You have to key in your APN manually... go to your Operator's website or ask customer service.
Then key in the details into:
Settings>System tab>Mobile Network Selection>Access Point Names>New APN

APN = Access Point Name = GPRS/3G settings in your phone from your network provider.
Contact your provider for the same.

Hi everyone,
My company has bought his own APN. Now we are trying to send the APN settings to many Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 that the company owns.
I know that some operators (like Vodafone) can send an SMS to an smartphone and that the smartphone understands it and automatically gets the settings and configures the APN.
Could someone tell me if it's posible to send (via email or sms) my own APN settings?

I have a ZTE V975 , I just bought it and it seems that I cannot acces the internet from the SIM .
In ABOUT it says 2 strange things: Mobile network status disconected service: in service
I have a valid SIM with internet and I am not on wifi.The signal is full and it shows 3g.
Please help me,

Check your APN settings are correct for your mobile network. Settings > Wireless & Networks > More... > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names

Google for what they should be for your carrier and input them. Or find a friend on the same network and copy their settings. Or telephone your network provider and ask them.

Am having problems with my sprint s6 edge after I updated it to marshmallow. The data has not shown up so I cant really use my data if am far from wifi and my network operator doesnt show up. Can anyone help me with files to get it working as I love my s6 edge.
Is it possible that if I root the Sprint s6 edge and install a custom roms, the data will be back working? If that will work, can I get the files to root it and the possible available roms I can run on it. Plz help. Tnx
You need to setup APN. Go to Setting -> Mobile networks - >Access Point Names then click Add
In here you can config your APN infomation, the APN information you can ask your telecom network service.
Example my APN (i'm using Viettel in Vietnam):
Name: Viettel
APN: v-internet
no user name and no password.
Remember, that is my APN information from my telecom network service.
It's not work for you, you must ask your telecom network service for that information.

APN will not show automatically. You need to add new APN by yourself. Follow my guide to do that.
i just got my beautiful poco x3 today and im having an issue with my sim card i cant add my apn i have walmart plane its verizon when i click add one from the list i get apn settings dont match current network type

If you have weird carriers, then you need to go to the carrier's official homepage, log into your account look up the internet/MMS settings to make the carrier work on phones. It should be in some kind of FAQ section, or whatever. If the carrier is stupid enough to not provide this information on their homepage, then you have to call their customer support service and ask the APN details.
You have to get the precise APN details.
Then you put in these APN details here:
Settings -> Network & Internet -> Mobile Network -> Access Point Names

Note that, this is the path on my Android 11 based OS. If you use e.g. Android 10, the path might be slightly different.
i have issue where i cant save my apn settings if i change the MNC , where i need it to be 30 to connect to my provider , im guessing its asus buggy rog 1 phone , is there a way to make a apn and import in andriod 9 ?
uk bt one phone is my provider and i just dont know andriond , looking for a config file will be a waste i guess

yea this is what i tryed first they just guide me to adding a apn witch dont work , 2 days 2 staff and they keep repeating same stuff so i wana try another way i added a apn but looking for it now so i can manual edit the xml file , been poking in the databases looking on how to add a custom carrier so it auto adds it on connection
