[ROM][Mar 16 2012] Pyr'o'Ice ICS Desensed 1.1.3 - Android 4.0.3, AOSPish, 1.5GHz OC - T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

For updates check http://www.virtuousrom.com/ since i joined VirtuousROM team. Look for Virtuous Inquisition.
its the perfect upgrade for this rom, I recommend moving to inquisition instead of using this. I've released some fixes for that rom, which are not available for this older rom.
kernel sources:
https://github.com/TeamDS/htc-kernel-doubleshot_26
pyr'o'ice ICS desensed 1.1.3 - AOSPish, ICS Android 4.0.3
A Pyramid HTC ICS ROM conversion based on the leaked ROM. Ported from the published rom by RCTeam and using a lot from the desensed rom by virtuous team (Virtuous Inquisition), tweaked a lot to work with mt4gs. http://www.virtuousrom.com/
ICS AOSP 4.0.3 apps/gapps / Nova launcher beta 15 on htc's pyramid ICS framework and kornyone's HTC doubleshot kernel hacked / merged by me for sensation porting quirks. ICS gapps preinstalled.
It's using HTC Camera app (aosp doesnt work to full extent with the HTC libs that this ROM bases on, later i'll add an Addon with the AOSP one that replaces this).
Kernel with kineto, tun, encryption and cifs support.
FLASH IT AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU MIGHT BRICK YOUR PHONE! (I DID NOT, BUT BE WARNED!)
0., Use latest CWM recovery and be S-off
1., Copy to SDcard
2., Full wipe needed
3., install the zip
4., After first boot, let the media scan (music) settle to fill your music apps and galleries, and read the TRICKS part below for useful tips.
Wallpaper will be garbled on first start, don't worry, just choose your own when setup completed.
Also will start in Afrikaans lang but on first page you can choose your language, english etc
5., Read this first post all through for a lot of information that might come handy!!
IF YOU'RE S-ON Unlocked, YOU HAVE TO USE FASTBOOT TO FLASH KERNEL(boot.img): Unzip the Installer on PC, look for the file 'boot.img', get fastboot installed on PC. Boot your Phone into Bootloader/Fastboot. Plug in USB, and when phone is in Fastboot USB, type: fastboot flash boot boot.img - S-On boot.img HOW TO by Limewirelord, thx, here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1508556
Stable, most stuff works with the known limitations, and it runs stable.
CHANGELOG: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22708819&postcount=2
WARNING: DON'T SELECT System Settings / Wireless&networks More / Tethering&Portable Hotspot / Portable WIFI-Hotspot!!! It will freeze/reboot in cycle your phone!!! Use Barnacle + OpenGarden wifit tethering market apps instead, it works.
- DON'T TRY 1080p or MMS size in Video recording please, it doesnt work, and after it will make exit the Camera app when you try to take picture. If you did, a Reboot will fix it
- MUTE IN SPEAKER MODE CALLING DOESNT WORK!! Thanks BiggJurk for reporting. Going to look at this later.
- DON'T switch the location gps satellite off in Sys setting/location!! If you switch it off and then later on, gps won't turn on anymore, till u reboot!!
- skype doesnt send your picture just garbled, reception is good. Notes for Google hangout: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22901207&postcount=327
CREDITS:
- kornyone for the kernel base
- virtuous team for the Inquisition rom base http://www.virtuousrom.com/
- Kernel was based off of Kornyione's kernel and kernel tree of romanbb. Credit goes to him for his masterwork. Thank you, Kornyone!
Also to romanbb for his OC/UV kernel tree on github. Thanks!
- Teslacoil for Nova beta launcher
TRICKS HOW TO USE THIS ROM:
- Gps tip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22762887&postcount=165
- Pattern or other secure lock screen option: Use Menu button to wake the phone, otherwise you will have to Slide first before the secure unlocking.
- Screen on (trackpad wake replacement): you can press Power button, but the Menu and Back button will also wake the phone (not the trackpad yet, to be fixed in keylayout/keychar).
- Wifi tethering: read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21409748&postcount=564
- SDCard will be scanned only on the second boot after fresh install normally, so Music apps will see your music on the second time. After that works as it should.
- symbols symbols key doesn't work, when set in keylayout it makes home button useless and doesn't work itself. Use Alt + Space instead (thx overhauling for the tip)
- Forced 2d GPU - highly recommended to set this on in Settings/dev options, it makes most apps scrolling butter smooth, but some older apps might not like it (apps too small sized) (thx Overhauling)
- Angry birds - you gotta tap/multitouch and zoom in/out in the starting screen first, to get it starting to accept taps. Otherwise, single touch taps wont do anything at start!!
- Contacts look up: if on first setup after it, typing names doesnt look up contacts try this: "I can confirm that this worked for me to get contact search by name working correctly while composing an SMS. I removed my Google account from the sync menu, waited a few min, then added my Google account back in the sync menu."

