Does anyone know how to stop my
email alert (not g mail) from keep repeating about every 5 it drives me crazy, I just want 1 times alerts!

I really like the slide down notification for text messages in MIUI but MIUI has been extremely buggy for me so I have gone back to CM7. I miss the slide down notification and was curious if anybody knows of a solution to get similar functionality in CM7.

After cleaning some cache,I lost the pictures of my contacts but only for the messages.Now when I get a phone call I see person's picture but when I try to read the message,no picture.Can I fix this?I am rooted but still on stock rom,2.3.3.
So you get the images to show when you get a call from a person, but not from SMS texts? Sounds weird. Try using a 3rd party app for SMS, like CrunchSMS, Handscent, GO SMS Pro, see if that helps.

Just checking...you made sure that that function is checked in the options of whatever app you're using for SMS, right? I know for the 3rd party ones like chomp and Handcent, you can turn it on and off.
With the stock app there is no such opt.I will try 3rd party app and let you know.

I flashed ARHD for GB but I can not retrive,find,my contacts on my new rom.I tryed sync with google mail and titanium back up but no luck.I guess I do something wrong.When I back up to my previous rom the contacts are there but no contacs after flashing.Any help?

When an sms is received I get the big image with the begining of sms. Can I do something to hide that?
