Instructions to use Livesuit--
Firmware upgrade by tool:
Android upgrade process will be formatted with built-in flash memory, if necessary, please backup the data at first.
I. The use of specialized PC terminal upgrade tool
The upgrade file includes: 97F1-D1-H2-H01-N410.20111210.img; the upgrade process is as follows: (in the Windows XP system upgrade for example)
1: Download and unpack the upgrade tool.
2: Download and unpack the upgrade file.
3: To run the upgrade tool in the PC terminal such as LiveSuit.exe [if it is prompted there is need to install the driver, please install FWDN directory driver]. As shown below:

Which ROM should i use? ? I flashed using the Qware one, 97F1-D1-H2-H01-N413.20120314* ROM by Eyeoncomputers.
What difference will it make if i use the one by Fezz Fest.

ok i found out the language problem

Need help getting G-sensor to work
I had battery issues with my funbook & at the service center they changed my motherboard. i didn't realized to make a backup of the new firmware they provided, hence when i install any custom firmware rom i can not get G-Sensor to work. So i decided to be brave & opened the tablet cover, here i found out that the new mother board is "inet-97f rev03 zgc 2012-06-15" while earlier was of Rev02. i have attached a picture below too ..
Can some one help me how can i get the G-sensor to work again ?? Please help .... i dont think i have warranty anymore as i opened up the tablet & even i dont have the original software so

Tools and Files you will need: (TU_Root.zip), (CWM_TU.tar), (Odin.exe)
1. Copy the file named (Tu_root) onto your SD card before we began.
2. Install samsung drivers if you don't have them already: (SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_x86).
3. Open the Odin.exe in the folder : (Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.42), [Run as administrator].
4. Hit the "OPS" button and select the TransformUltra.ops file from the folder (TransformUltra.ops).
5. Select the "One Package" Button and select the CWM_TU.tar from the folder (CWM_TU.tar).
6. Now put your phone into download mode (Vol down + camera + power).
7. Plugin your phone and the yellow COM should light up in the upper left.
(make sure your phones back is removed for quick access to the batter for the following steps!!)
8. As soon as you hit start, remove the battery from the phone.
9. Wait until Odin finishes and shuts off the phone. Pull the battery and take it off the usb so it doesn't reboot.
10. Put the battery back in the phone and boot strait into recovery (by Pressing and holding down the:
(Volume Down + power Button) at the same time.
11. Once in Recovery select "install zip from sdcard".
(note use the volume keys to go up and down the list and the power button to slect the option!)
12. Select "choose zip from sdcard"
13. Locate(tu_root.zip) from where you saved it on youe sd card.
14. Select "yes"
15. Once complete Navigate to where it says "Reboot Device" and Select it.
16. Once booted Install Something from The Google Play store (Install Superuser and update su and busybox).
(if you wish to Un-Root your Device Follow steps 12-16 but instead of installing (tu_root.zip), Install (tu_boost_unroot) or (tu_Sprint_unroot) depending on your carrier.

1. Put the Rom you want onto your SD CARD!

3. Clear Dalvik Cache(in advanced).
4. Clear Cache.
5. select "install zip from sdcard".
6. Select "zip from sdcard".
7. Locate the Rom you wish to install onto your Transform ultra and Select it.
8. Let the Recovery Do its Thing and Reboot your device
Your Done! enjoy your new Rom!:rock:

- Re-Installing the Stock Rom and Recovery - ​

1. Install(if you havn't) Odin and start it up (in administrator mode).
2. put your device into Download Mode (volume down + camera + power buttons) at the same time.
3. plug your Usb cord from your computer Into your phone you will see a yellow box with (COM) light up, thats your phone.
4. Click OPS and select the file (TransformUltra.ops).
5. For either version (Boost / Sprint ) Find the Option called (One Package) you will be using that from now on.
6. Using "One Package" select The corasponding Stock Rom you Downloaded. (and click start).
7. Once Odin is finished, repeat the previous Steps for The (Tu_(carrier name)_stock_recovery.Tar
your phone is now Back to Stock.

Most of the links are now broken since the Dropbox reset too.
I've been trying to find the root files for this phone everywhere and all the links are just broken. I just wanna root it to remove the boost bloatware and boot animation so I can use it as an emulator for old games but no luck finding any of the files.

