How to unlock DS with htcdev, there is no DS in devices list, some one help please?

In the drop down menu at the bottom select "all other supported models". You would be better off just S-offing your device if your planning on trying a few Roms.
Hi
Please use other Devices at the end of the list.
Then read the instructions from Htc
Ahh after htc unlock the tool makes a hard reset !
After this you can root your device with One click root tool in half a minute.

I want too debrand my wifes One S so she can get more regular firmware updates from HTC
If I unlock the bootloader via HTC dev will I then be able to change the CID too HTC__001 so it will accept the open european RUU or can I just flash the rom.zip renamed to PJ40.IMG via fastboot and reach the same goal

Hi ,
Until we have S off we won't be able to change the CID .
If you look in the Dev section people are unlocking install recovery and installing ROMs from there .
No true debrand yet
Thanks for the reply ill wait then until s-off is possible she doesn't need or want custom recovery etc just a stock HTC with no network branding

Hi, I made that account especially to ask that question. The problem is that I wanted to unlock my phone via HTC Dev's unlocking soft but unfortunately i have higher RUU than the needed one I dunno how the hell could it happen but if you have any ideas how I can return to the stock RUU I would really aprecciate it. Thanks in advance.

Skip the step about RUU Update and continue unlocking via HTC Dev. No need to downgrade.
Thanks I'll try that later !

Check out this thread and go to the beginning I believe its bottom of page 82. There are step by step instruction for the HTC one S but your phone has to be the S4 Version of the One S and NOT the S3. I hope this helps you out!!
Copy and paste this in thread search..>>> [UNLOCK] AT&T Bootloader Unlock Through HTC-Dev
Once you're done with the above link then watch this YouTube tutorial on how to S-Off ...>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gqLugrz184

Hello, how is everyone? I just got this Boost Mobile One SV and I want to root and unlock the bootloader, you know all the cool stuff!! I see a couple guides but they are a little confusing as to what "brand" phone they will work with. I just don't want to be doing steps for a process that is not for the Boost model and mess this thing up, my girlfriend will kick my arse, lol. But really the only root guide I see just says it is for HTC One SV, I noticed the guides for the bootloader and other thing say they are for Specific "brands" and models. I have the Boost K2_CL so any held you can give or point me toward the right guide is much appreciated. Thanks
To unlock my bootloader I used HTC dev site and to go S-off I used moonshine
