Based on one of the comments, and the fact that it's new on the market, as well as the comments mostly being uninformative, I don't know if I trust this app yet...
Edit: I also don't like that it has permission to access GPS and network-based location.

yes those permissions are there , it was meant for ad targeting .
Also there is a negative comment , but there is explanation for that comment in the app description itself . you can verify it yourself by using some other browser and doing the same .
Our server(s) acts only as re-routers and we never see the content of page that you are browsing .
update :
New update released .
-- removed leadbolt ads
-- removed unused permissions
-- added one additional proxy server & IP address
Removed GPS & other network based permissions

Are there logs kept of the redirections?
What about the security used, is there any encryption used?
What server software is used on your servers? Squid? Privoxy? Other?
couldn't you just install orbot or use proxies in your current browser instead?
What advantage does this have over tor?
Thanks

Not compatible with your device error from google play. Using official miui gb rom. Rooted hd2

Hey Guys,
Couldn't found this posted around the TF forum. I've found an interesting and usefull ap out there on the Market. It's called Tablet Market and it collects all the apps available for tablets and links them to the Andoroid Market for installing.
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.andromo.dev86.app119
The app doesn't seem to have alot of tablet apps though. Unless I am doing something wrong or the app has never been updated there seems to only be 100 apps on it. No categories to help search is also a drawback.
I will continue to use www.tablified.com
Although the website does have some server issues I just added tablified.com as a newsfeed to Pulse (RSS app) and everyday when I go to check my news on pulse I get the newly added apps in one of my feeds.

There's a difference between compatible apps and tablified (tablet specific) apps. Most people want the latter.
Sent from my Transformer
I am one who prefers the latter. I hate it when I have my dock connected and I get an app that is only in profile, or one that has to start in profile.
+1 for Tablified. Anxious to see how big this could potentially get.

Ayman you should make a tablified app. Your website is great and it only makes sense to have a complimentary app on the market.

hey all,
there is a new app on the market called WorldWide Flix which allows you to see Netflix video all over the world.
it gets a list of quality proxy server from the US and sets it to your device.
if the server is not fast enough you can simply go to the next one.
the application has a rating mechanism that lets you rate the server so that the bad servers go to the bottom of the results list.
it fits every android device with OS version of 2.1 and above.
Enjoy!

So it's really limited out there on the android market and net to find a good adblocker app for android, well after using Adblock plus this didn't block all ads and caused my internet to go slow due to the app consuming data in the background. For years now I'm using Adfree , a small sized apk under 2mb, which customises ur host, doesn't consume internet, all u need is root. My nexus 5, nexus 7 and nexus 9 are all adfree, fast and safe from all those nasty popups and random tabs.
Here's the link, if u can donate to these guys, it will be appreciated. They've been running for years and update their hosts every week.

Another way of doing it is to transfer the hosts file from your adfree android to your pc in system/etc and run a dns server on the pc. Point your other computers and devices dns to
your dns server pc ip address and all ads are blocked.
Works for entire networks.

Yes, the UI is of Telegram. We are working on new UI currently. But this is modified to handle clients with more security and all messages are transmitted through secure proxies. Telegram uses 128 Bit encryption but we use 2048 Bit encryption. Thanks!

Are you the dev of this app? I think perhaps the thread should be in android general apps ? Xda doesnt allowed advertising but as long as the app is free and you only have the one thread on it I don't see an issue but would prefer a link to the playstore link rather than the website

How do we uninstall the app from the phone? Not seeing it in the installed apps and don't want to use it at all.
Fake reviews, low quality showcase pictures, UI of Telegram, 60 million users - play store shows 150. No thanks, I skip.
The app should appear in application manager

If the app is not for you (You can think again) it has new 4096
Bit encryption mode whereas whatsapp still uses 256 Bit.
It shall appear in installed app. If it doesn't appear check in hidden apps or application manager.

Fake reviews?? Well maybe you can't tolerate.
Our app was initially released at Opera Store so maybe we have low Play Store downloads (Not what you say its way more than that)
Yes UI of telegram that's the only disadvantage. I know and we are working on it currently.
We have high security which even what's app does not have.
If you still prefer to skip it's upto you.
Cheetah Mobile is accused of committing Ad Fraud in several apps
With over 2.6 million applications to account for in the Play Store, Google is constantly at war with fraudulent and malicious apps plaguing their ecosystem. At the same time, Google tries to promote high-quality apps for users to enjoy, although sometimes the apps they select are of dubious quality. Cheetah Mobile is perhaps one of the most infamous development companies among our users because of their practice of collecting data on users and serving tons of sketchy advertisements. Their acquisition of QuickPic led many XDA members to scramble for an alternative to the once highly-recommended gallery app. But despite the poor quality of Cheetah Mobile’s products, we never had any reason to suspect them of anything truly malicious – until now. The latest research from Kochava has provided evidence that several Android apps from Cheetah Mobile, and one from Kika, are engaging in ad fraud.
Some background
Cheetah Mobile, while best known for developing applications on Android, is a company that actually focuses on selling data. They don’t hide this fact at all, though it’s something that many users are oblivious to. However, it’s hard for users to tell exactly how Cheetah Mobile is using the data they collect. Clean Master, an application by CM with more than 1 billion downloads, has access to permissions like Play Install Referrer API, network connection details, activity recognition, retrieving running apps, and many more which are not at all required for cleaning the cache on a device. As it turns out, all of the above permissions are actually being used as part of an ad fraud scheme.
Kika Keyboard is a popular third-party keyboard app on the Play Store with over 200 million downloads, according to AppBrain. Kika Keyboard is not owned by Cheetah Mobile, but the app has also been found to engage in similar ad fraud schemes.
Ad fraud
To recoup the costs of development, some developers generate revenue by placing advertisements in their applications. Developers can sometimes get a bonus for referring users to install other applications displayed in the ads. The bonus can vary from $0.50 to $3.00, typically. The system works like this: You display an advertisement showing another application, the user downloads the sponsored application and runs it, then the application which sponsored the ad will award a bonus to the referring app developer. Kochava has demonstrated that Cheetah Mobile has been tricking applications into thinking that they should be the recipient of bonuses for referrals when in reality CM’s apps played no role in referring the user to download an application. This nets CM money both from Google and the developers who monetized their app via advertisements. Here is how the ad referral process typically (left picture) versus a hijacked ad referral process (right picture). Images courtesy of BuzzFeed News.

I wasn't claiming it is. I was simply saying it's an alternative that's safer ?
A few years ago, for whatever reason I had installed a Cheetah app on my old rooted S3 off the Play Store...can't remember which app though.
I uninstalled it days later. The next day i got bored and started exploring folders with Ghost Commander.
I came across several suspicious/unknown files. After doing a bit of digging, they were all related to Cheetah.
I can't remember the details, but I remember being surprised an uninstalled app would leave behind actual files dependent on each other.
I can understand maybe an empty folder but not that.
Thats why its called cheetah mobile
So can we trust QuickPic now for regular use?

For quickpic I'd suggest using the app I mentioned a few posts back
It's depends on where you live, If you set on india you will get kika keyboard, I tested it myself.
Clean master is literally deep built-in in miui security app as you can see here. http://imgur.com/a/kTiFDOM
I remember reading kika somewhere on my Indian poco somewhere when I bought the phone. Dunno if it's still on the phone today.
EU ROM here,
only GBoard like someone said befor.
But this Cleaner App is still from Cheetah, can it be removed without root and breaking other things ?
What can i use instead?