changelog of 1.1.3 (no wipe needed if coming from 1.1.2)
- Includes latest Adreno driver update
- Removed Menu button wake as it caused unwanted 'switch-on's (Back button wake remains)
- Fixed multitouch and other touchscreen game problems (Extreme Roadtrip, Shadowgun etc.)
changelog of 1.1.2 (no full wipe is required from 1.1.1 or 1.1.0)
- SMS longer than 160 chars now sends from standard SMS app
- Lockscreen ICS controls for Google Music works, cover art appears now
- Pin/Pattern timeout is fixed
- Theme fixes (e.g. text cursor ICS blue)
Credits to VirtuousRom Team
changelog of 1.1.1 (from 1.1.1) wipe is not required from 1.1.0, otherwise full wipe.
- Fixes missing GPS service (fix-1)
- Fixes SMS and Google Voice issues (fix-2)
changelog of 1.1.0 (from 1.0.2):
- Rebasing to newer HTC Sensation leak, 3.24.401.1 + Camcorder now fixed with that new base (tricky fix)
- Incorporating Virtuous Inquisition 3.1.0 beta changes, namely:
---- AOSP Phone/Call-in screen
---- AOSP Pin screen
---- AOSP systemui -> notification bar with Quick settings like CM9
---- Power menu Volume settings (long power button press)
---- additional settings in System Settings (toggles, battery etc.)
- Signal strength sign working with AOSP systemui
- CM9 music player and Google Music player
- From now on '1.5GHz overclocked slightly UV' is the kernel coming with installer
- Bluetooth issues should/might be lessened. Please test.
- All features working that worked in previous base/release 1.0
- No more need to Slide/Unlock to see Caller ID
- Moving back to Nova launcher. (Trebuchet was devouring 3D memory, apps couldn't start)
- Boot Manager Pro still works fine, developed using that
- Wificalling addon here in this thread. Please test.
Full wipe required coming from any ROM or former version
At first boot its going to let you choose language in setup, sorry right now it starts in Afrikaans, just choose your language
DO NOT use Pyroice ICS 1.0.x addons with this.
But you can use the latest Pyroice Kernels already released (kernel version 1.0.2/1.0.3).

KERNELS:
- Slight UV fallback to this if troubles with Middle 2% battery spare
http://www.4shared.com/zip/5Pq4QL8h/pyr-o-ice-105-OCUV-kernel-v1-s.html
- Middle UV fallback to this if troubles with Extreme 5% battery spare
http://www.4shared.com/zip/Rs7eRSp4/pyr-o-ice-105-OCUV-kernel-v3-m.html
CAREFUL WITH THIS LAST ONE, WONT HARM YOUR PHONE, BUT THE Undervoltage (while eats less battery) in many cases might cause reboot or blackout:
- Extremely UV (careful with this, might cause screen blackouts on some devices) 8% battery spare
http://www.4shared.com/zip/eZSDl5fa/pyr-o-ice-105-OCUV-kernel-v2-e.html
From recovery, no wipe needed. ROM comes with the Slightly UV version.
ADDON:
Wificalling addon - please test:
-- this here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22563307&postcount=156 seems to work better, tho its not perfect
-- this is another reported to work not (invalid sim):
http://www.4shared.com/zip/qB_C7XYn/pyroice-ics-110-wificalling-v1.html
md5sum f112950238c15e4b0f38443d7406cd9f pyroice-ics-1.1.0-wificalling-v1.zip
Flash in recovery, reboot, try.
tbalden's Bruteforce TVout app http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1484165
two way call recording enabled kernel (middle-UV only as of now):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23158030&postcount=450
If you want more AOSP (htc camera is included in this rom, which is better in some ways, but some prefer AOSP look) then there's an AOSP looking ICS camera on market with Ads, which works pretty nice (after a second start, first it might freeze, second it should work from that on.) Look up mobylinx "Camera ICS"

