I just flashed to Pinnacle 1.3( was on Fasty III before ) and I've noticed that with Gingerbread Roms, i just cant seem to be able to Mount the File system on my Windows 7 pc.
Using USB-Debugging mode, i connect my Capy to my pc and then mount the file system, but it doesnt show up in my PC
i also tried directly mounting it as Mass Storage, again not showing up!
Tried all USB Ports, Different Cable etc etc
Weird thing is, when i flash back to Stock using Odin 1 click, ie when im on JF6, I am able to Mount the File system!!!
Another Weird thing is, that i am able to Mount my phone ( with Pinnacle or Fasty) on my friends PC, by installing the same drivers that i have for my PC
whats Wrong? I have also uninstalled all drivers and re installed them, used driver cleaners etc
Never had that problem on win 7. Don't know what to tell you.
Are you using the correct drivers?
Yea!! i am...i really dont know whats the problem! and i dont wanna format the whole thing!
Im using the drivers mentioned in the Sticky Threads...ODIN 1 click thread to be precise

When you say you tried another cable, do you mean another SAMSUNG cable or something else? The problem you describe is very often attributable to the cable. The Samsung cable that came with my Cappy worked just fine with my old computer (PowerMac G5), but refused to work with my new iMac.
I tried also using a RocketFish micro USB cable, and had zero luck with that.
After much screwing around and swearing, I tried using my wife's MOTOROLA cable, and the computer recognized the phone with that.
I'm nothing close to an expert on electronics, but I suspect it has something to do with voltages on different computers.
I suggest trying to get your hands on a Motorola cable and seeing if that fixes it. Perhaps the Gingerbread ROMs have different voltage settings? Dunno...but try a Motorola cable.
hmmmm, i just tried a micro usb cable from a blackberry....ill try out the Motorola one....thanks for the suggestion

You may have another option, too...at least for transferring files. I've been using an app called WiFi File Explorer PRO for several weeks, and I love it. You can connect to the phone via WiFi (if you have it available) and transfer files back and forth just using a web browser on your computer.

Since I started using this app, I haven't needed to futz with a cable at all. It obviously won't help you with Odin, Heimdall, or any one-click utilities that require you to be connected via USB, but it will help you get files on your phone for flashing with CWM.
Not sure if it's an option for you, but it might help alleviate some of your issue.
Great Suggestion and seems very handy...thanks a lot!
How can I connect my TF101 to my Macbook now? It doesnt work, even with the apposite application on the Mac (Android File Transfer).
I'm running Revolver4, but it was the same on stock. Tried with and without Debug USB.
Thank you in advance!
Update: it doesnt connect with my Windows partition too, so I cannot copy an other ROM (I havent got dock nor an SD card).
One thing I dont understand: what should be the difference between Debug USB on/off? Shouldn't one be able to view TF101's files with Debug USB disabled too?
im using samsung galaxy wonder with cyanogenmod9 build 6. i want to know how to transfer file from pc to my phone. when i plug my phone to the pc using usb cable and set my phone to MTP mode i can detect it but when i start to copy files from my pc to my device it is not working.

have you istalled the samsung driver on your pc?
I have an older pc with no internet access that I want to root my moto g on. I plugged the phone in and the pc pooped up stuff saying it needed top install drivers. I couldn't get the phone to show up as a usb drive to get the drivers I had dled on the phone onto the pc. How can I get the drivers from the phone to the pc without the drivers being already installed? Can I dl an app that turns the phone into a generic usb drive or what? I was thinking of getting an usb otg and flash drive and copying the files to that then plugging into pc but I would hope for a free alternative if possible. I'm pretty broke. Also does anyone have any tips or advice on how to root/unlock broader of motto g x1034? I have the wind mobile Canadian version.
I'm using a windows xp pc with no internet.
So how do I get drivers onto pc with no internet
How do I root xt1034 moto g
What's the best/fastest rom to run on this phone
Where do I read to learn how to develop my own room?
What's a modified recovery? Can that help me root my phone without pc?
What have I missed?

Have you tried connecting the phone in mass storage mode?
Now, to responds your answers in order:
So how do I get drivers onto pc with no interne
A: when you plug your phone it asks you the mode, instead of MTP switch to USB Mass Storage in the notification bar or in Settings>Storing (?)>USB Connection>USB Mass Storage.
How do I root xt1034 moto g
A: Look here ithe Q8.
What's the best/fastest rom to run on this phone
A: Look here. Sorry.
Where do I read to learn how to develop my own room?
It depends, first you need to own a room, is not enough to have a room with your name on it, you need to OWN it, make it a extension of you, decorate it with pictures of YOU... owning things with your picture on it, very empowering thing, right there. Then you develope it with good taste and decorations.
If you took a picture of it and want to develope it, you can do that in a red light or a very dark room.
You can join in a architect or a design school to start developing rooms, not only your own.
If you are referring to a ROM, you need a little background in programming and compiling source code, preferably in linux. If you'd like to experiment the basics, you can try to compile Cyanogenmod, following the guide in the wiki.
What's a modified recovery? Can that help me root my phone without pc?
a modified recovery is a recovery that's been altered from its original form.
nothing can help you to root your phone without a pc, adb and the drivers.
for a better understanding of what is a recovery, a custom recovery or other strange, make-up words and technobabble, read this.
Also, depending on the method used, you don't need to touch the recovery for rooting. But the easiest (according to me) is
