I got new new HTC CHACHA TODAY,I had Download htc sync & Rom Utility Manager from HTCDEV...I Had Installed both on my Windows 7 Computer..Everything is fine but When Ever I trying to update ROM Through RUU.EXE,Its Showing Error that u Have to update ur ROM from Setting>about Phone>update software...update software showing ur software is up to date
My software version is android 2.3.3
software number-1.20.720.1
build no.1.20.720.1 CL77217
Please help so i can unlock boot loader....

Hi ppl, this is my problem i updated my prophet with the g3 update rom, it worked ok, the problem was that after it made the update and the device rebooted it became with the 3 colours on screen, my microsoft active sync could not syncronize with it and right know i cannot work in any way with it please help me... I made the update with the g3 rom of mobiz, i didin´t get to the second step.
Now i Know how
1. Install original Rom
2. Do an update to the rom to wm6
3. Do an hardspl g3 or g4
4. Install a new Rom with RUU update utility.
just where to find original rom ?? ? i have the same problem

My mobile is LGP350.I am Android developer.I delete Settings.apk,Settings.odex,SettingsProvide.apk.SettingsProvider.Odex.After giving reboot command my phone is not booting(looping at Android log).So i want to reload my firmware.I have LG phone software update tool.I tried reload firmware using it.But it is telling that "You already have updated O.D ,No need to Upgrade".So please tell me how can i reload new O.S to my phone.

Guys i am looking for rooting my HTC chacha from long time but i wont succeed. I have gone through several threads but couldnnt find any solution of my issues. Chacha shows "S-ON" on HBOOT. I downloaded Asian RUU version.
Connected to my PC. It recognise mobile, after clicking "2 Next", It show software version and ask to update it to 1.52 somthing from software update on chcha. When i tried to update software from there, it shows no update available. Is there any way to do rooting and recovry installation. Please can somebody guide me step by step.
I know there is detailed gude available but its not working for me.
