[Q] Is there any way to determine your battery capacity/health? - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys, as the topic name suggests, is there any way to determine your battery capacity/health? i ask this because my phone (and battery) is well over a year old now and i understand based on my reading that with multiple charge cycles, the battery health will degrade.
this is relevant because of late i have been experiencing increasingly poor battery life (though i think it may also have to do with the recent change over to ICS), i have no idea how people manage to get up to 4 hours of screen on time, as it is i can barely hit 2 hours with light-moderate use, much less playing games/watching videos.
Is there any way for me to check if my stock battery is still good to go? because if not i am considering getting a battery off ebay or buying a replacement battery from samsung.
thanks in advance

I don't know about capacity but you can get your battery health and other info by dialing this on your dialpad:
* # * # 4 6 3 6 # * # *

You can also check batteries voltage using that code. Or do it manually with a battery testing device or multimeter. Fully charge the battery, remove from phone and test voltage. If the voltage is a lot less than the one displayed on the label (I think our batteries have a 3.7V), then most likely your battery is starting to go dead.
Others thing you can do is to check if any app is running in the background (whatsup, skype...etc). Remove unwanted services while not being used: bluetooth, wireless, NFC, etc. And try a different kernel. I've heard Matr1x kernel is one of the best in regards to battery life.

Over the course of a year it is standard for one of these batteries to lose up to around 20% of their charge, unlikely very much more. If you think you've gone from ~5 hours screen time to under 3 hours i'd be looking at a software culprit or seriously dead battery, though the former definitely first as it can effect a new battery much the same.
As always, BetterBatteryStats (get it from xda) and CPUSpy can provide some insight into any software abnormalities causing excess battery drain.

thanks guys, ill try using the multimeter method, been trying all sorts of kernels with the latest cybergrmod ics rom. dont think i see much of a difference between air kernel and matrix (though the latter does give me reboots)

Battery drain in standby issue?

Hi all,
My 6 days old Sensation (Vodafone contract UK) discharge a huge amount during Standby (200-350mA). I got the number via Battery Widget Pro 1.65. For the first few days I did deplete the battery fully before charging it to full. Today I have factory reset it to the original condition at around 4pm with 58% battery full. Now at 9pm, it is only 18%. During this time, I spent about 1 hour with the phone, the rest is standby. I set the widget to monitor with 1 minute interval and when looking at the log file, it can be seen that the phone consumed from 200-400mA during the standby time. Coming from HD2 with Android modded 3-8mA standby consumption, this is a huge huge dissapoinment!
Is this because of my battery or is this my phone? Should I ask for a replacement? What about you, did you see similar pattern?
Thanks,
Duong

Ditto!! So annoyed since I too am coming from HD2 where HyperDroid's consumption had dropped to a flat 2mA in standby. This is insane for a native android device. Not to mention the heating while playing games and most importantly, the front facing camera producing upside down image during fring video chats.. grrr!
Dunno what the cause OR solution is (besides switching over to a custom rom if and when the BL gets unlocked and people like pongster develop for this device)...
Overall, sexy device but disappointed with such major holes left unattended..
A little offtopic but was a battery related questions and did not wanna start a new thread so posting here -
Does anybody know of if there's any app which can get the battery percent to show in the top bar instead of the default indicator?
Thanks
EDIT: neva mind... found it... everybody's allwoed 1 dumb post once in a while

Any ideas on how I can do that? I tried using current widget but I guess because it's not rooted, current widget showed me a log of 0mA all throughout (yeah rite! hehe)
when I figure it out myself I'll let you know.
Current things I found that killed my battery over night: VTOK & Google Latitude
I went into Settings --> About Phone --> Battery --> Battery Use and checked, and it says display is eating most of my battery.
As far as mine, I get about 12 hours of battery life with standard usage, with the display eating most of the life, so if you're saying the screen is off, you might get different results...
over my 8h sleep battery dropped like 10%, nothing special (count in : wifi on, sync with gmail, weather) guys. new phone, fresh unoptimized kernel and radio. it'll get better. my prev phone (desire) was like sh*t at beginning in relating to its current spec rom ... and btw for checkin consuption : system panel (not lite), there is monitoring and u can see which apps running again if ya shoot them, check sync-s etc. many many thing to do, hard to tell in a single post

