.
8. Reboot into recovery and install the rom zip using TWRP/ClockworkMod.
9. Reboot into fastboot and type "fastboot flash boot boot.img" using the boot.img from the kernel.
10. Reboot into recovery and flash the kernal zip.
11. Start up your phone, if you flashed a DeOdexed Rom it'll take a little while to boot up.
I'm not sure if you have to flash the boot.img from the rom, then flash it, then flash the boot.img from the kernel and then flash it, but it's best to follow the directions and avoid potentially causing problems.

And is this Magio r3 rom compatible with the htc on mini? On the website it is shown that it is for htc one XL. And it also says that the recovery has to be the TWRP recovery and I have the CWM recovery.

And is this Magio r3 rom compatible with the htc on mini? On the website it is shown that it is for htc one XL. And it also says that the recovery has to be the TWRP recovery and I have the CWM recovery.
Thank you for your answer. :good:

Everything you need is here on the XDA, "HTC One mini" section. ONLY USE ROMS WHICH ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR THE "ONE MINI". NO OTHER. EVER.
Just use this one it's 4.3 stock. You flash it as a ZIP from either CWM or TWRP.

And read the OP!
Also once this is working. DON'T FLASH YOUR PHONE EVER AGAIN. YOU CLEARLY HAVEN'T READ UP ENOUGH AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR PHONE. No offense but do you really want a $500 paper weight?

But how do I flash the odex rom?
I already tried to flash the whole zip file with fastboot, but the file is too big. the cmd says Failed(remote:data lenght is too large).
So how do I bring this rom to recovery from my computer?
Thank you for your answer.

But How do I flash my rom.zip? I cannot flash it from fastboot because it shows an error message in the cmd : Failed(remote: data length is too high). How do I get this $%&%&## file on my recovery or how do I flash it directly from my computer. I already searched the web on how do I do this. But no detailed or specific answer to my problem.
Please explain it to me step by step again :good:

You need to "push" the zip to your internal memory. Put your zip in your ADB fastboot folder on your computer. Then use command "adb push romname.zip /mnt/sdcard/". Then install the zip from cwm or twrp recovery. And flash the boot.img from zip with ADB fastboot...

I tried adb push but the cmd didn't reconize it. It says (from german, I try to translate it) : the order adb push is either wrong writen or it couldn't be found. So how do I use or reactivate adb push ? or maybe there is another way to push the file in the htc ( for example with a program ).
Thanks in advance

Does the command "ADB devices" without the "" show your device listed?