Wallpaper will be garbled on first start, don't worry, just choose your own when setup completed.
Also will start in Afrikaans lang but on first page you can choose your language, english etc

DONE. Sorry again. (next time to remember : shouldnt rely on Bootmanager Pro that much while developing new rom it doesnt run scripts just unzips . )

Now that undeadk9 is gone from the DS community, I'll be moving back here permanently.
I guess I'll have to restart the download for that installer fix.
Now that this rom has cyanogenmod music player, does that mean it has DSPmanager too? Undead had managed to include that app in his liquid ics.

BATTERY SAVING HELP
some good guidelines to a long battery life.
1. Wifi when enabled, is not disabled when phones goes standby, go into Wifi menu, and press menu -> advanced, and change wifi power saving behaviour to as example after 15mins, this increases battery saving alot.
2. If you dont use 3G at all, disable 3G in the Mobile data setting it to GSM ONLY network, this will also increase battery life.
3. If you start DLNA feature of this ROM, and dont use it anymore, enter "administer programs" -> running services and stop the DLNA service, HTC made some stupid scanning feature which takes up alot of CPU and phone starts lagging alot too.
Using this guideline you gain almost 5 days of pure standby time without loss of battery charge, which i can confirm here.

STATE OF FUNCTIONALITY
ISSUES Reported by users
- less space left in storage /data (approx. 120MB)
- Native AP teeter do not work
- Locations app removed, (incompatible with milestone hardware and its 256MB memory)

ok, not really a problem, just that htc has 800x480 we got 854x480.. im working on it.. as the graphics are now native size, their way of handling it is different so fixing is different.
but thanks for reporting and testing.
im hoping to have a fix ready with this later today.
New update v0.1 being uploaded..
Features full USB support, graphics fix and GPS is working now..
so the bluetooth remains to be solved (required hard programming work to fix)

Confirmed: wifi isn't working. My network is detected, it tries to connect, but it can't get a (dinamic) IP address.
Dexter's works is absolutely amazing, but my opinion is that these HTC ports are unusable on Milestone due to the memory issue. The home screen reloading is very annoying to use on a day-to-day basis.
Thanks.
Regards.
Will we EVER see a Froyo port for Omnia i8000? I mean, CMON...HD2 gets everything...give us something too
the update is useful. I will use it daily. thanks dexter..

i think now your problems are related to the encryption protocol? and not IP related? because it really runs stable here even with almost 2 days rebooting and playing, network has not been a problem.
but you are partly correct, i should sell my milestone and get a samsung galaxy S and port it that model.. it has the screen and 512MB ram, so probably much better, and screen is a match to htc too.
and yes, not a htc and probably closer to htc ace than desire would be.

v1.0.1 Stable Changelog:
-Fixed wifi signal indicator
-ROM Manager now comes pre-installed in the full release (in /data/app so you can remove it easily if you want)
-Used a new app to create updater-scripts (hopefully not a single soul has flashing woes now)

