Based on Endeavour Leak (HTC One X), using library/framework from the Virtuous S4X build 3 ROM by VirtuousTeam (www.virtuousrom.com). Resized to WVGA as little as this is possible currently, whichi means HTC widgets and Rosie homes are usable and scaled (but gfx is still huge in the binary m10 files, eating much memory unluckily...wvga would need only fourth of the size of 720p resolution HTC One X has. Also many apps still would need a resize, like Calendar/Weather/Gallery).

WARNINGS, ADVICES
- This is an Alpha leak for endeavour, so expect bugs and annoyances. I use it as daily driver, but there are annoyances. Sometimes, rarely a quick soft reboot might happen.
- DON'T EXPECT QUICK UPDATES. Wise move at the moment in sense 4 devving is to wait for HTC One V leak instead, which is a qualcomm device that will have Sense 4.0. Much smarter to wait for that stuff. (HTC One X is Tegra chip, so it's almost a miracle that it works on Sensation and mt4gs)
- DON'T use any other kernels with this, WON'T WORK! Even the pyroice kernels are not gonna work, i had to modify the init scripts in them to let this stuff boot.
- Camcorder DOESNT work
- Use MENU/BACK wake, or Power to wake your phone
- SEARCH button is APP SWITCHER button! (Long home doesnt work, cannot be fixed) Both SEARCH buttons had to be set App switcher, otherwise it didn't work, don't ask for the secondary Search button, it can't happen
- Phone call screen needs resize, You can't access the END CALL button easily, its overlapped with other icons. WORKAROUND: Settings/Accessibility: set Power button ends Call. And there you go, hang up with Power button.
- In Rosie the lowest row of Apps is not easily accessible, half covered. It needs resize yet. User SEARCH icon on top of Rosie, to search for the app you want to start as a workaround. Another workaround: in apps press menu: Edit tabs and remove Frequent and the other icon, leave all apps icon only. Buttons will disappear and you have all app icons visible!!
- Slight lags on scrolling, fast movements. Some transient glitches here and there while switch apps etc.
- Don't use Camera in burst mode, it will render it unusuable after a few pictures taken, and it won't really be burst shots either, just single shots. If you cant take pictures after a while (burst mode triggered this for me), reboot
- Bluetooth works, but you must switch the your bt device to Pairing mode, otherwise it wont appear in the list. After, you must go into the paired Bluetooth devices settings and tap the service you want to use. After this, reconnection should work next time, without repairing.
- Bluetooth remote control doesnt seem to work here
- Video playback is choppy
- The HTC Touch keyboard in prediction mode is scrumbling words...use preinstalled ICS keyboard instead, or switch of prediction for HTC Touch (Settings/Input)
- DON'T remove any desktops of the 7 default desktops from your Rosie Home screen, otherwise it will crash later AND you will lose the Dock icons permanently, until you wipe the HTC Sense app's data in Titanium Backup
- YOU CAN'T replace Dock icons, so don't even try, you won't be able to put any icons back. You can remove them, but not put back. If you borked it, wipe HTC Sense app data in Titanium Backup, and you start with a fresh home.
- It's adviced to make a nandroid backup after you set up everything. So far, here it's quite stable a ROM (apart from a lot of memory shortage), but if a warm bootloop might happen for some reason and you get corrupted, nandroid backup will come handy.
- After a while, memory (especially GPU memory), will get too low and too garbaged, and you will have to reboot, if you want to run more than one apps at a time.
- wallpapers are tricky in Rosie, you should create a larger image to have the center of the wallpaper on your homescreen. Seems buggy (it is in the Sensation ports as well, afaik)
- Videochat apps will crash (gtalk video chat, google hangout, skype ect.)
- Sometimes i got stuck with the Screen ON, and couldnt switch it off with Power button. Found out that Pressing POWER + VolDown + Trackpad makes screen off, and it fixes it, you can use the phone fine again after that.
- Standard widgets will appear half downsized (rosie resize was done in a non-perfect way, Sense 4.0 m10 file format doesn't have an editor tool, it was pure luck that i finally got a way to resize it for the htc widgets at least), so it's advices to use the HTC widgets mostly.
- SD card USB storage mounting: use dualmount sd market app, or the scripts found in the other Pyroice threads.
- Many heavy apps, especially 3d might freeze / crash.
- GPS works here
- And one last good news: No mono music bug with this rom (couldn't fix that with thy Pyroice Sense 3.6)

Btw the camera has some very nice effects (click on magnifier)
Also don't forget to switch off the auto burst in camera settings menu (burst shot will render camera stuck after a few images taken, till reboot)

So I was really curious about this rom so I flashed it and used it for about 2 hours and I love it...... It is so beaatiful and is full of new features the possibilities for this are great. Mind you I flashed back to pyrosense cuz this is far from being a daily driver yet but I am very excited

Amazing! God, all the Sense haters should see Sense 4.0.
For being a Alpha is pretty great, just a lot of RAM issues. Even using a script, RAM Manager, or AutoKiller won't help.

