The best thing i like about QuickOffice is how it is able to reflow the text to suit device's screensize.

I guess people like exaggerated colors
I think each camera shines in its own way, and to be honest either of these cameras is good enough for me. It's the convenience of smartphone cameras that make them great, if I want a stunning photo ill use a dedicated camera meant for that purpose.

Yeah it is surprising that the iPhone5 still beat the S4.

huh are u kidding :cyclops:
its not the final firmware and its still better than all of them outdoors ( IP5 overexpose the images ) , GS4 seems only have little problem with focus indoors ( or maybe he took unfocused image )
edit : the video rec seems suck , its dropping frames like ***** + the stabilization seems useless ( i hope this will change in final software )

While I was living In the UK, a mate and I actually bought a second hand controller deliberately so we could throw it when we got angry with the ps2. Ahhh the good times lol

So you come to XDA developers to share a video of yourself destroying your PS3... You must be proud to throw away money just for the heck of it.

[Q] Newcomer to Table Use

Good afternoon XDA! I want to take a moment to thank you all for this extensive, detailed, and helpful community. I've been coming here since my first smart phone (EVO 4G) and lurking ever since. I've always toyed around with different Linux distros, and you guys helped me move my experience to mobile when the time came.
Now, I've only just moved into the growing world of tablets. I received a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (now rooted and running CM10.1) and have had tons of fun playing with it and learning the software.
Now, as much fun as I've had with it, it will soon be time to make it practical as a work and university device. User-friendly office tools, note-taking, and photo-editing software is what I need. What would you guys recommend to a noobie like me to get as fluent and useful work experience out of my new tablet as possible?
Thank you all again, and apologies if I stuck this in the wrong area of the Tab 2 section!

Quick Office is looking very very nice! I won't always have a net connection, although I tether my phone to have WiFi in most places, sometimes the signal just isn't great.
Thanks, guys. I also just noticed that I wrote "table use" in the title. My bad.
I use kingsoft office, it is free and available offline and gives you the ability to create, edit, and view, word, powerpoint, and excel files.

[Q] iOS like inbuilt dictionary for Android

I have a galaxy s duos gt-s7562 rooted running stock rom, whenever I am typing or reading on my ipad, I can highlight a word and get it defined in a second by using ios's internal dictionary.
Can we have such feature on our android devices, because it is very helpful and logical to have an instant lookup of words, if it's already there can someone post a link to it... pls
I have posted screenshots of this feature s attachments
its not on android yet... there have to be some differences dude!

Hit Thanks if I am helpful

hard to code?
I guess android can't add it to its OS?
This is very helpful to us people who is mother tongue is not english. This is the feature in iOS that I always hoping for to be integrated with android.
I use my iPad mini most of the time when surfing the and read english language written articles. I always encounter new words that is not familiar.

How can you help me?
Well we know some of the watchfaces work and some of them don't.
Please help me test which ones work and post them here in this thread so I can make a seperate section for the Gear2 on GearFaces.

This is a great idea. I think we all already know the Minority Report one works.
When submitting, everyone should put in the name used on Gearfaces, the category it is found in, its screenshot from GF, as well as the link to its page on GF? (less info? more info?)
That should be beneficial not only to Jeshter2000 and his website, but also to the community, as they'll know which ones still work.
Digital faces as well or just Analog?

I think only Analogs work at this point but it would be great if someone can figure it out.

would love to try out a bunch and post results , unfortunately still having problem as many others are .where we cant select a loaded theme from watchstyler in gear manager.
WORKS, MOSTLY

This one loads without incident. The digital components (Seconds, Day of Week, Battery Meter, Bluetooth Indicator) load fine. However, the date (day of the month) looks glitched out. In fact, I almost missed it.

I pruned out the ones I said were not working, left the others.
Id love to help but can't get gear to find styler.. even on stock f/w
Edit: had to uninstall the version I had downloaded from the site and re install via gear manager/ samsung apps (for some reason couldnt find it straight from Samsung app) using the clock category.

I had the same issue as the previous guy mate. Had to uninstall and reinstall again from Samsung apps for it to work. The one from gearfaces.com installed but doesn't appear in gear manager. Anyway I managed to make a couple of watch faces and the Bluetooth and battery icons are working.
I am not seeing Watch Styler in the Samsung Apps. By checking through Gear Manager or straight from the app drawer on my S5.

In the Samsung apps store you need to go to categories/clock and it will be in there.