well it certainly sounds like a part of it is specimen issue.. here's my latest experience... last few times i have let it completely discharge and then charge back while the phone was off so i dont mess with it... once 100% charged, i switched the phone on and received a call.. a 25 minute conversation ate away 15% of my battery... LOL...
then, (now it gets better)... in 2 hrs of standby, the phone was at 60% which means it lost another 15% battery in 2 hrs of "standby".. im not sure if i can even call that state a "standby" anymore...
anyways... im wondering if its worth pinning hopes on rom development on our forum or should i just return this and go with something like nexus S which, O well, I can live with... atleast it has a 3300mA batterypack available... what's the use of kickass speeds and features if i have to use a phone like a desktop..
Hey, I have pretty bad battery drain during stand by as well I recommend trying to adjust the sync accounts, esp HTC hub and how often it updates that should improve it...I have a bunch of HTC widgets set up so im suspecting that being the reason for battery drain during stand by also adjust your email update setting accordingly. Every little bit helps!
Battery gauge stuck at 100%
Another one slightly off topic - but why start another battery thread.
It is the second day with my Sensation, and since I took the phone off the charger this morning, the battery gauge has been stuck at 100%. All other apps reading the battery status (e.g. Battery Widget) show the same number. I rebooted the phone multiple times, replaced the battery - nothing - permanent 100%. Has anyone had a similar experience? Did I get a perpetuum mobile ?
BTW the readings were fine yesterday.

Yes, the rating will go downhill pretty quick after that. Mine behaves in the same way.

Thanks for the pointer.. I will surely try that and see if it makes a difference..
That being said, call me crazy but it just occurs to me that HTC should be putting in some minimal efforts to check off basic quirks like battery consumption and QC. I mean all of us are spending a buttload of money on these devices year over year and then we rely on our devs here to give us basic functionality. Back in the days the reason people joined forums was to tweak devices.. Now it almost feels like we might as well expect only the hardware for the price we pay... disappointed!
Anywho...
I fully charged the phone before I went to bed last night. Eight hours later, the battery is at 10%. Is there something wrong with the battery?
Try using the Spare Parts app to see what's really using the battery in detail.

Battery sucks! Faulty unit or crappy software? HELP

I have used this tablet for 2 days now and almost everything works perfect (thanks to latest ota) but there's one thing that is bothering me. Battery life. I had ipad 3 for 2 months but I finally sold it and bought the infinity. Now I know ios sucks on phones AND tablets. But the battery life was amazing. I could use it to browse and for games for 9 hours at least. But on the infinity I am lucky if I get 4 hours browsing. 4 hours sucks on a tablet. But I think that wifi is the problem. I have added 2 pictures were you can see I used the tablet for 1 hour last night then I used it for almost 3 more hours today. Now the battery is at 10%. But I was wondering why the battery uses 62%? On my galaxy nexus wifi is using 5%.
Have I got a faulty unit or is it like this for everyone? If so please let me know fast so I can send it back before it's too late.
Somethings not right there. Tests/reviews done by some major outlets (thinking PC World or Engadget) reported 9 hours of video play over wifi with screen at 50% brightness. iOS has always had good battery life due to their stict contols over the OS, but you should be seeing more then 4 hours. Hell I was at 40% and played WindUp Knight for hours straight last night which takes up much more battery then a movie. I usually don't suggest using task managers, but there is one built in by asus, I'd use it and see if you can kill some processes. Also be mindful which profile is being used. I stick to balanced most of the time and switch to low when the battery starts getting low (24%ish)
http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/25/asus-transformer-pad-infinity-tf700-review/
The TF700 packs a 25Wh battery rated for up to nine and a half hours of runtime. Indeed, it lasted nine hours and 25 in our battery rundown test, which involves looping a video with WiFi on and the brightness fixed at 50 percent.

I wouldn't be so sure. I was playing nova 3 on performance mode though.

Exactly, it all depends on what your doing OP. The movie scenerio in the review doesnt take much juice in that it uses the low power single core. I don't know for sure, but web browsing may require all 4 cores to kick in depending on exactly what your doing. Regardless, your wifi being a big consumer is easy to deal with. Somewhere in the settings is an option that automatically turns wifi off when screen is off.