I use it as a daily for now, aware that some of the heavire 3d apps just won't start. The culprit of this tegra chip/720p stuff is that the mode10 files cannot be modded yet to downsize them (and the gfx is just 4 times bigger in bytes than wvga would have), and that the graphical allocatr/ hardware composer cannot be fully the sensation ones. So I don't plan on fixing this rom with updates. I'm waiting for other leaks that are for qualcomm devices (one s or one v). And then overhaul this totally.
Camera can't be used on sense 3.6, depends much on sense 4 framework.

The most noticeable change that people will see is the work that is being done to port Espresso's Rosie over to Fresh ROM. I really like the look of the new Rosie and therefore am putting it in here. If you don't like it never fear. I can assure you that someone will put together a standard rosie theme that will put you back to all green. The pre-kitchen is 100% compatible with this rom. You will see that some parts of the rom are blue while some are green. This is exactly how the Espresso dump is. In fact the espresso dump is even worse! But freshlyill is working hard to spread it out to more applications. We'll post an update when it's ready.

Known Issues:

Flashing this rom should keep all of your personal settings and should not wipe anything but you are doing it at your own risk. I make no promises on what may happen to your device and your data. This also means that unlike winmo, it's not going to look different after you flash. It will look just as it was before hand.
Requirements:
A rooted CDMA HTC Hero by Sprint. RA's recovery loaded on. If you have any questions on that then please visit one of the other various threads on here about how to root your phone.
How to use it:
0. Create a nandroid backup!
1. Copy this rom (do not unzip) to the root of your sdcard using one of the various methods.
2. Go to the recovery program by either typing "reboot recovery" from an adb shell or by powering off the phone and holding Home while you power it on.
3. Scroll down to "Apply sdcard: choose zip" and select the zipped rom. Press the home button to confirm you want to write it.
4. After it finishes (takes several minutes) click "Reboot system now".

my rant about apps2sd:
**My note about Apps2SD: I added support for it in this release of the rom because people who were using it in other roms that tried to install this rom were receiving errors. Here's my point of view on it.
I played with it for over 8 hours today between implementing it and then testing it to make sure this fix would work. I have personally come to not like apps2sd, but I am including it for those who use it.
The reason I don't like it is because it puts your phone at a huge risk of having problems once anything goes wrong. If you install a program that causes issues, a nandroid backup will not resolve the issue because the application is installed on your SD card not your phone. If your phone starts going crazy as reported here and here, then even just a restore possibly won't fix it. You might need to go as far as to wipe your SD card too. If you are lucky enough to have a restore fix your problems you will still need to reinstall every app, even if you didn't wipe your card. And on top of that when you try to reinstall any app it will think it's still installed, even though you restored your phone. But when you click "uninstall" it will just freeze half the time because there's nothing on the phone for it to actually install. I have also read many threads that say if you happen to boot the phone up without the SD card in then it will screw everything up.
So now maybe you are wondering why I would add Apps2SD support in this rom. In order for people who are currently using Apps2SD to upgrade to this rom I must support it or require them to do a hard reset before coming to fresh. Clearly I don't want you to have to reset so I have supported it. With that said: I personally recommend not using it. This rom will auto-use it if your SD card is formatted for it (fat32+ext2+swap partitions) but it won't use it if you are only partitioned as 1 fat32. My suggestion is to stick to the 1 partition and let your applications install on the phone. Linux is not like Windows in the sense that it will run the same whether you phone has 140 megs free of storage space or 10 megs free. So unless you plan on installing 100 apps, I don't see the practical purposes of using Apps2SD. But a lot of people like it.
Now with all of THAT said -- this rom officially has and supports Apps2SD. It is a program that I think has the possibility of being great, but has to work within the confines of the phone which means tricking Android in to thinking that the applications are installed on the phone when they aren't. That is what leads to all the problems mentioned above.

freaking sprint.... I tell ya... I love their customer service... coverage... phone plans... price..... and phones.... but holy mother of god do their updates just freaking suck.... how long did it take for the first "good" instinct update? like 6 months? Made the phone somewhat useable but still lacking... ugh

been running this rom for a couple mins not bad at all. good thing i backup my paid apps for such occasions.
There haven't been too many releases lately, so I've been waiting for this rom like a crack addict.
The fact that paid-apps are missing is keeping me from flashing it.
Awesome work though Eugene, I'll def be flashing the next release.

you can backup your apps (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5217198&postcount=4) then just install them.. unless you buy apps EVERYDAY.

