I hardly ever change modems in the Ports. It wouldn't matter what one I would put in , everybody like to try different ones anyway.

The major work has been done by Lordclockan, dh.harald, Twistedumbrella and Shaky153. Although this build is still in Beta stage but in my opinion it’s good enough to use as a daily driver, as it’s pretty fast. My builds include tinny audio fix for inspire 4G as well !​

I finally got my sources posted.., they were originally based on dh-haralds repo but include alot of other fixes that are not in his..if any devs are interested heres the link: https://gitorious.org/talonics (click the 'more' link in the description for info on syncing) ... these sources are pretty much up to date with latest release in DHD thread (as of today, 12-3-2011).. I will be posting a release once things get a little more stable, but as of right now though i will only be working on sources

No frills is working over here. I'm actually underclocked but the ability is there

Works quite well... i actually replaced my beloved Miui with this beta.. im afraid to restart the device tho.. sometimes it loops the boot animation.
And the home, menu, etc buttons dont light up but good work nonetheless.
Didnt think id like ICS, but it has some subtle changes i like... the stock browser is officially winning.

im so excited to see how this goes. I will try it out soon. Sorry Absolution, gonna have to switch to this ROM to try it out.

The description states rom but it's actually a Software port of 4.0.1 Also I have been testing each release since alpha 1 and can say this has been a hell week for my Inspire and it's been sweet!

Here is a build I put together. It is based off of Lord's build with a few build.prop edits and a kernel edit made by yours truly aimed at mem management. It also includes ALL Gapps and the CM7 Torch apk. Please feel free to give it a whirl. More to come in the following week.

Download ROM from the link below, and save it to your sd-card ie: /downloads/
Go to your recovery and FIRST make a nandroid backup in case something gets messed up..
First Time Flashing? Make a -> FULL userdata/factory reset.
Wipe Wipe & Wipe -> cache, dalvik-cache
Browse and Flash the downloaded ROM file in this case in sd-card/downloads/

» FAQ
Q: Why aren't new apps being moved to SDCARD?
A: Make sure you have your SDCARD partitioned, also upgrade your SDCARD extension to ext3 or ext4.
Q: Why is my camera not working as it's supposed to?
A: You have probably flashed another Kernel other than the Stock, make sure the Kernel is fully compatible with this OTA version..
Q: My Battery is draining like crazy, why?
A: There could be many reasons, but make sure you calibrate you battery after installing the ROM, Battery Calibration app is a good way to go. Also disable Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth when not in use. Learn more here.
Q: I have made a request and did not see the it done, what happened?
A: Unfortunately I only have my free time to develop the ROM, please be patient and you will see it eventually.
Q: How can I help you develop the ROM?

Q: Why my Rosie Right Side Button doesn't work?

Messaging speed has more to do with your carrier and how many bars you have. The ROM does it job to "ping" your carrier to get the message.
Edit: Nitrous ROM handles pretty good when it comes to rendering text and images.

I actually tried ICS but it's just not very stable for evo yet. So I'll stick with sense with 2.3.5.

Sometimes a reboot is needed.
If you would like to edit Lockscreen shortcuts:

and edit up to 8 targets.

I don't believe I have had success with Netflix at all on any JB ROM. I fear Netflix is just needing an update based on Google Play reviews we aren't the only community with these issues. Sit tight I suppose.

Speaking of audio hacks, last time I flashed xLoud using "Pimp My ROM", PowerAmp AND Volume+ stopped working (simply went back to launcher screen right after starting).
Do you know those are working in this ROM (especially PowerAmp)?
(Yes, I'm going to try, nandroid is running as I write)
