What were the .apk's named. I'm unzipping a bunch of Sense 4.0 Roms looking for the car app/car mode app and can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

this automotive car dock app would be nice on 3.6
so +1 from me.
I tried 3 different versions i found but all FC.
I guess it has to do with lacking the resources from Sense 4.
It also seems not so easy decompiling.
If anybody has an idea I would like to try.

Sorry it won't work. You need to install a Desire HD rom that has all the apps/settings needed.
Anyone willing to try and port this skin to one of the current sense rom released?

I tried Blackboard and blackboard test but thats the one with the blackboard looking scene. I want the transparent theme in the pictures the status bar and expresso launcher look transparent compared to the blackboard which is very dark and looks like a chalkboard

I have been searching this forum for a stock unthemed Rosie.apk with 5x5 app drawer, but couldn´t find one. So I made one for myself, and wanted to share.
What I did: I took the Rosie from Coredroid and changed the themed PNGs to the stock ones.
So credits to Sergio76 and Coredroid team for this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195902
To install:
I always use Root Explorer to push to system/app, set permissions and reboot. Remember to make a copy of your original Rosie.apk
It is also a good idea to install another launcher from market, just in case something goes wrong. It would be hard to fix without a working launcher.
This is tested running ARHD, but it should work on every custom sense rom. But not stock odexed ROM.

Are you getting force close or what is happening? Working fine here.
Edit: it doensnt work if your on stock rom. This apk is optimized in a lot of ways. The org rosie apk is over 12 mb.
im running my scrubbed stock TMOUS rom, appears to not launch rosie and stays on the last frame of my bootanimation...screen powers on and off, soft keys light up...but refuses to proceede...
what are the permissions you set?
i did the usual:
User: R/W, not E
Group: R only
Others: R only
EDIT: haha im thinking the rom must be deodexed for this to work, hence the need for a custom rom :/ lemme kno the permissions, and ill check it out.

I'm not using es explorer, but you need to mount the system as r/w. Don't know if you can do that with es explorer. I always delete it, as I don't use it. But anyone not having root explorer should buy it. You will never regret. It's my favorite App of all. And permissions should be set as every other App. You could also set permission in cwm recovery under advanced.

Then you must have done something wrong. Mount system as r/w copy the rosie to system/app and set permissions like the other apk's in your system. Then reboot.

How can i remove texts from sense 3.5 dock? I am using SenseOmaniac Rom with tweaks..in screenshots there are no texts in dock?
I have a thread somewhere here that contains the edited file. Use the search feature. Title to thread is Transparent Rosie or something like that.

I tried to extract from a Rom, Sense 4.0, the HTC Lava live wallpaper. Using root I copied the explorer sister and I set the permissions giust, I rebooted the phone, and its launch the live wallpaper was installed, but if you put as a background, an error appeared, and the default background of sense 3.6 appared ... can someone help me install this live wallpaper, or it could make for a ported on sense 3.6?

I would hazard a guess that means that he was giving the link to the Rezound version in the hope that somebody would port it to the DS. It often helps to read posts more than once as a lot of the people posting on here don't speak English as their first language.