I just Posted That, As I've not truly Tested it...
The Phone I'm using ( G1 ) has no Sim Card, and Figured it would just be easier to say it didn't work, then to say Paid Apps work w/o Testing it...
Glad to know Paid Apps are working, can anyone else confirm this as well?

Just flashed and booted into this. As of this post, it's still syncing with Google for contacts, calendar, and email. (The latter of which it got fairly quickly.) i'm still giving it time to sync up, but from what I can tell it's responsive after you get through the setup process, but that you only need to limp through once.
During setup I got some kind of crash out of HTC Media, but I ignored it and considered it unimportant. Haven't heard anything out of it since.
I haven't put it through it's paces just yet, though. We'll see how it goes from here.

Flashed after doing full wipes on my G1. It asked me to link to my google account about 10 times, then altter the Setup Wizard crashed and after a reboot it had my information already so it let me go through.
I linked my facebook account and the messages were being displayed correctly, all was working good.
One thing I could not get to work was SU permissions. Did everything to try and make it work but it just wouldn't show anything, no FC it just didn't start the application.
Looks great overall and after disabling some animations and widgets it was running smooth (no more random FC).
Can't wait to see this with less bugs. Great work!

Re-Wipe Data/Cache /SD/EXT & Dalvik, then Re-install. As you shouldn't had those error's.
Also, Download terminal & type SU to verify if su is working correctly. Just did it on my build installed on the g1, and SU is working fine.

I did and it was working after the next reboot.
I'm actually testing the trojan hero build and I have to admit it's really good. I'll install that on my brothers phone, looks really stable and bug free, been looking for that for a while. nice work man.

Ok, here is how it works on my phone (32A, 1.76.2007 SPL, 6.35.08.29 RADIO):
- live wallpaper doesn't work, works in preview, but setting it doesn't work, it reboots
- it has some slowdowns, but couldn't figure out when.. sometimes things works really smooth, but then again they don't
- FC on lanucher (crashes a lot), also had CF when I signed to gmail at first boot, but I could still enter everything normaly. VoiceSearch FC on boot. Also had problems with entering SIM number once, couldn't enter anything.
- sometimes everything just stops (ie. when exiting the camera), reboots so I need to unlock sim again...
- camera... it works, but when I make a photo, it's scrambled, but it saves correctly. Video gets saved, but playback doesn't work in camera or gallery
- when scrolling my installed programs, it's kinda weird that icons don't get clipped, but only get shown when they appear.. I dunno how to explain this, yet scrolling works supersmooth
I installed on FAT32 (didn't want to format my SD just yet).
Basicaly all things beside home screen work nice. Home screen is laggy and crashes, but I guess this will be fixed.
But I still somehow prefer Sense, so I'll wait for your Hero ROM... I can't go without that calendar widget, clock with weather and few other HTC widgets

Maybe a dumb question: how do I partition it without losing my data? If I format my SD, roms won't be on it....
- if I format my card and then do nand backup, will that work? I quess then I can boot and copy roms via USB and then reinstall your ROM... right?
- if I format my SD to fat/ext/swap will other roms (like current CursorSense) recognise and find that FAT? Because then I could copy stuff from SD to my Mac, format the SD and copy stuff back to FAT partition, right?

It's working really fast and stable. The live wallpapers (only 2 working, from the ones i tried) are amazing, and the nexus one gallery is awesome.
Keep it up, this rom is really, really good, correct the bugs and it is going to be a winner.

Did some more testing.
Wifi working, 3G working, GPS working.
Google Maps could be 4.0, but you told it would be updated.
Youtube works ok on wifi.
Camera works fine for pictures, you get a black&white scrambled screen when you take a photo, but it's working just fine.
Video has some problems as described above.