Well, all i was doing was using chrome... I think it's pretty bad when i cant browse for more then 4 hours on a tablet. I thought it had to do something with WiFi since its using over 62%. I did the same test with my nexus where i i just used chrome and when i looked in battery , wifi only used 10%. Maybe there is a bug with wifi?
Try Battery HD for some averages/estimates.
I tend to get about 9+ hrs of reading, balanced mode, WiFi off, and about 7 hrs of browsing over WiFi (undocked, dock charges me about 2/3 full), but it all drops down drastically for gaming, which is about 4 hrs you mentioned.
If you get 4 hrs of pure browsing, I'd consider re-flashing, wiping data and - if these don't help - returning your device.
Chief Geek's point has much merit, and you could always look at (for example) GreenPower or some other time-/screen-based toggler. They do pretty well, and you do not even lose out anything except direct push functionality. (Does it really matter for 99.9% of mail when it comes in once every 15 or 30 minutes? When it does (when you're buying a house or something), shut down the toggler for the time being and cope with some battery drain, then when the situation has resolved, enable it again.
And try using BetterBatterStats for your statistics -- the main battery stat app Android offers has some quirks to prevent meaningful interpretations of many scenarios. Let that get a few charging/discharging cycles and then look at the stats.
So battery hd tells me I should get 8 hours of browsing and 9 for video playback. Will do another test tomorrow with screen on whole time and see how long it will last watching videos. Also battery hd tells me I can play 3d games for only 2 hours. Eh

Remember that these are just averages for your device, at least in the beginning.
If you mistreated your battery upon receiving it, it can kill battery life. You are suppose to plug in your asus tablet for at least 8 hours (well beyond the tablet would say the battery is 100%) the first time you get it. This is sound advice for any new Lithium Ion Battery.
Then you can start using it. Letting the battery die at 0% also decrease the life of the Li-Ion battery every time it happens (ignore old sites that say you should do a full discharge cycle every 2 weeks, that was for old Nickel Cadmium batteries).
Juice Defender is typically a phone app but you can run it as well to detect if any background processes are eating up your battery life.
I get almost 10 hours on my TF700 with moderate usage (mix of browsing, video playback, reading, etc.).

All correct -- there is a lot of disinformation going on with batteries (especially regarding the charging cycles, although a single, long, full charge and then draining to zero charge actually helps calibrate the battery indication algorithms in the device). The optimum minimum charge level seems to be about 40% or so I've read.
Juice Defender and Greenpower toggle WiFi on either time- or location-based profiles, and that works on tablets as well. Recommended!
Your phone doesnt actually discharge a battery to zero. The thing with lithium batteries is they maintain voltage untill nearly the end. This is a very large benifit for modern devices. Once the voltage starts to drop the phones circuitry cuts it off and prevents it from powering on with the LVC circuit that checks the battery before allowing phone to power on then immeditately cuts it (first attempting a power down then all out power cut). This happens to protect the battery. So what the phone considers a dead battery is simply an exhausted battery ready for charge. If a lithium is actually dischardged completely it will damage the cell and prevent it from taking a charge. The power being given to it is then converted to heat. The battery then ignites and very very bad things happen such as your house burning down. The point of all that is to point out that discharging your phone to "zero" isn't actually doing any damage past the normal wear and tear on the battery. I buy batteries that cost hundreds for some of my RC hobbies and have learned the hard way about how lithium batteries work. (bypassed LVC and ruined a $80 3S2P pack)

i have actually read that Li-Ion batteries can be used out of the box. Sp i turned on my infinity right away. I put the charger in, but i still used the tablet. It was about 25% when i got it out of the box. So what you're saying is that i have basically ****ed up the battery? If so, then i will return and get a new one. But i dont understand why most people say that you can usre a device with Li-Ion battery staright out of the box without needing to charge it first.

Nothing to add, technical and extensive, but fully correct, sir. I think we may have had a slight misunderstanding, however: my point was that discharging your phone to 'zero' (and as you rightfully point out, that is not an actual fully discharged battery state) is a required step in calibrating most device's algorithms (some devices, such as my SGS2 do not need this because of advanced hardware). I'd rather not fully discharge any Li-Ion batteries either.

