Is there a way to install a ROM on Lg Optimus Me P350 without booting into custom recovery. Because I have been trying a lot to boot into recovery by doing all the tutorials have told me but I am still not able to boot into recovery. Is there anyway else.
P/S I have tried using ROM manager, my phone rebooted with a factory reset.
THIS POST IS FOR LG OPTIMUS ME P350 ONLY
Do a search for AmonRa or ClockWork Mod zips for LG P350, download a zip of it, unpack the .img file, then transfer to phone, root, then download Terminal Emulator off the market, open it, then type this
su
cd /sdcard
flash_recovery recovery.img
Make sure to place on the root of sdcard, and rename the zip to recovery.img
Then try the ClockworkMod/AmonRA recovery key-combintion.

Don't quite understand
After unzipping the .zip file I have 3 files: flash_image.exe
md5sum
and the image which i renamed as recovery.img
as you said. Which one of these do I have to transfer? Is it the recovery.img only?

i just got the lg thrive from att. i rooted it with gingerbreak apk. when i downloaded rom manager and pressed flash clockwork mod recovery it did not have the lg thrive listed so i choose the optimus v recovery because of similarities. (BIG MISTAKE!) I then proceeded to choose to reboot into recovery. it is now bricked (symptoms: it wont boot up or go into a full recovery mode, all i see is the lg symbol and its stuck). i am trying to set up adb but do not know how to fix it through adb. can someone please help me?!

I was trying to install cyanogenmod on my Xperia U. but i had not copied the custom rom files on my mobile. now its stuck in clockworkmod recovery mode. It just keep rebooting itself and opening clockworkmod. Can't copy the zip files to install the new rom as it's not being detected when connected via usb cable. Please somebody help me. Please.....:crying:

If you have flashtool and stock firmware file just flash it copy the zip and try again.

Installed custom rom using sideload

LG C660R Optimus Pro
Gingerbread 2.3.4
Kernel 2.6.35.10
rooted via nandroot app: Poot
root was fine
installed chainfire SU & Busybox
downloaded ROM manager w/ correct CWM version type as reccommended ( LG Optimus Pro )
accidentally hit Boot to recovery via rom manager
now device is stuck at LG logo
no recovery
no hard reset
only emergency mode
HOWEVER
i dont have a PC so id like to try to fix it via sd card without a PC
also, before root i made a build.prop backup via ROM toolbox and it is saved in my external sd card. maybe if i could run that or find a way to flash stock recovery it might help push the process along?

I know what I need to restore it but I do not find the right file by searching on internet
What I need it's a stock rom lg with a .kdz or a .tot and .dll for Lg D331
Or maybe a backup file (Could it work?)

Can't you get a KDZ from lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=54 and flash it via LG Flash Tool 2014?
HI devs
I am new here. I am facing a problem maybe I am the only one facing it. I was trying to install a custom rom on my LG F180L . I was using freegee, flashify method to install custom recovery that I successfully installed (Philz recovery or something like that) well it didn't work so never installed the ROM so I changed my recovery to sk8s CWMRTouch 14.4.7 and now I can't mount my sd card, external sdcard neither I can mount usb storage(phone attached to PC while in recovery mode) I cac't copy any ROM files to try Flash them. I tried to go back to stock ROM but after successfully downloading file (>1gb) and using LG R&D tool it didn't work either. When the R&D tool decrypts the kdz file I have a file extract error and all tests fail it says. I can't do anything. I know my device is soft bricked but I want to get it back. I've read several posts on xdas on same issue nothing helped me. Please help me I'll be highly grateful to you guys. Thanks for reading this long thing.