I just partitioned my card (first time) and will try again... I will test those things you said, ahmgsk.
EDIT: youtube works (wifi only), 3D gallery too... seems also a tiny bit faster with partitioned SD, not sure though
Cant wake up after sleep
Firstly i love the work you've done and are doing with these ROMS, Im having an issue with your 2.0/2.1 ROMS for the new radio..when the phone goes into "sleep" or "stand by" it wont wake up and need to pull the battery...i think its just the screen failing to turn on as the lights on the keys light but not the screen and logcat show scrren-1 then show screen-0
i have tried wiping, re-flashing, re-downloading and checking MD5 with no change
any help appreciated, thanks

Installation:
Install using a recovery that support old nandroid backups. this is the edition with only 1 MD5 file.
BATTERY SAVING HELP
some good guidelines to a long battery life.
1. Wifi when enabled, is not disabled when phones goes standby, go into Wifi menu, and press menu -> advanced, and change wifi power saving behaviour to as example after 15mins, this increases battery saving alot.
2. If you dont use 3G at all, disable 3G in the Mobile data setting it to GSM ONLY network, this will also increase battery life.
3. If you start DLNA feature of this ROM, and dont use it anymore, enter "administer programs" -> running services and stop the DLNA service, HTC made some stupid scanning feature which takes up alot of CPU and phone starts lagging alot too.
Using this guideline you gain almost 5 days of pure standby time without loss of battery charge, which i can confirm here.

you cannot reset to defaults.. no factory reset with this image..
you need to restore the image, to start from scratch if you wish to start over again...

i mean if you open photo gallery or other programs, you see wrong switcher icons on bottom.on the motosense 0.5 is these programs more correct.

ok, not really a problem, just that htc has 800x480 we got 854x480.. im working on it.. as the graphics are now native size, their way of handling it is different so fixing is different.
but thanks for reporting and testing.
im hoping to have a fix ready with this later today.

Confirmed: wifi isn't working. My network is detected, it tries to connect, but it can't get a (dinamic) IP address.
Dexter's works is absolutely amazing, but my opinion is that these HTC ports are unusable on Milestone due to the memory issue. The home screen reloading is very annoying to use on a day-to-day basis.

i think now your problems are related to the encryption protocol? and not IP related? because it really runs stable here even with almost 2 days rebooting and playing, network has not been a problem.
but you are partly correct, i should sell my milestone and get a samsung galaxy S and port it that model.. it has the screen and 512MB ram, so probably much better, and screen is a match to htc too.
and yes, not a htc and probably closer to htc ace than desire would be.

you're talking WinMobile? get yourself a Galaxy S, thats a much better model within your brand.

its the perfect upgrade for this rom, I recommend moving to inquisition instead of using this. I've released some fixes for that rom, which are not available for this older rom.

TRICKS HOW TO USE THIS ROM:
- Gps tip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22762887&postcount=165
- Pattern or other secure lock screen option: Use Menu button to wake the phone, otherwise you will have to Slide first before the secure unlocking.
- Screen on (trackpad wake replacement): you can press Power button, but the Menu and Back button will also wake the phone (not the trackpad yet, to be fixed in keylayout/keychar).
- Wifi tethering: read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21409748&postcount=564
- SDCard will be scanned only on the second boot after fresh install normally, so Music apps will see your music on the second time. After that works as it should.
- symbols symbols key doesn't work, when set in keylayout it makes home button useless and doesn't work itself. Use Alt + Space instead (thx overhauling for the tip)
- Forced 2d GPU - highly recommended to set this on in Settings/dev options, it makes most apps scrolling butter smooth, but some older apps might not like it (apps too small sized) (thx Overhauling)
- Angry birds - you gotta tap/multitouch and zoom in/out in the starting screen first, to get it starting to accept taps. Otherwise, single touch taps wont do anything at start!!
- Contacts look up: if on first setup after it, typing names doesnt look up contacts try this: "I can confirm that this worked for me to get contact search by name working correctly while composing an SMS. I removed my Google account from the sync menu, waited a few min, then added my Google account back in the sync menu."

If you want more AOSP (htc camera is included in this rom, which is better in some ways, but some prefer AOSP look) then there's an AOSP looking ICS camera on market with Ads, which works pretty nice (after a second start, first it might freeze, second it should work from that on.) Look up mobylinx "Camera ICS"
Wallpaper will be garbled on first start, don't worry, just choose your own when setup completed.
Also will start in Afrikaans lang but on first page you can choose your language, english etc

well, i might take a look at this later, when it stable and all, and see how people like this version. spent a lot of time on this one, going to see how community likes it...taking some break, im a bit tired after latenights doing hackin testing.

DSP never worked, it was just able to be used. Never adjusted the DSP.
