Database Info

[DEV] HTC Mini DSP (Dolby Mobile, SRS, Bass Boost etc.) For ANY Device

I've been busy tinkering away with HTC's mini DSP that controls the sound mode on HTC models. I have a desire HD and so it has Dolby mobile and SRS built in. I have been porting this for use with any device.
Everything is working, right up to applying the option:

(This is on my Archos 80 G9 tablet)
The only reason I can think of is possibly that when I attempt to pull or copy the files "htc-acoustic" and "codec_aic3254" from the /dev folder on my desire HD, it throws excuses and fails. I only ever get files that are 0 bytes. I put them in anyway btw.
I would like some devs to help me get this working, as when you apply these, your sound quality improves dramatically.

[Mod]MotoPulse/Beats Audio boot animations, 4 different one's!

Here's the Beats Audio boot animation I've been wanting for a while now. I had requested it but didn't get any bites and the other one's I've seen out there didn't work on this phone so I decided to keep playing around with it until I could get it to work so here it is.

-Download file to sdcard
-Using a file explorer (Root Explorer) move the file to /system/media
-Rename existing bootanimation.zip to 1bootanimation.zip
-Rename the new zip to bootanimation.zip
-Exit file explorer, reboot phone and enjoy!
**Update**
Posted a variation of the same animation, this one has the pulsating Motorola logo simlar to what's on the Atrix 4g which has a red glow effect to it which I think looks better with the Beats animation. Video coming soon.

Not sure what that means.....but give it a shot, worse thing that happens is your boot screen is black during boot, in which case replace the old boot animation zip and ur all good.

Dear friends,
I bought a Chinese Android phone for my wife and would like to know which forum's section is applicable to it.
The Android phone is an A101 model, MI6573 650Mhz + MT6620 processor, dual sim, 3.5' HVGA 480*320 screen.

I don't think there are many chinese phone forums but I did see one or two ROMs for a chinese phone though it was different than yours, something called a81 or something

S3 movie feature... (Moboplayer)

Guys, found a movie player that imitates the S3 functionality. I'll provide the screenshoots. Hope youll like it and sorry if you already know of this.
It stays on even when doing something else like txting or web browsing.

Best Eq settings for canvas a110 for the best audio experience :D

used to think that only a dedicated audio chip is required for best audio experience but tried some eq settings and bam got a perfect settings which makes our device sound just like any other high end device...actually i have compared this with sony walkman and nokia lumia 520..
first you need to do is remove any of the sound mods you may have in your rom,even the stock eq settings apk that comes in rom,
then install playerpro,
turn on the eq and enter the settings then set the sliders according to this pic

THIS second settings can be used for songs with low audio..
this can be used for bass
i dono the settings for other player you yourself have to mess with them and find out..

STOCK CYNUS T2 ROM...FIRST YOU got to remove the equalizer apk from system else the audio output will be way too low..

Many thanks! It worked for me.. Did bit of more tweaking so that it suits me... Bottom line it worked
Used Sony XBS series head phone and also one pair of basic Panasonic head phones.... Out put on Panasonic is significantly improved