-Updated ROM Manager
Addon extravaganza! [4/24]:
New addons: enable CRT screen on/off animations (thanks capychimp!) and enable overscoll glow (HTC green or AOSP yellow)
New section in ROM Manager that allows you to easily remove any addons you installed. Now you can give them all a try without worrying about how you're going to get rid of them in case you don't like them!
Capychimp fixed a bug in his CRT screen on/off animations addon that wouldn't let you power off your phone
More addons and cleanup [4/25]:
-New addons
Addons are now available that allow you to enable overscroll glow and disabled battery percent display at the same time.
New option in the Remove Addons section of ROM Manager that allows you to revert to the stock Inspired Saga kernel (since the first OC kernel for Gingerbread Sense has now been made available).
-Addon cleanup/fixes
Removed build prop from addons so they aren't version specific. Not sure why I was doing that before, but I'll be able to release updates a lot easier now that I don't have to resign the addons with a new build prop every time I update.
Optimized addon updater-scripts - addons will install a little faster now
-Fixed a bug in the ROM Manager flashing process that could leave you with a build prop from v1.0.1 if the flash was unsuccessful.
Full, Clean Installation Instructions:
Note: This is a Gingerbread release and thus requires Clockwork Recovery 3.x.x.x. A few have reported flashing issues with recent versions of CWR, so if you have issues try rolling back to 3.0.2.5 or 3.0.0.6.
1. Download ROM Manager from the Market.
2. Go to "Download ROM", select my section (gtg465x), and select the latest release.
3. When you get to the "Installation Type" prompt, select "Full".
4. Select your addons and follow the on screen prompts.
5. When you get to the "ROM Pre-Installation" prompt, select "Wipe Data and Cache".
6. Press OK and hold your breath.
v1.1 RC1 or RC2 - v1.1 Stable Upgrade Instructions:
1. Download ROM Manager from the Market.
2. If you own a ROM Manager Premium license you can either wait for an update notification or just select Check for ROM Updates within the app. For everyone else, go to "Download ROM", select my section (gtg465x), and select v1.1.
3. When you get to the "Installation Type" prompt, select the appropriate update.
4. Select your addons and follow the on screen prompts.
5. When you get to the "ROM Pre-Installation" prompt, you don't need to select anything unless you really want to.
6. Press OK and hold your breath.

I was wondering when someone was going to build a GB Sense build, built specifically for the Inspire. Good job and good luck with your ROM .
If you have no network connectivity on first boot then you probably forgot to mount /system before flashing. This will be fixed in the next update.
gtg465x said:
False alarm. Flash away. If you have no network connectivity on first boot and it doesn't immediately ask you to select your carrier first thing after the HTC loading screen, just wipe and flash again (and possibly make sure system is mounted in CWM?).

Sorry, there's a small bug in the updater-script. For now you need to select mount /system after wiping and before flashing. I'll fix that in the next update. Also, the HTC logo will display for a long time on first boot and first unlock as caches are building and everything is getting set up.
It worked great using ROM Manager. Nice Work.
Looks like a very nice rom and that you spent some time to get it right. Will give it a go over the weekend.
Thanks for your work!
Great Rom
Just flashed it and so far this rom is great. Thanks for contributing and keep it up.

Sorry, not sure what to tell you. They work fine for me. Are you in the US? Are you trying to use your phone? Give me another place to mirror it and I will, but multiupload hits 6 different sites.
haha you must have read my mind! today i was thinking about how awesome it would be to have a stock 2.3 rom. (no joke i really was) i will try this out tonight! im just getting tired of cyanogenmod and android revolution
also how fast are the data speeds and hows battery life?

Data speeds are the fastest I've seen. Battery is supposedly pretty good on most Gingerbread Sense ROMs, but we'll see.
Awesome rom. Data speed is stupidly fast. Stable as hell. Great job!!

[DISCONTINUED][MAR.16]HyperNonSense-v1.5 (ICS)|base 3.32.401.5 - Small, fast

23rd March 2012 - Message from the developer here
I believe that our Sensation can do a lot more / be a lot faster / and therefore we can be more productive than with the Sense ROMs.
CM7 for the Sensation is not there yet, so without further ado, I present a ROM with Sense, but with everything working that is needed (excellent Camera, SD card speeds just fine, etc)
I also like to customize my own apps in a given ROM, so any simple/minimalistic ROM is a plus for me.
I therefore present to all who like this approach my very own HyperNonSense ROM release, built from scratch by me.

FAQ
Q: I get Force Closes, Media does not show, random errors, etc.
A: Follow my flashing guide in THIS post. I have no trouble with HyperNonSense after these steps.
Aww I just finished installing my Rom and its time to flash it again lol thanks for your work this section has felt dead.

