Where is the original recovery image ???

Could anyone help me out, I have been searching for about 2 hours all over to get the original recovery image back on a friend Nexus S, he had issues with CyanogenMod and now want to be back to stock.
I have tried my best to get him to rethink this but, nothing to do. I have so far followed the procedure found here and everything went perfectly until I tried to reboot into recovery.
Now not only cant I get into original recovery but, I cannot even get the clockwork recovery. Instead, I get a android robot with a yellow triangle and exclamation mark.
I could re-install clockwork recovery with fastboot but nope, he wants the original one.
Can anyone help me to find it
EDIT: The supposed to be original recovery image I have gives me:
Exceed blocks 0x000000020 > 0x00000001e
even after a Flashboot erase recovery

Relax friend, you did better than you thought!
The android with the exclamation point IS the stock recovery. When you see it, hold power and press volume up to reveal the user interface.
For future reference, flashing a stock ROM will typically install the stock recovery as well.

That's why I don't root other people's phones. Just don't like the feeling when something doesn't go right. Or always having to fix their problems. It's just a matter of time before they become curious and check it out for themselves.

[Q] Problem rooting and installing CWM

I have an HTC One V. I successfully unlocked the bootloader without problems.
But I tried rooting it, and after clicking install my phone rebooted and came to the HTC logo screen, where it has red writing underneath that says
"This build is for development purposes only do not distribute outside of HTC without HTC's permission ..."
It would not start up, so I had to hold the power button down and manually restart it. Then it started up normally, but is NOT rooted.
I also tried installing the CWM, and got the same logo screen with red writing.
What can I do? I have searched the internet and cannot find a solution.
The screen does not go away until I manualy restart.

[Completed] HTC One Can't Update With Root?

Ok please bare with me I'm new to the rooting scene. Ok, so as some of you may know there's a new update (6.10.531.10 - something about audio issues). So, I keep getting the notification to update and I've been trying to update for a while. Now, my phone (HTC One T-mobile) is rooted and every time I tried updating it would take me to the TeamWIN reboot thing (I don't know what to call that). So, I did some research and it turns out I had to install a stock recovery, update, then reinstall my custom recovery. So, I did install a custom recovery and everything is fine (not sure If it was, but my CID is TMOB010, something like that). However, the problem occurs everytime I press install it reboots fine and it goes into the green triangle downloading, then it goes all the way or close to it and it switches to a Red Triangle With an Exclamation Mark, and theres nothing I can do from there. The only thing I can do from there is hold the power button and wait for it to restart and it goes back to normal, and the cycle repeats again. Can someone please help me?
Edit: I do have S-ON if that makes any difference.

[Q] HTC one m7 not updating to lollipop

I tried to update my HTC One [m7] unlocked/international to the new Android Lollipop with the OTA update that got pushed yesterday. However, it keeps failing. My HTC is rooted, and is currently running 6.12.161.9 (trying to update to 7.18.616.2). It is S-ON and has an hboot 1.57. Now, the problem keeps appearing in the following way.(I installed stock recovery of 6.12.161.9 :crying:version) The phone starts the update process normally. It goes to the recovery and the progress bar starts to move. However as soon as it reaches about 1/4 of its way (always the same), it stops the installation and returns to the recovery title screen (the red triangle and exclamation mark). When I then press volume up and power button to see the recovery menu, it gives me the following readout at the bottom on the console:

What i have to do now....?

first go the easy way .format external memory and reset the phone to factory ......then give it a try.. make sure you backup first

factory resetting doesnt helped me....installation stopped in half with red eclamation mark!
can i use RUU for making my htc stock(because i am S-ON)...if yes can you please suggest the best suited RUU according to my configuration.... or if anybody have easier way please help me!
i got messed up in these things

TF101 with yellow triangle in recovery - how do I fix it?

I bought a TF101 from craigslist...
It connects to the playstore, but shows an error when I try to download any apks.
I want to root it, but when I go into recovery mode, it first shows the little android guy with gears for about 3 seconds, then goes to an android guy with a big yellow triangle and an exclamation point.
I'm assuming this means I have no recovery files... and since I have no way of getting them, how do I get them?
The tablet has 3.2.1, and build HTK75.us_epad-8.6.5.21-20111216

I believe the yellow triangle is the stock recovery.
Check post 7 from this thread, I think you will need to do the same.

Upgrade to ICS, use 1click root to root and install custom recovery. Once this is done you can use the newley installed custom recovery to install a newer TWRP version and install the katkis lolipop rom if you wish.
