Hi to all of you.
As this is my first post supose that it would be nice to introduce.
So I'm Lesi, dispite of my forum nick... and am writing from Croatia.
Let's get started...
I have SGS+ on 2.3.5 bokp1 and I have played a little with it.
So I wouldn't spend your time explaining why I've uninstalled Google framework services ver 2.3.7 I would rather ask you all for help to recover o reinstall this app (if it's possible).
So I've backed up all data with Titanium and deleted Google service (my first stupid move). When I tryed to recover it trough Titanium he would stop at popup window saying recovering (infinitive) and nothing could be done.
Then I've flashed all the data trough the recover mode at the startup. (second stupid move).
So, now I don't have Titanium app, my Market, google talk and gmail app won't even start.
But one lucky thing is that all the back up files (from Titanium) (including google services) stayed on internal card.
I'm listening all advices.
Tnx
Lesi
Bump! Anyone? Really need some help! Can it be done?

Hi,
I have a Galaxy S II since about a week. It is rooted and Titanium Backup (paid version) is installed.
When I deleted an app I didn't want to keep I accidentally deleted the wrong one, something called BadgeProvider. Alas, I have found out that this system app makes it possible to send SMS (maybe more problems that I haven't found out yet) Without it, I can't .
I have tried to reinstall it from Titanium but that doesn't work. I have found the BadgeProvider.apk file on the Internet and trid to install it with several app installers but that doesn't work either.
I do need to send and receive SMS. How do I get a functional smartphone again?
I do badly need help
Thanks
Well, I would recommend you move the Titanium Backup File onto different storage, than factory reset the phone. If you've only had it a week I don't imagine you are going to lose too much, especially if you are already backed up. May take a little bit to re-root and restore and everything but, it's better than trial and error/waiting for a specific solution.
I have a rooted stock nexus S. I wanted a the new google music app (i'm outside the US) so i backed up the old one with titanium backup and them removed it (also with titanium). I then used the market enabler to get the google music app but once installed it wouldnt open (I assume because im outside the US). I need to restore my original backup but when i do it just says restoring app and never finishes. I have tried browsing to the apk file and installing from there but it says app not installed. Is there a way to manually restore the app or is my backup broken?
Thanks in advance
Same problem here. Please HELP
I have the same problem with my Music and Browser app.Can anyone please help.
So before I start telling my "story" I'd first like to warn you that this is really hard to explain for me so please don't be angry.
Yesterday I got myself a 32 GB Micro sdcard for my phone, previously I had a 8 GB one.
I had partitioned my old card so I could link apps to my sd card using Link2SD, so before using my new SD Card I first had to partition it.
After countless of hours I finally managed to partition it correctly with AParted. I had made a backup with CWM because I was told it would backup my 2nd partition aswell.
So I tried to use the advanced restore option in CWM to restore my apps that were linked. But this never worked.
This wasn't that big of a problem, the only thing I had to do is reinstall a couple of apps. Too bad for me my phone still thought the apps were there, while they WEREN'T.
Let's call these app "Ghost" apps to make it easy.
I found out that these "Ghost" apps could only be seen under the "apps" section under "storage". NO other app could see them.
When trying to reinstall a "Ghost" app via the play store or other sources my device said it has insufficient memory. For example I tried to reinstall soundcloud, but it said I had insufficient memory.
So I went to back to my apps and deleted the "Ghost" version of soundcloud. After I did this I was able to reinstall soundcloud. And this happened to all the apps.
Now here is where we meet our problem. I also linked the system apps GMail and Google Chrome to my old sd Card, so now they were "Ghosted" aswell.
But you can't uninstall system apps via the "apps" menu. This is where I got stuck, I literally tried almost EVERY system app remover/ file manager to try and remove the apps manually or via an app.
Now finally here is my question:
Is there any way for me to remove the "Ghost" Chrome and Gmail OR reinstall them via another way? I've searched on the internet for hours for a similar problem but couldn't find anyone.
I'm kind of new in the advanced Android world, but I do know a thing or two.
I hope you will be able to answer my Question!
Now here are some details:
Phone:
Samsung Xcover 2 (GT-S7710)
Rooted?:
Yes, my phone is rooted
Custom rom?:
No I'm running the stock version for now.
Ask me for more info if needed
Here are some screenshots from the "Ghost" apps:
Sorry I'm a new member, I can't post outside links. So I can't supply my screenshots via the forums for now
Hope this is enough information, Thanks in advance!
Please do Note I do not have GMail on my phone right now, so it might take me a bit longer to answer any questions or test possible solutions.
Hi there,
I'm sorry but I can't find anything related to your question/device.
Please post that in the forum bellow for more answers from the experts:

Good luck
I found the solution to my problem.
So thank you for pointing me in the right direction!
So I deleted my download manager off with titanium backup. Now I can't download anything from google play no apps will update its just a mess is there a apk for it or do I have to flash my whole phone. Ibe already hard reset and tried all the lititle things so some advice would be appreciated
Found this on another forum. It's kinda old, but still might be useful.
Hi guys.
Sorry in advance in case of double thread, I looked around but didn't find anything similar.
Recently my Nexus 5 sends me this daily alert: "backup failed. It's been 3 days since last backup". If I click on this notice, it sends me to the backup settings page, and starts a new backup attempt that freezes at the very first step.
Every setting seems correct to me, and I'm at my wit's end.
I am waiting for a new device, so it would be great updating my data backup, so I could restore everything in my new phone simply by logging with my Google account.
I can send screenshots, but they're in Italian.
Can anyone help me?
Thank you all.
take Titanium backup always works. 1st try Syncing the account like app data and stuff then manually backup!
Thanx for your suggestion. I should root the device in order to use Titanium, right?
Anyway, I woud like to undertsand what's wrong in Google backup anyway, if anyone else can help.