Lol heyyyyyyyy awesome! I'll download this tomorrow. 4.1.7 is sense 3.5 base right?
Just 2 questions-
Does this also come with faux 025 kernel tweaked by mike?
Is the volume bar a slider thing? (like sense 3 has a bar that moves up and down only and you can use the touch screen while its there but sense 3.5 has a slider thingy in the volume bar which I think is ridiculous and absolutely hate cos you can't use the rest of the touch screen like normal every time you change the earphone volume.... Its the one thing that keeps me away from sense 3.5.. Is it possible to just get the normal volume bar? Like sense 3 and cm7)
Awesome! I love your minimalistic rom but prefer to have the Sense Camera (and some sense apps like message and dialer also) this rom is definitely what im longing for! Thanks a lot!!!
Rom looks good be running now for a bit setting it up its fast, my only suggestions or request i would say, more quick settings in notification bar pull down, itd be nice to have the notification bar tweaks like the other sense 3.5 roms, beats mod, amaze camara, unless those can just be flashed. Other then that this is exactly what i been looking for now that the old senseless roms have no update.

I am already looking into extended quick settings. Beats addon should work, just try installing it. I do not like the Amaze camera, as its cumbersome to change settings from normal to HDR pictures.

[ROM][ICS] CM9-based Port [Updated: Nov 5th '12]

CyanogenMod 9 (Ice Cream Sandwich) based port for HTC Liberty ("Aria/Gratia")
This is a port of CM9 (Ice Cream Sandwich) started by me for Liberty
Currently in Beta
Big thanks to:
CyanogenMod Team
Ganster41 (hardware video decoding)
gladiac(aka modpunk on xda) & Droste from marvel (EGL & HW acceleration, camera, GPS, kernel, and probably more)
munjeni (GPS, EGL & HW acceleration)
s0be (EGL & HW acceleration, kernel)
Qualcomm (ARMv6 ICS GPU drivers needed for EGL & HW acceleration)
Everyone who has shared their working ICS source
Screenshots: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1077120/Android/ICSshots/index.html
Working:
Pretty much everything not listed below
Partially working:
Backlight for navigation buttons (on static brightness) - Turns off with the screen, and only comes back on when the brightness is changed
Camcorder - Effects don't work, time lapse doesn't work, only one resolution @ 15fps
Default camera app will output bad video. Use another app for camcoder until this is fixed
Panorama - Slow, preview freezes after capturing (switching to camera/camcorder then back will unfreeze it)
Not working:
Voice search and voice button on keyboard
Solution: delete /system/app/VoiceSearch.apk & download Voice Search from the Play Store
Known bugs (that aren't listed above):
USB Mass Storage pops up in front of everything when USB is plugged in, and after "Preparing SD card" is done (while plugged in)
Sound behavior with headphones/headset plugged in:
Not sure if ICS is like this by design or not, but ringtones notifications and alarms are played through both the headset/headphones and the back speaker.
Media (like music or videos) is only played through the headset/headphones
Mobile data notification tray toggle: Sticks on enabled, but it still toggles the data correctly
Not sure if this is a problem with the button on CM's end, or if it's Liberty-specific.
Hitting another button will fix it
Inserting an SD card while running will sometimes show as damaged. A reboot will fix it
Watching videos for too long can crash the whole system
Emergency calling is untested

Install Guide:
Recovery version 5.* would probably be best
Old bootloader from 2.1 Eclair:
- Update to 2.2 Froyo and S-OFF - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1159237
Clean install (from CM7, sense, or any other ROM):
- wipe data/factory reset
- Install ROM package
- Install Google Apps package (optional)
Update from previous CM9 build:
- Install ROM package
- Reinstall Google Apps package (if previously installed)
Normal cache isn't used for anything that persists through reboots (from what I can tell), and the Dalvik cache is updated as needed upon booting (that's what the "Android is upgrading..." message is doing)
The ROM package is supposed to restore Google Apps, but doesn't sometimes, so I added that as a step
Tips & tricks:
FM Radio: Use Spirit FM (and allow any root requests)
Trackball wake:
Open Terminal Emulator and type:
Code:
trackballwake
then reboot.
To disable it, run the same thing again.
Release history:
BETA 7 - November 5th, 2012
--- Fixed USB debugging running while disabled
--- Trackball wake has been switched to a script (run "trackballwake" from Terminal Emulator)
--- Working hardware video decoding (huge thanks to Ganster41!)
- CM Team:
--- Lots? I haven't been keeping track of changes to CM9 (or even looking at them) since I started working on CM10
BETA 6 - July 19th, 2012

--- Themes

Agreed. I need to figure out/find an app similar to S2E that is compatible with ICS.
Hey Win... I've fixed the speed issue updated some egl stuff. Boot loader works now and its amazingly smooth. Still occasional lag but it could possibly turn into a daily driver. Care if I upload? =]

Very nice! I used Ginger gapps first and had lots of sync/fc issues. Reflashed and ran ICS gapps and had no issues as reported, almost daily driveable!

