There are quite a number of links to various RUU in the forum. By the way, you don't have to stick to an Indian RUU. I've tried others and they work just fine.

I did forget to mention you can't go wrong by making a Gold Card first. It may turn out to be a lifesaver.
You don't actually need the hassle of making a Gold Cardunless you just Google the ADB codes and imply them right!
Best way to apply them is copy-paste method directly from the net to the CMD.

I know! I don't have a Gold Card & I've never had to create, much less use one. The caveat is for the one-in-a-million guy who's luck may go south. I don't wanna be held accountable for a bricked device.
Hi,
I have the same device which turned out to be an indian device.

Migrated from RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.080 5U_38.03.02.11_M_release (alpharevx to S-OFF and Gingerbreak 1.2 to root).
First flashed the stock ROM to enable update and lost the root.
So my phone is S-OFFed but not rooted anymore. Gingerbreak is not working anymore. Probably I will stay with this current stock ROM because I was using rooting before only to achieve an ad hoc wi-fi support. Hope that HTC wil do something about the ad hoc support in the future...

Will it work if you just flash the stock .exe RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.080 5U_38.03.02.11_M_release ?
I am reading here in the forum that it can not be downgraded to a lower version, but maybe I'm wrong. It should be like my good old HD2 - just flash the original stock ROM and after that do what you want... If it will revert 0.98.0002 to 0.98.0000 that will be fine. Not sure yet.

I've just seen on the New alphareve+unrevoked site http://revolutionary.io/
That One of the supported devices is the saga) it says both hboot versions 0.98.0000 and 0.98.0002
So has anyone tried it recently perhaps there is no need to downgrade after all?

Since you have not used HTCDEV.com it will be easy for you.
First flash another bootloader (0.98.2000 or 2.00.2002 or 7.xx) You will need to use "dd" command to overwrite it, PG88IMG will not work. Do not worry you can find the proper command in the thread of 2.00.2002 ENG hboot.
After that you have to find your main version. Reboot to bootloader, connect to PC, make sure it is written "FASTBOOT USB" on the device and type: fastboot getvar version-main
After that find a RUU that contains this main version in its name (example 2.10.401.8 is for Europe) and run it.
Good luck
If you cannot find the proper RUU, type: fastboot getvar cidnum
and post it together with the main version here
Thanks for reply
i thing i used HTC dev to unlock bootloader i dont remeber clearly.. i know i used htc dev does it makes things different ?

Different for the warranty not for returning to Stock (it is more or less the same, instead of flashing another bootloader you have to lock it)
But for your current system specs you have to follow the steps from my previous post
now i have 2.00.2002 hboot
and version-main: 1.27.405.6 and cidnum : HTC___032
which ruu i need to flash now ?
i flased ruu now and im back to stock now
i have now :
SAGA PVT SHIP S-ON RL
HBoot- 0.98.0000
is that mean that my warrinty is back now ?
if you unlocked your phone via htc.dev they may know that your phone was rooted and not accept your warrancy for that reason.
if you did not, you're ok. but if i am at your place i'd return phone without sd card or destroy any file or folder on it that could suggest the phone's been rooted once (nandroid backups, titanium backup files, custom roms, root explorer files, etc). don't forget about hidden files also.
I thought about it ill just transver all my files from sd card to pc and then ill format it

Hi,
What have you been doing?
You have ICS hboot, but a GingerBread radio.
I suggest you reflash the 3.32 firmware.
Look HERE
i tried to put the firmware on sd and go to bootloader and i get this message
Model ID incorrect!
update fail
what next?

Hi,
It is all explained in the thread.
You need to find out your cid number ,and then, edit the text file in the firmware package.
i know but how i can know my cid if i can only access the bootloader?

1. if you wish to return to stock:
a) relock bootloader- you already have
b) run ADB on your pc, connect your phone and let it be detected
issue commands:
- adb reboot bootloader
-fastboot devices
-fastboot getvar version-main
-fastboot getvar cid
after you obtain the info about your software version and region (CID)
a) find =/or < RUU for saga matching your phones CID,
b) still in fastboot- start RUU.exe on your computer and let it finish....
if you want to go custom:
a) unlock bootloader
b) flash recovery again- if needed
c)flash the rom of your choice
d) flash boot.img- belonging to the ROM you`re flashing
that`s for starters
if you need further instructions

Try to use <gold card> if you wish to flash wwe ruu version,
..may wish to give a shoot to: ics wwe (this is dev preview) from htcdev site,
that one, upgrades bootloader and radio
without the need of s-off'ing ..
As for custom, you can probably flash anything you want...
Only have to unlock bootloader again
Edit: your phone seems to be having software branded to
Three UK, even though it may be simlock free..
thanks very very much for your help, i have managed to flash stock rom