A typical case of RTFM, an affliction I sometimes suffer from as well, as do most men. Hahaha! Do you think ASUS put it in the manual for laughs, or just to give you a few more hours of painful desire to use your device while you cannot, yet? Nah, it's there for a reason. Sometimes, though -- and again that's SGS2 experience -- just running a few battery cycles might make the readout correspond to the actual battery level again. You could at least give it a try, right?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S2 GT I9100 heating up

Ello Folks,
I'm new to this forum and for some stupid reason I can't post within the forum I wanted to, so I hope someone can help me here..
I have been playing with Custom Roms for a long time and I have ALWAYS encountered problems regarding battery drain. I have searched innumerous times for ways to fix it.. I've tried many different ROMS and KERNELS and I always ended up with a massive battery consumption with little use. I then thought it was my battery as the device is quite old so I decided to buy a new original battery and still having the same problem.
I am starting to think that I am really dumb and doing something wrong or maybe I am just unlucky. I got my phone back in 2011 from T-Mobile UK and I am now running JB 4.2.2 Revolt JB I9100 and Dorimanx V9.33 as kernel.
My battery is going from 100% to 0% in like 4 hours. Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Batter drain in 4 hours is not normal. But with heavy usage of 3g/4g it can be. As you said you got heating problems too.
So, first with the battery. Install betterbatterystats from play store. Let the battery drain off completely and charge it to 100 in a go keeping data network/Bluetooth/GPS/WiFi in off mode. Check how much time it's taking to charge it from 0% to 100%. Now discharge it off to 0% and Check the rate of discharge. If it's below 5%/Hour you are safe.
But if it is as you said before 4hours battery backup, there must be some trouble.
These kinds of drastic battery drain happens of many reasons.
1. Poor signal strength.
2. Overloading cpu ( which also cause overheating)
3. Any background running apps which utilizing a bunch a data.
4. Bad kernel (we can pick this out as you tried different kernels.)
5. Defective battery.
Or a last chance
6. A hardware failure.
So inorder to find the root cause behind this problem check each of the possibilities one at a time.
In case of cpu, change the governor and I/o scheduler and see.
In case of background running apps, check whichever programs revising maximum amount of battery.
Hope it helps..

Cheers mate,
I am well aware that custom kernels allow me to overclock it and change governors and i/o and that these kinda settings have a major role on how much battery the device will consume. But as I have never really understood the diferences btw them I for once have never played with the values so I have always left 'em at their default value.
The only real reason I've decided to change to a Custom Rom is to get new versions of the Android OS and to get rid of the hideous TouchWiz skin from Samsung..
I am not living in the UK at the moment as got transfered to Brazil for work and I have been on TIM network and they suck badly so maybe cuz their 3G sucks its whats causing my battery to drain like crazy.
But I will definitely follow your instructions and hopefully I'll get a positive result..
Once again, thank you very much.

Mi4C shuts down at 30 %

I have a problem with my mi4c.
Everytime my phone touches the 30 % mark it shuts down.
After it is off I restart it and I can see ~25% and use it until shuts down at 0%.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?
I'm running Resurrection Rom 5.7.4 with 2.00 OC kernel.
Also I'm using magisk.
I flashed the Rom etc. Around 3 days ago
first of all, flash some other rom to see if it persists
but frankly, most probably the battery is worn out, ie. if there's some stress and huge amount of power is being drawn, a dead battery won't be able to give proper voltage, the voltage drops and the system reads it as if battery level dropped to 0% level (the percentage is calculated from actual voltage, ie. ~4,35v = full, somewhere about 3,5v means 'empty') <-sorry for non-scientific description
btw. my battery shows similar symptoms - ie. it quickly drops from 100% to 85% and it happens that the phone shuts down if I try to run something demanding when batt level <20%. waiting for replacement to be delivered
I have the same issue
I just saw similar complaints in polish mi4c forums - I believe the batteries are either bad quality ones or rather they're designed to give too much output concerning their real size/capacity. How is that? just let electronics charge it waay over 4,2v - you "gain" some capacity and then you let it discharge to much less than 3,6v - you "gain" another couple of mAh. You can boast your slim battery has 3000mAh, but only for first 50-100 cycles (enogh for web tests to get good opinions and sell many phones) and then its capacity falls rapidly - because you're left with "real" battery capacity (I mean for voltages between 4,2 and 3,6v).
So, I personally believe the replacement battery will behave more or less the same because of the phone electronics it will be killed within similar period of time

Could be.
But why does it shut off at 30 %?
If I restart it I can use the 25%.
Is the voltage drop at 30 % so high that it shuts off?
I don't know if it happens on Miui.
I only experienced it on cm13 /rr 5.7.4
I was curious to find how's the battery condition, installed that app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kr.hwangti.batterylog
it allows to see battery percentage, temp and current voltage when the percentage changes
so, my battery is already junk - there are numerous serious voltage drops like:
Code:
98% - 4270mV
96% - [COLOR="Red"]4075mV[/COLOR]
95% - 4199mV
or from previous charge cycle:
Code:
34% - 3715mV
33% - [COLOR="red"]3498mV[/COLOR]
31% - 3764mV
my new battery is on its way to destination country, curious to see how it'd look after replacement
right now, no wonder why it's shutting itself randomly
could you guys check your voltages and post here, too?