Did you change it through source code or just the zip?
Would be awesome if I can use it too and boot loader?.....boot animation?
I think it should be kept to just one main CM9/ICS rom... I've seen devices with like 5... so confusing
If you still want to post it, you can in this thread..
PS: Found something else that doesn't really work... wifi sleep
Zip... ill upload tommorow am sleeply lol. But I just used the egl stuff from the wildfire port... works nice. It let me play laggy angry birds haha
And I meant boot animation... feel like a dumby now xD

Hmm....cool
I tried it from some other devices, but it didn't even boot... guess it wasn't the same adreno200
Mind if I put it in mine?
Go ahead. Check out arco's github for wildfire. He got some stuff there.

Good luck! He's a pretty cool guy. Much like yourself. Glad to see there's someone working on this who knows how to modify stuff

Minor update uploaded
Fix for atmel touchscreens
Trackball now works as it did in Gingerbread (button on it isn't working great though)
Partial EGL fix using software rendering (slow)
Full details in the main post
Downloading apps from market isn't working for me.
NVM worked
great progress on the build and thank you besides the ics gapps needing fixed and the graphics errors the only main thing i need working is a version of s2e or dtapps2sd that works with ics
I've been running this latest all day, seems like you have smoothed out many of the bugs with gapps for ICS. I flashed both fresh before first boot and everything went very smooth, restored all my cm7 apps. Only manual change was back to the flashed keyboard. UI experience is visually better but for me, its slower. SetCPU over locked to 806 makes a decent improvement. Looking forward to a gallery fix and some stability with USB mount. Term service and file manager make life much easier. Great effort, I will keep this as my daily and keep plugging at it. Thank you for laying a solid foundation!!!

I downloaded the reverted GPS zip from this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19106745&postcount=3688), unzipped and copied the /system/lib/hw/gps-liberty.so respectively next to /system/lib/hw/gps.goldfish.so on the phone.
Reboot = GPS locked immediately and seems to be working well for google maps and navigation, however the status bar does not reflect it connected and working.
For those thinking of taking the short route, dont flash the zip like you would on cm7 - it will boot lock your installation

[ROM][11 SEP 12][Fallout Evolution V5.0.0|Sense 4.0A| ICS 4.03] [Kernel 3.0.42 V1]

Fallout Evolution V5.0.0 ROM
Ok,
It's about time I join the fray. This is a HTC One V port, based on RUU 2.08.401.2 - release keys, with parts from the latest ICS leak for the DS. Most importantly, the 3.0.16 stock HTC kernel. It's not the source code, so no major adventures on the kernel side, but it will have to do for now.
Fallout includes its set of tweaks and Fallout Tweaks manager. Improvements are constantly being done, check the detailed description for what is currently included.
As of V4.0.0, Fallout evolved towards Sense 4. Not by importing framework from other roms/devices, but by modding the original Primo Framework and turning on hidden features.

Installation Instructions:
- Full wipe mandatory if coming from anything other than Fallout. IF you are upgrading Fallout, no wipe required other than the usual Dalvik cache for luck.
Again, If you are not upgrading from previous Fallout, full wipe is mandatory.
- You do not need any special Radio or hboot upgrade! I'm sticking with the old radio and the 0.98... Revolutionary hboot as always.
- Flash V5.0.0 Full Rom
- Read the FAQ on post #3 before posting issues!
- Enjoy
V5.0.0 Changelog
- New kernel. Huge credits to amidabuddha, I shamelessly downloaded is repo instead of patching to .42 myself. Included:
..... configurable sweep2wake
..... updated bcm drivers (WiFi hotspot working now)
..... performance, conservative, powersave, ondemand, interactive, smartass V2, lagfree, savagedzen and Reaper cpu frequency governors (default is ondemand, still have to finetune Reaper)
..... Deadline, noop, SIO, BFQ and VR IO schedulers (default is deadline)
..... Over-clockable up to ~1.5GHz (be sensible!)
..... Exposed VDD interface: under and over-voltable
- Added virtuous OC daemon controller (configurable to run or not)
- Fallout Tweaks updated to handle new kernel:
..... Turn on/off OC daemon controller
..... Define max and min frequencies and governors for sleep and wake states independently
..... Undervolting controller, always referring to the values shipped in the kernel. Just choose the offset you want to apply
..... Choose IO schedulers
..... "Apply on boot" option. Only mark this after you are sure you have a stable setup. As a safeguard, if not marked, the OC daemon will not be turned on after reboot.
..... Enable/disable sweep2wake, and also enable HTC screenshots when s2w is disabled (will need a reboot for the screenshot to work)
- Fixed the lockscreen resizing issues. Credits to Nikhil007mmus, I did none of the work.