This is a Custom Rom Based on ICS 30C Rogers

DO the Following without battery
Cathicng ur device in device manager write device manager in Run open device manager proatively switch of ur Phone remove the Battery and then with VOL+ button connect ur phone keep giving tries and tries unill u catch omap then update the driver after that has been done select the driver locally then u have a window for the disk select the have disk and reach for the folder of omap in the u will see a folder named USB Drivers in the u will get Omap_0 click on that your phone is now a omap driver
Now Setting omap Flasher :-
first / install the omapflash install
Second / select and Run..bat in omap
third/ press 2 now it will be waiting or the device
fourth/ without the battery on Connect the phone with Vol+ button till u reach the 5 second wait connect the battery
as soon as possible now it will ask fastboot phon press yes now OMAP is installed on ur phone
Now Setting the Port to com 41:- Essential or else LG flashtool wont work
Connect the Phone as the Same way as before holding Vol+ button
once Done that you will port in it open the port select it go to advanced option of port and change the port
from 5 or 3 to COM 41
THAT'S IT NOW JUST CHILLAX Take a cup of Coffee
LG FLASHTOOL AND LG FLASH GUIED AND 28RTBIG PARTITION
1- Setting up the LG Flash tool:-you will need this file which is very essential it writes firmware to the phone and no issue will arise LGP920_110622.dll: Get it here: http://d-h.st/Fc from Drastic00
2- and the 28RTbigPAT file which ill be available here 28brtlarge.rar--> http://d-h.st/dxl from xbsall
AS THE ROM IS BASED ON ROGERS 30C Big Partcition is Required so now start with the Flashing
after download 28RT large .rar un pack it and place it like i have done here
Now Press the ok Button and wait, now check at the trimmer button that all the 16 ports are selected or not if yes press ok and proceed further and press the arrow button now ur roms are ready to flash Chillax Have the half cup of cofee again .now when the coffee is ove put the battery back to the phone dont power up now holding vol+ connect the phone and dont touch it until it reaches 100%your phone will boot up autmatically and thats it u have ported ICS to ur Rom with Big Partition with 2 gb Phone memory worked out by XBsall
NOW FLASHING THE ROM:-
1) when you have flashed everything until 28BRT big partition You will have the 940 recovery installer
2) as i have seen my rom was not flashing in TWRP so install CWM Recovery
3)Go into Recovery Back up your data in case you want to go back Create a NANDROID backup
4) Wipe Factory, Wide Dalvik , Wipe Cache
5)choose zip from SDCARD
6) Find the UBUNTU.ZIP
7)FLASH the ROM and wait till it install
8)Reboot system now
Now you have installed UBUNTU.zip ENJOY
as i have made this guide and rom for other user and me i feel i will be getting a good response will be Releasing the Rom as soon as it gets uploaded on a good website the release will be Delayed of the Rom for about two Days

[ROM] Best custom roms for Huawei Ascend G610S (G610-U00) with complete install guide

Well, as you know, G610-U00 emotion UI (Official Stock firmware) is annoying, lets try to change the overall UI completely from boring Chinese UI into popular phones' UI.
Before we go, back up everything you need (Apps, Contacts, etc...)
Your phone bootloader must be unlocked to do these processes!!!!
1.Download and install VRoot ENGLISH VERSION on PC and root Your G610-U00 first. (Skip this step if you have already rooted your phone)
2.Download and install Mobile Uncle Tools on your phone.
3.Download TWRP English recovery for G610-U00 first and put it in SD card.
4.Download Rom below that you want to install and put it in SD card.
5.Open Mobile Uncle Tools and "Allow" root Permission and choose "Recovery Update" in Mobile Uncle Tools and then
choose "ydss-g610-u00-twrp-recovery-en-v2.0".
6.Mobile Uncle Tools will show you a message "Reboot into Recovery?" Choose "Yes".
You can also go to recovery mode this way
(1)Power off your phone
(2)Press and "HOLD" volume up button and then power button until you get into RECOVERY MODE.
7.In the TWRP recovery,
(1)Choose "Wipe"
(2)Choose "Advance Wipe"
(3)Choose Dalvik Cache, Cache, Data, System
(4)Pull the Slider below from the left to the right. Now your Phone is clean and ready to install new ROM
(5)Go Back to the menu with Back Key
(6)Choose the button "Install"
(7)Choose the ROM (zip) you have downloaded
(8)Pull the Slider below from the left to the right to install the zip and wait for the installation process
(9)After Installation process choose "Reboot"
ENJOY YOUR NEW ROM!