According to the log, i also find random drops (max ~200mV). However I dont think my battery has problem. Battery life is excellent too. Maybe thats normal for LiPO batteries.

can you share what ROM you're using? I wondered if this can be somehow linked to rom and its internal readings and or interpretation

CM13 with kuma sources latest (20161006) build from emfox
thanks for the reply
will try to change the ROM to see if it persists
I've tried with xiaomi.eu stable ROM. I have the same values. I think that it is regular, since even in the play store's images you can see the same.

Here, have my log (in attachment) from charged at 100% to completely discharged. There are a few drops here and there but it recovers quickly. I get around 5h 30m screen-on-time on TeamSuperluminal's CM13.
This is happening to me too (and to others on our italan facebook group).
I was posting this:"Guys i'm not able to solve this problem: i have a xioami mi4c (1 year old), and recently (every time) when i arrive under 20% of battery it suddenly shuts down. I already tried to turn it off multiple times and to charge it back to 100% without unplugging it but it doesn't work.
I don't know what to do; and when it should be without power (like you cannot turn it on) it shows something like 43% when connected to the charger."
When i saw this thread .
I always had miui but till last week i flashed cm13.1 TS.. i went to cm trying to solve heating issues and now the phone is really a lot less hot but i'm keeping with me those battery issues.. they're really annoying :/

It's not the topic for that, but I rarely play games on the phone and mostly use it for text messaging. I also keep the screen brightness low (around 45 to 50%).
There seems to be quite a lot of variation between individual Mi4c's, so I guess some have better batteries or screens that spend less power; I've read up a lot on it and nobody's decided on an answer as of yet.
Aren't we in a troubleshooting thread ? this thing about variations between same model makes me really sad and angry..why the [email protected]%$ should be possible! I'm enjoying a lot my xiaomi but how can i trust again in the brand?

It's well known that manufacturers mix and match components to assemble even a single phone model. The most familiar case is Apple with the iPhone 6 and the A8 SoC, which had two flavors: TSMC and Samsung. But, what I've said is speculation and not fact.
I'm sure there are two variants of the Mi4c that use either a Sharp or an AUO screen, and it might be that the battery life is impacted by this or that there are two or more battery variants that are put into the Mi4c. No one ever collected enough data to be sure this is the definite cause of weaker battery life, though.
Same as everyone, I'd suggest buying the phone that gives you the most bang for your buck, be that Xiaomi or some other manufacturer. That's why I bought the Mi4c and I have only minor complaints, though the great community definitely helped

Yeah you're absolutely right :good:
I bought the mi4c for the same reason...but after all, i have to complain about its battery and touch (yeah i don't like it so much).
Anyway a new battery is coming; up to now it's working good but i don't trust so much of the hardware, so before the "shutting down threshold" grows, i'd like to be "safe".
(little ot: inside our italian forum someone suggested that redmi 3 pro is far better then mi4c ; what do you think ? ; if you prefer you can private message me)
redmi 3pro would be far better except for the camera depends on your needs - also, if you want to run custom roms, check if there are any stably ones beforehand
my battery arrived yesterday, changed yesterda, charged overnight and observing - still running battery log and so far the voltage drops are negligible compared to the original one like 0,02v instead of 0,2v. I'll give full report after full discharge cycle

Check for battery drain in my OP7 Pro

Hi everyone!!
I'd like to get some advice about my issue that I've been having for a while...
My battery drain is what you may see in my attachments. Please tell me some good advice to reduce this drain or whether it is normal functioning either...
In conclusion, I'd like to know if it might be convenient to replace the battery and, furthermore, whether there are larger batteries with more autonomy.
My phone is 2 years and half old but to be honest I use it intensively with its battery-case (manufacturer: Newdery).
Thanks!!!
Sorry for late reply, just saw this.
You get 6 hours of battery life with 14% screen on time? That doesn't sound to correct.
My suggestion would be to install the app: AccuBattery. I swear by it - it is very good I think. It will watch your apps much better than the stock android battery monitor. It will also tell you your battery health, the mAh left out of the total of 4000. If you have a very low amount left (capacity wise) then you may want to get a new battery. But make sure to do several charges before taking it as accurate. Use the app for several days, even the little "notes" in the app will tell you this - it's to "acclimate" to your use and give you more accurate statistics.
Hopefully this helps - 6 hours is definitely not good.

