SopCast have updated the Beta to version 0.8.6 which now includes ICS support and fix for Black Screen.
Now, you can directly open a sopcast link within browser, no need to copy/paste

update: black screen issue to.

it works great !!! thanks for letting us know about it.
You have to choose a channel from the list, i couldn't find the functionality to type in a custom address.
you also might have to let it buffer for a couple of minutes, but that depends on the channel. i'm using a sgs4g.

All I get is a black screen, audio is fine.

there does seem to be some functionality missing from this version, however as it is still in beta i'm sure they can be forgiven.
As previously states there does not seem to be any option to insert an address or channel id manually, also clicking on a sop link in an android browser produces a message that there is no software installed to handle the function...
I don't know enough about android to know if you can tell a browser (dolphin) for example how to handle the request? Or to send the request to the sopcast app.

works fine for me, took me a while to find the channel with the match on tonight .
If they can provide an channel input window, it'll be perfect.
I was watching the match on my PC, which was oddly 30 seconds behind the Android! As a result I ended up watching it on the phone.
Good resolution, not jerky, Liverpool won!
The images don't do full justice to the quality (think taking stills off video), but they will give a good idea.

after looking a bit deeper in to the app, there is a url entry bar, its under menu - local media - menu -url
This also allows you just to enter the Sopcast channel number also.

Are you entering the address as sop://etc..... ; please try just using a channel number.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work on ICS on both my devices (galaxy s lcd and transformer). Shows black screen with audio.

I had to input the whole URL, just the channel number wouldn't work for me. Still, it's just copy and paste from the browser, so no problem.

Same here on ICS (TF 101).
Working flawlessly on Xperia Mini Pro, though.

+1 no video on TF101 ICS
working fine on SGII running GB
I've just emailed sopcast support about it.
Maybe if enough of us report the issue it can get resolved soon.

Survery Questionnaire app for Android

Dear All,
I want to make an Android mini App that have a small survery questionnaire having some 25 Questions and runs via Android Phone 4.1.2 ( Q-Mobile A600).
When all the data is collected full day so at the end of the day i get all the data on my Laptop when phone connects to WiFi (probabbly via DropBox) in Excel or Access.
I have tried Cellica Database Anywhere and it is Perfectly fine but so much Expensive as i have 20 Devices. Can you please let me know some cheaper way to make a forum and i get data in office easily.

If you're from another territory (mine's Philippines) and you can't sign up for Beta because you're required to input Chinese or US mobile numbers, here's a workaround:
1. Create an Oppo Account based on your territory. I started with email registration then linked my mobile number there
2. Go to systems update and enter beta
3. Sign in with your account, you will receive sms code
4. Input sms and voila! You're in.
By the time I got in, there's 800k/1M slots available.
The instructions there explicitly stated OFFICIAL COLOROS 7 Upgrade. Version I'm downloading now is c.24.
