Is there a way you can have the Battery % left in the battery Icon?
Depends. What's your specs? Rooted? ROM?

Some roms have it built in but if not you can search for a battery mod that will enable it

Battery mods are ROM and version specific so be careful. If you want the "%" then pick the one you want through the UOT Kitchen.

Like goat tamer said. Go to UOT Kitchen. Choose the mods you want. Follow the steps there for submitting the files needed to mod your ROM. Very simple.

I sure it will be a setting in the new rom's.

I have no problems with the stock rom though. Especially since all the bloatware was never there to begin with. Like with the mytouch 4g I used iced glacier because it had good htc apps I just don't like bloatware.

Just patch your framework with the UOT kitchen. http://uot.dakra.lt/
Is there an app that replaces the current battery meter for one with percent? Or will I need a 2nd battery meter?
Edit: a new Rom I'm using has this feature...

There's no app I know of that does that but many Roms have the ability to do that in their settings

you make one by uploading you framework-res.apk to UOT kitchen or i can make u one if u explain what u want and what rom u have

Alternatively you can use circle battery widget. Used it in my old D2 days where the only battery percentage you could get in the status bar was in ten percent increments.
Ok ill check that out...and I'm using the latest pure speed rom if you can make me one simply with the percentage over the battery meter

Circular battery indicator to replace standard one, is there any out yet for o3d ?
Me too
I would also like to know if there is an easy way to mod the battery icon, As i remember there was an app on the market for the Galaxy-s, Would this be possible for O3D?
Regards
Mark
You should try using uot kitchen or a theme from the theme and apps section. You can change quite a bit on there.
I'm a bit of a newbie but could someone make an apk that changes the battery icon for rooted devices. I looked at the kitchen and didnt feel too comfortable doing it!!!

Is there a battery mod for Virtuous Unity 2.39.0 that has the regular battery bar but with the percent on the inside of it? I've looked but cant find one. Any info would help.

Post 2381 in the VU thread.
Stock%(5bar)(4GforHandH+).zip is the one you want
Do you want just the Stock% battery with no other mods? I can do that for you if you want, but that's an easy kitchen cook

Plain stock% battery. It's white outline, green fill, white numbers
(no signal strength or network indicator mods).
Oh and Nick - that's 3 letters and 1 word.
Thank you so much!!! Ill try now.

I'm on Android stock and I don't want to flash any custom ROMs or kernels. Is there any app or mod that will add the percentage of the battery to the battery icon?
I'm not talking about it being in the status bar. There's tons of those available. I'm talking about the actual battery icon next to the signal strength meter. It's so weird that's there's no stock option to have the percentage available or not. Any idea if that will be included in Ice Cream Sandwich? Thanks!
Simply put no. Need rom or kernel something of that source. U myself have looked

I know CM7 has that option, but I plan to stay on stock until ICS comes on out. Thanks for letting me know.
