Does anyone know if there is a way to get the the green android as the battery symbol on skyics?
I used it when I flashed the t989 revenge of macnut ROM.
Sorry if there is already information about this, but I didn't find anything for that here.
Apk manager and decompile then edit and recompile

Hi everybody! Does anybody know a way to install the stock Samsung Infuse clock (found in the S7 rom as "ClockPackage.apk" also in Darkys rom and other galaxy s based roms) in the CM7 rom for the Infuse?
I've tried copying the apk to the system/app folder and changing the permissions to match those of the stock android clock. Also tried just installing the apk straight up, no dice.
Any thoughts?
ps, I did a search of the forums, pls forgive me if I missed the answer to this question ^_^
Hi
I would like to have asked this question on the development thread but as i'm a new member i'm not allowed.
I am currently using the CyberGR ROM, which i'm finding excellent. However I would like to use this mod to remap the search key to recent apps
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21501238
This thread has mods for CM9 v3 or AOKP m3 or AOKP b26. I believe it only replaces android.policy.jar.
I would like to know whether i could use one of these mods with CyberGR-MOD 8.0? Does this ROM use android.policy.jar from any of the above versions?
Any help appreciated.
Adam
I cannot say for certain, but it might. The reason being that CyberGR-MOD is built on the CM9 and AOKP parts, as stated in the first bullet point of the main thread:
"Based and built-on from latest sources of CyanogenMOD 9 + AOKP Parts"
besides, it doesn't hurt to try it out yourself. download the mod, copy to your USB storage, do a NANdroid backup, and flash the mod to try it out. if something goes sideways, just restore the backup you just made.
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried this and con confirm that is does not work. I got into a boot loop after apply the mod for CM9 v3 and AOKP b26.
Hopefully this feature will be in the next CyberGR ROM version......
hey i got a quick question i was wondering if anbody could answer, lets say i like a certain theme from a different galaxy s2 device is possible to just download the rom from another forum the just take out the parts for example for the dialer from the files and them put theme in to this rom's files system ui or since im a modding noob, is there more to it than just that? i did take the blue att 4g lte logo and put it with the system ui that the mod had posted but with the white 4g logo

Hi all!
I've recently installed a CM10 Jelly Bean 4.1.2 based rom on my HTC Desire GSM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2017966 and I've been trying to figure out how to make the homescreen statusbar transparent, I've searched the web and these forums and tried different methods, but none of them have worked out so far, some because they're meant for previous Android OS versions and others because they're for specific moded roms (eg. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1890150).
So, my question is, does anyone know how to make the Statusbar (where the battery, signal, wifi indicators, etc are located) tranparent/semi-transparent on Jelly Bean..or more specifically CyanogenMod v10? What system files need to be modified (XML's, PNG's, APK's)?
If someone comes up with a working solution, it would be great to create a brief guide on how to achive it, I wouldn't mind doing it myself, as I'm sure there's other people trying to figure out the same....For me it's hard to believe that such a simple yet visually important tweak hasn't yet been figured out (aparantely) for one of the latest OS versions.
Thanks in advance!!
