So i have revolutionary cwm recovery installed and its starting to act weird when i press power on reboot system now it doesn't do anything neither on power off so i installed rom manager and i have the options to install the latest recovery and i wonder if the latest build is stable and is it ok to do it trough rom manager ??
Thanks

I don't know, I use 4 ext touch recovery. I remember there being some versions of CWM with charging issues.

Everyone is talking about that recovery is it as easy to install as cwm ?? I might just get that

There's a free app in the market. 4ext recovery control, you can download the app and install the recovery through the app if you are rooted. The paid app is better and has more features, it's worth supporting the development of this recovery. It is so much better than CWM, IMO. Some ROM chefs include it in their ROMS. There's a thread over in development section, plenty of support from the developer.

first install Viper 1.0.0, flash the zip file as usual (4ext recovery, install from zip)
Full wipe is recommend and this can be done during installation.
Viper 1.0.1 is a "patch", you can either download the flashable zip to install or use Settings > About > Software Updates
just install as usual, dont have to wipe anything
Do I have to download viper 1.0.0 first? Is it alright if I just install vipers1.0.1.

JB is not in usable state yet. Why are you using ROM manager anyway?
