Hello,
I'm just flashed the RebelROM and my calender is not syncing. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Also, can someone tell me the meaning of the pull notification toggle?
I know there's WiFi, Bluetooth, sound on/off but I don't know the rest. Thanks.
My calendar did not sync either.

I don't use the calendar so it's a non-issue for me, but when I tried to sync it I got the error too
My calender doesn't sync either. I think he may fix it with the update, he said he wanted to know about bugs and that was one of them.

bpear96 just posted an update not to long ago that fixed the calendar issue but he still is fixing things with the overall theming issues.
I have seen posts that say to just wipe everything and install the rom again. But i have also seen that you can just update to beta3 and you will get rid of the calendar issue. Although beta3 is messed up with the notification bar.

I wiped and reinstalled, didn't work for me. Will wait for beta 4 cause yeah beta 3 fixed the calendar issue but the other theme related issues it presented isn't worth it for me to flash it. I don't use the calendar feature anyway but would like to know I could if I chose.

Ever since the 3.1 update my Gmail notifications have stopped working. Yes the Notifications are turned on under the Quick settings. I have the proper notification sound. Just cant figure out why it has stopped working. Anyone else know/had this happen?
Go into settings, manage apps. Find the Gmail app, and open it. Click on clear cache and clear data. Ignore the warnings. Restart Gmail and you should be good to go. This often happens after loading a new ROM or kernel.

yup that did the trick. I should have thought of that. Thanks!!!
Hello,
I have the One S since one week and since monday there are Problems with the Sense Calendar.
At the first days I had the Lockscreen with activity-widgets. So with die Informations about missed calles, actuall dates, mails and so on.
With some more dates in a day it begans to flickering. And then I recognized that also the widget with the dates-overview crashs sometimes.
I'm using the calendar with Google and there are two different calendars registered. When I'm using only one calendar in that widget it is a little bit more stable. But especially when the widget updates to the next day it crashs... And this crash let crash the hole homescreen...
I already deleted calendar-cache - no change.
Does anyone can confirm that bug? I thing i could reinstall my One S... But it is absolutly fresh, new and was hard personalized. I don't want to do that work again with a new phone.
Any ideas?
I had same problem with calandar widget. I removed it, then added to a different empty screen. Removed that, then put it back on original screen. The problem disappeared. Probably nothing to do with what I did though! Still get the flickering on lock screen though.

Hmm, i check this out. Maybe it helps... Sometimes strange problems have strange fixes. And hopefully the lockscreen-problem get fixed with an update in the next days.
Am interested to know if it does work

Seems that it works for the moment. The widget is still alive after "day-change" with two included calendars...
But I keep an eye on it the next days - Wednesday my studies goes on...
I don't see a response to a similar post and can't seem to dig up much through searching, so hoping someone might know. I just installed CleanROM (latest version). I actually wiped everything and tried re-installing with the stock kernel and still see force closes when trying to access the customized settings. It wouldn't be such a big deal, except I hate the ASUS notification bar and I can't turn off the auto brightness. Has anyone dealt with this? Does anyone know a solution?

install the 2.6.1 patch. it fixes this issue. if that doesn't work then reinstall and make sure to select asus sync in aroma. turns out it is required for the customized settings.
Thanks! In my excitement I overlooked the patch. It's working now!
Solved! It looks like the culprit was the Smooth Calendar widget...

I've had a really bizarre problem that started a couple of days ago. At that time I was rooted on the stock ICS. The first thing I noticed was that the keyboards would stop working. They'd come up, but no matter where I tried using it - GMail, Dolphin, Talk, etc - no text would be entered. The kayboard keys would flash and the autocorrect fields would populate as if I was typing normally though. This happened with both the latest Swype beta and the stock touch input. The only fix was a reboot which would help for a little while.
The other issue was the clocks not syncing up. The clock widget on my homescreen would show the current correct time, but the clock in the notification bar would be stuck on any given time for up to hours.
Here's the weird part. These issues survived a data and cache wipe and the install of a different rom. I'm now using ViperS 1.6.0. Could this possibly be a hardware problem? Nothing unusual happened between it working fine and the problem starting. No new apps, no water exposure or drops, etc... The closest thing to a cause I can think of is that some app that I had and reinstalled today was updated a couple of days ago and the new version is doing it...
Any other ideas?
Hi guys,
I have a huge problem with gmail - running current nightlies of Cyanogenmod 11 and the latest version of Gmail:
Gmail is not respecting any notification settings whatsoever. I have disabled every single vibration/sound notification in Gmail, have disabled "vibrate for every notification" in CM settings - but Gmail doesn't care: Every notification I get from Gmail not only rings a sound but the phone is also vibrating which is incredibly annoying. I have triple checked my settings, deleted app data, reinstalled gmail completely - nope, it's still vibrating. There is no other app with this problem - it is only gmail that vibrates like there is no tomorrow.
Anyone got an idea on how to fix this?

Yeah, I suspected as much - hoped that anyone got this problem and knew a fix without doing a wipe. I'll let you know how it works out.
Edit: Jup, that did the trick. Thanks again
