I have been searching this forum for a stock unthemed Rosie.apk with 5x5 app drawer, but couldn´t find one. So I made one for myself, and wanted to share.
What I did: I took the Rosie from Coredroid and changed the themed PNGs to the stock ones.

To install:
I always use Root Explorer to push to system/app, set permissions and reboot. Remember to make a copy of your original Rosie.apk
It is also a good idea to install another launcher from market, just in case something goes wrong. It would be hard to fix without a working launcher.
This is tested running ARHD, but it should work on every custom sense rom. But not stock odexed ROM.

Are you getting force close or what is happening? Working fine here.
Edit: it doensnt work if your on stock rom. This apk is optimized in a lot of ways. The org rosie apk is over 12 mb.
im running my scrubbed stock TMOUS rom, appears to not launch rosie and stays on the last frame of my bootanimation...screen powers on and off, soft keys light up...but refuses to proceede...
what are the permissions you set?
i did the usual:
User: R/W, not E
Group: R only
Others: R only
EDIT: haha im thinking the rom must be deodexed for this to work, hence the need for a custom rom :/ lemme kno the permissions, and ill check it out.
i have TONS of apps, and 5x5 would be pretty sweet

I know, the other launchers have that option (4x5), but it would be nice to see it on Sense interface.

I'm not using es explorer, but you need to mount the system as r/w. Don't know if you can do that with es explorer. I always delete it, as I don't use it. But anyone not having root explorer should buy it. You will never regret. It's my favorite App of all. And permissions should be set as every other App. You could also set permission in cwm recovery under advanced.

I found the settings to enable root and mount on es explorer. And got it replaced! Thanks offenberg for the apk

Then you must have done something wrong. Mount system as r/w copy the rosie to system/app and set permissions like the other apk's in your system. Then reboot.

Well, outside of rooting, I'm guessing the only way would be finding an launcher app that looks similar.
Not a lot of options.

Look at the development section. Most roms have screenshots on there, so just find one with the style you're looking for.
of course, make sure to look at the descriptions of the roms, bc they're custom for more thean their looks. A lot of them add and remove features, and they may be things that you don't like. Definitely choose carefully.
Anyways, if you're not rooted, and u've installed the 2.2 update from sprint, you're not going to be able to root at the moment anyways.

If you just want the stock 2.2 launcher go to settings then applications find the rosie app and clear defaults then when you hit the home button select launcher 2 as default. Sense will still be integrated through out the phone but you will have the stock 2.1 launcher
in the latest 2.2 update for Sprint they removed the native launcher all together. I have attached it to this post for you. Enjoy! It also reinstalls the stock backgrounds which were also removed. BTW this does not require root. Just simply install apk file.

In the root of your sd card (I made a folder on the sdcard called Android Apk and put all my apk's in there). Than open up Astro, migrate to the apk and install it.

No the apk I uploaded is the stock 2.2 launcher.
Sense widgets go with the sense launcher which is why you won't find then when using the Android 2.2 launcher.
To install just double tap the apk in astro or another file explorer.

Then you didn't install this apk. Mine says:
Name: com.android.launcher
Label: Launcher
File Version: 2.2
Nowhere on the summary or details tab does it say ADW.
It is clearly the stock android 2.2 launcher.
Is there a reason the phone button doesn't work? I get a message saying there's no app installed on my phone.
So me being a Tmo US user i liked having the 4G icon and it not switching from 3G to H all the time so i pushed the stock tmobile SystemUI.APK via adb and bingo it sits on 4G now

I have attached the Sense 3.5 4G icon's and CM7 4G icons and another one that has the battery mod
Also renamed the files to be more user friendly

No can do. adb push is the way to go. And if you get an error try the adb remount command and use adb push again.
if you do this, you may lose in the options menu shortcuts fast , Because the Rom customs have to add options.
I made the changes the file SystemUI my custom rom (Crystal) and I replace and Works perfectly.
This should really be in the themes and app section, as it isn't really dev related.

No problem here to help. But rember this is suppose to be only installed on Stock builds with no Modes at all in SystemUI or the builds with modes on it will lose it. Like extended quick settings.
This one as the extended quick settings but it contains my modes and icons just replace as much icons as you can with stock ones and it can be flsahed in any rom without loosing extended quick settings.
It also contains the Wifi calling from Tmous .

Now it is if you replace those icons from that zip i added on previous post with extended quick settings for Tmous
That SystemUI on CoreDroid zip also includes animated network icons enjoy it

Actually everything is the same as the non Tmous version except the smalis (Dex file) they have different code on it its nothing about replacing icons at all.
So I figured it would probably be much easier for users to find all the add-ons that I am posting in one place other than trying to search through the entire MIUI thread. So I am going to start maintaining here. Will do various Extended Settings with different options, as well as some other goodies to come. So check in every now and again.

Yeah that is really weird, I have never had someone use one of my ES mods and get stuck at boot screen.

Yeah resizalbe widgets would be a whole new ballpark, like little league trying to play at the Yankee stadium. Not saying it can't be done, just not something I'm use to.

You should be able to use the ones with out the pics animation. New es has yet to be created so I will get them made up when they are posted.

I´m already working to fix it, but I don´t have much time these days and I don´t now where to search the problem.
This could take a few days but I give my best.
Here's a apk for a 100% transparent accuweather widget. It still has the animations cloud, rain, sun and star effects so that's pretty neat. I'm pretty sure you have to be rooted to install this but then again I never tried installing it unrooted. I used ES file Explorer to install the apk into device/system/apps. Make sure to make a copy of your stock accuweather and odex file before you delete them just incase you don't like the transparent widget. Delete the stock accuweather widget and odex then replace it with the transparent accuweather apk in system apps then reboot. After reboot you will have to go back into your widgets and pull the new transparent widget back to a main page. I've never tried having the stock apk installer install the app so I don't think I would try that unless you don't mind resetting up your phone if it doesn't work. Install this at your own risk and I'm not responsible if you mess up your phone.

I'm pretty sure you have to be rooted to install this but then again I never tried installing it unrooted. I used ES file Explorer to install the apk into device/system/apps. Make sure to make a copy of your stock accuweather and odex file before you delete them just incase you don't like the transparent widget. Delete the stock accuweather widget and odex then replace it with the transparent accuweather apk in system apps then reboot. After reboot you will have to go back into your widgets and pull the new transparent widget back to a main page. I've never tried having the stock apk installer install the app so I don't think I would try that unless you don't mind resetting up your phone if it doesn't work. Install this at your own risk and I'm not responsible if you mess up your phone.

could not get this to work....when i paste in the app folder it says 0mb....

I tried this and had errors. I just put everything back and now its fine.

Did you remove the original accuwather2013 apk and odex files?
This zip I believe is for deodexed rom so if your rom still odex,
go to system/app/accuweather2013.odex, delete it.
and delete it
Just in case anyone is wondering. Yes you can flash this with ss. Just don't reboot just power the phone off and back on to avoid issues

The second APK the deviant one doesn't have the border, It says that right in the OP. The night time mode will have a tint to the whole widget though.

I believe it worked on the stock TMO rom, its been along time since I ran a stock rom so I don't really remember. I know it worked on ATT stock rooted odexed rom. Make a copy of your stock accuweather and odex file just in case it doesn't work but Im sure it will work.