Thanks
To Virtuous Team, proxuser, and everyone else involved on getting ICS and Sense 4A running on the DS. It's a great community, and they are too many to mention by name, but they are all due many many thanks!
Also, although I did the tweaks myself, I did look through J4n87 smali code, so thanks for it!
Although I modded the framework for full Sense 4 behavior myself, the resized Sense 4 lockscreen apks were taken from this thread, so all thanks to the author!

Most Common Questions
Q: My Phone shortcut is missing from the lockscreen. You suck.
A: Drag it from the app drawer to the dock, it's missing there too. It will magically appear on the lockscreen too.
Q: My weather lockscreen stopped responding and I cannot unlock the phone. You suck.
A: That's a bug I'm trying to fix. Meanwhile, pull down the notification bar and click "settings", that will unlock the phone. Change lockscreen type or reboot. Any of those will make the lockscreen work again. This happens quite randomly, doesn't happen to me for days, and for some users doesn't happen at all.
Q: My phone does not record on Full HD, only 720p. You suck.
A: It is not supposed to. The Desire S has no such capability. That option only appears on the camera because I tricked it to thing it was a One S, just ignore it. I could make the option go away, and I'll eventually do that, but it takes time I would rather use fixing real issues, or adding stuff. Meanwhile, some common sense on the users would be nice.
Q: I flashed this rom, and now WiFi does not work. I can't even get online to tell you that you suck.
A: If you unlocked your phone with HTCDev, you must flash boot.img from the ROM separately with fastboot. Search around for instructions. You must do this for every rom that has a different kernel than the one you are running prior to flashing.
Q: Dow you really suck?
A. No.
Brilliant Lowveld. Waited for u to release this.

install says full wipe, but I suppose that you can try, just no complaining of any issues if you do.(I suspect I might give that a go at first...as in a hurry).
Swyped from my DesireS

Darn, I'm still at office. Must wait until afternoon and get home. Then, Download. T.T

Camera taking pictures no problem. doesnt force clode either. front camera dont work dah. so for so good. by far my favourite sense 4.0a now only thing to test. games and bluetooth (properly)

Camera works fine, Video sorta. if put at highest resolution it crashed after recording, but saves video still, however will need to stop camera process to open camera again. also if on widescreen the video can make the camera app unresponsive once finished recording
Lowveld...... Nice job on the rom......
Mayb a stupid question but
I heared 3rd party apps like skype n all get the front camera working....... Soo is it really a kernal side problem

tried a mirror app first, front camera work and it took a picture succesfully, Skype worked as well
Downloading right now. I used proxusers rom the other day and can confirm that the front camera is working with Skype and 3rd party apps. Maybe there are still driver problems inside the stock HTC cam for the One V itself. Nevertheless Sense 4A feels really smooth and fast.
Sadly I miss some things I used in Endy and now in sense 3.6 like changing the number of homescreens (I only use 3), the transparent dock and some more. I know is stock behavior so nothing to care about but I hope to see some custom settings in future roms.
So far - thanks a lot for the Rom. And for the good things to come in the future.

thanx 4 nice work, could u please add 3D rosie for sense 4.0A?
Thanks for the reports about the camera guys. I assumed that it just wasn't working due to the primo framework not containing the correct hooks. I'll try to checkout the camera app for issues tomorrow.
Cheers