Hi!!
Thank you very much for your reply!
I forgot it but I already had Accubattery installed on my phone.
In fact, in attachment you have the battery wear data from April 2021 till now..
I hope that I shared you useful data to analyse the issue.
What do you think? What should I take from the app?
I thought that the new Android version 11 is the cause of battery drain as another phone (Xiaomi Redmi Note 10) suffers from it after the upgrade to Android 11..

No prob
Could you take an [extended/full] screenshot of the "Discharge" tab? That will show more info about which app is draining more. Also those numbers change I believe on every charge so you'd have to just keep an eye on which app is always at the top of the section under "Foreground App Battery Usage > Battery Usage" section. Hopefully it isn't just "system" or something, hopefully it is an app that you can remove/freeze.
And what does it say for Battery Capacity above the "Battery Wear" chart?
And speaking of the wear chart, you'll want to stop charging all the way to 100%, it looks like you're putting over 1 cycle of wear on the battery very often which will degrade the battery quicker. The 'Charging" tab explains this even allowing you to set a reminder to unplug at a certain charge level (it tells you the higher you charge the more wear you put on the battery - unfortunately that's how batteries work).

Hi, thank you for your reply!!
I'm sorry for my late replies..
In the attachments you have what you asked me.
It seems that Facebook drains the battery a lot despite the fact that I don't use it much.
The battery wear seems to be almost one fifth of total capacity for a capacity of about 3200mhA.
I'd like to have something better...
I have set at 83% the alert to reduce the wear of the battery but I wonder how it could work fine when the phone is turned off..
No problem
So, I'm not exactly sure how you use your phone but it looks like the screen-on at 23%/hr looks pretty bad but then also it says combined time was 102 hours? I believe that means how long it's been off the charger. If that's the case you can't get any better battery life than that, that is really really good.
You mention facebook doing a lot of draining. Try researching a good app freezing option on the app store. I only did a quick search but this one came up: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.catchingnow.icebox but read the reviews (I did a quick scan and it looks like it might work as intended) and look around maybe there is a better one. But the point of this is, to freeze any apps in that list (the accubattery foreground apps) you barely use and it will prevent them from running in the background. This will definitely give you better battery life.
And I don't see the deep sleep statistic, is that around 90hrs along with the screen off time? It should be more than the screen off time at least, because if it is then it is deep sleeping correctly (no rouge apps causing it to not deep sleep), but if it's less than the screen off time, then something (maybe facebook) is keeping the phone awake even with the screen off, causing extra battery drain.
And 83% charge is pretty good, maybe even 75% might be better, I think from 0 to 75 it's like .3 or .4 wear but it's like with these batteries once you start going over 75% it jumps in wear dramatically. And if the phone is off (turned off completely you mean?) then the battery won't gain any wear because it won't be in use at all.

I noticed that I didn't make all the screenshots, but now I've just done them with regards to this new discharge cycle and you have the deep sleep statistics for a better analysis - they are in attachments.
I asked here for a longer battery lasting and instead I set it as 75% as the maximum percentage value of charge that reduces my autonomy but saves the battery.
However, yesterday I noticed that the charging wasn't deactivated when the phone reached 80% of charge (is the value that was set yesterday). Oughtn't Accubattery deactivate the charging?
The statistics you mentioned in your previous post appear to me a bit awkward even though they are related to many sessions in the last 7 days.
I use my phone with my phone case-battery (Newdery manufacturer) and until few months ago it could charge the phone up to about 80 % when I couldn't charge my phone through its charger. I need the charge to last a day, almost 20 hrs…
I noticed that the phone started to wear - the last few months - when I noticed that I couldn't have the phone working till the late evening and I tried to charge it fully before I left my house...
However, it is clear what I need for my use and habits, thus, new reliable battery-case suggestions would be a good hint for me...
In the end, I don't know what to do about apps that manage the apps freezing because I don't know how Android allows it and if it is worth it..