G610-U00 custom ROMS(All Roms Have Root Access)
Edit : Google drive link for those who can't access Baidu (by a request).
Google App Installer for no google app included roms(Installing using apk, Need root access)
DEFAULT LANGUAGE IS CHINESE, AFTER BOOT UP, GO TO SETTING>LANGUAGE AND INPUT>LANGUAGE>CHANGE TO ENGLISH.

In any case, if you want to go back to official stock firmware,
(1) Download and flash it in TWRP RECOVERY (I'm not sure it would work in CWM but has 70% success rate )
(Without flashing this stock recovery in TWRP, you won't able to flash Official Firmware).
(2)Download extract the downloaded zip and copy the "dload" folder to SD card.
(3)Power off the phone and Press and Hold "Volume Up + Volume Down and Power Button" until you see the install processing cmd lines on your phone. Wait for the process and the phone will reboot automatically after update finish.
Now you are on the official stock firmware.

These custom roms are only for G610-U00.
You should read thoroughly before you do.
Try reflashing official firmware as my instruction.
Dont' download the firmware I provided.
This is only for G610-U00.

RECOVERY and STOCK FIRMWARE
Here is the link to the Stock Firmware that you can flash with SP Flash tools if something goes wrong.

How to Root
1) Download the latest SuperSU zip from http://www.supersu.com and move to external SD card
2) Flash Recovery using SP Flash Tools
3) Boot into Recovery immediately by holding Power and Volume up button on phone (IMPORTANT! Otherwise the phone will replace the custom recovery with the stock recovery)
4) Install the SuperSu zip
5) Reboot

do I have to make a scatter file to flash the recovery? and not use any other scatter file? by the way I am trying to root my blu studio G d790q so I could use a ram extender. I tried to use a scatter file from a stock rom I downloaded from this http://www.needrom.com/download/blu-studio-g-d790q/
--Basically this is what I have done--
-> launched SP tools
-> clicked `choose scatter file` (MT6580_Android_scatter.txt)
-> unchecked everything except recovery and browsed to my downloaded ctr-6.6-d790q.img
-> click download
-> connected my powered off device and while the bar below seems to be 100 it was color red and it says something have changed and I should download a file which I wasn't able to note down
-> I tried pressing down volume + power but it showed me `Factory mode` I guess its not the ctr one so I just chose `reboot`
-> found my date changed to `January 1` after reboot but I fixed it by just calibrating 'automatic time zone' and everything is good again.
Just need some clarification on flashing this recovery so I can root it properly thanks for the help! Cheers!
one more thing isn't it volume up + power to boot to recovery?

Did you make sure to plug in the phone with the battery taken out?

I did remove battery,
This time I also installed unsigned drivers for mtk for windows 10 64bit , also rebooted PC on startup to make it accept unsigned drivers (option 7) redo the process but now it took a bit of time to get that bar at 100 but still red it came up with a failed error
here are the two screenshots for each failed attempt
Upon further playing with it and being patient, i think it looks like somethings wrong with my current stock rom in a way that it is different from the stock scatter file which I am using, I tried downloading mtk droid tools and it showed me this
any ideas?

Sorry for the late reply,
V22 is the stock ROM the D790Q ships with. Unfortunately, the only stock ROM is V16. That may be the issue why you cannot flash the recovery, you have to format all and download the whole V16 stock ROM.
For some reason, you cannot update to V22 from V16 so I was not able to test the recovery on V22.

First off these guys got you backwards that's why your stuff doesn't work.. On BLU its VOL UP to enter recovery.. not VOL DOWN as mr qinagong suggests.
As you can see from your screenshot it says format+download.. Choose the other option and it will work. If SP doesn't work on download choose DLOAD+FORMAT, if it doesn't work on that. choose the opposite. Also battery should be IN ! Ignore the people who say it should be out. Turn off phone, begin download or download + format and wait a second or two and then insert USB cable.

You're right on the volume button part. I will change that. I've always removed the battery, plugged in the usb, and reinserted the battery and it has worked for me.
