HTC Evo 4G
Current Version: 2.2.24h
Original post: MIUIAndroid
Ported by: iBotPeaches
Information
This is a stock ROM. This is the same exact quality you'd expect from a MIUIAndroid Rom. There is nothing modified in this. Its as pure as it gets. You are free to modify the build using separate kernels and what not.
This is my first public port. I've always messed around with my own ports, but never released any of them. There is bound to be some issues that I didn't encounter. I don't own this device. So all my testing is thanks to dills2214, so say thanks to him for flashing about 20 ROMs before it was stable for the public.

Notes
Don't bash me. I'm working at learning this as fast as I can. I'd appreciate help from those willing to test and generate logcats for any errors that arise. Thanks a ton.

Man another MIUI dev, thisis exciting. Let me know if you need a tester or logcat or anything my friend

Awesome glad to see!

thanks ibot since it looks like swiper retired need someone to take over dl now

Looks like I picked a good time to really give Miui a chance. Thanks for putting your work out there.
Sent from that thing using that other thing......

Thanks for this and dont give up

Thanks all,
I've already received some reports about MUTE and MMS not working. Going to re-iterate again. I don't own this device. So before I release any public builds I send them to two testers I have, just to make sure there is no underlying huge issues.
I plan to release a new build on Sunday. Which will have the new MIUI 2.3.2 version (assuming I can merge it in without issue) and any fixes I've accumulated since then.
Also, why can't I name my topic
[ROM] MIUI 2.2.24 (GB). It auto un-capitalizes it
Thanks for all the support.

You should have a What's not working section, just a thought

If you need any testers or anything, email me ~ [email protected]

looks good, i think ill try it after a few hotfixes

Thank you for your hard work, it's great to have another MIUI dev and I believe the 1st Miuiandroid port on XDA since the miui.us split.

[Rom-Dev] (2-17-10) Cyanogen-like 2.0.1 ROM | BT Fix

Hey guys. i'm working on porting features of cyanogenmod onto our phones. most that is working on the regular aosp builds work on here that includes sensors, gps, sms, etc.i am currently basing this off of the aosp 2.0.1 dchadwick made a while back, so this is not 2.1.
I should probably give credit where credit is due. I'd like to thank gbhil for making me the boot.img, phonetec for porting live wallpapers onto our phones and providing me with the nexus launcher, toast and gang that are currently working on sense 2.1 for getting most the hardware stuff sorted out, dchadwick for the base of my rom, and quietcblongs who worked very hard on making aosp on our heroes a reality, cyanogen for the additional features, and jnwhiteh for compiling cyanogenmod on the hero.
For those of you that need a log of what currently works and what doesn't, here you go:
What works: phone, data, wifi, gps, sensors, bluetooth (minus audio during calls)
What doesn't work: camera, multi-touch, opengl. (multi-touch and opengl should work once toast/flipz releases the new sense 2.1 update)

I'll be a beta tester!
Look forward to testing out your release
I would've been happy to sign it for you if I was home lol
dude, that'll be sick if you can get it to work on the CDMA hero.
Looks pretty sweet. I'll try.
Interesting
Yeah I could sign it for you... I've got all that stuff set up for when I was messing with 1.6 AOSP.
Looks niice..great job s'far, it seems (heh) Did you get w/ toast n them for the opengl stuff?
ok, for those of you willing to make me an signed zip, sure. just pm me exactly what you need from me and i'll give it to you
Put it all in a folder, compress it to zip, and send it to gbhil or flipzmode. They'll help you out, no doubt. EDIT: Added to roms wiki
I'd be happy to test for you.
one question will bluetooth work?
none of the newer roms 1.6+ dont work with bluetooth and I use that daily.
Beta test
I'd be happy to beta test; PM me a link. Also, a list of what doesn't work. Thanks
Beta it this way as well
I doubt you need more people to beta test for you but I'll help if I can.
Im def willing to beta test
Can you use one more tester?? I'm itching to flash!
Likewise, I'd also love to test if you that's possible. Thanks for the great work you're doing!
I'd love to test aswell!!! Thanks for the hard work.

[ROM][AOSP] YaOSP 0.7 Beta

YaOSP 0.7
(Yet another open source project)
Ive been working on this for a little while and I feel it is stable enough to release to the public. It is an AOSP rom based off of Nexus one build FRF91 (most recent) It does have some things from the cyanogen source. Sadly just like the other AoSP roms out for the EVO it has its issues.
What it is:
Nexus one FRF91 AOSP port
Very quick
LauncherPro (I dont like Launcher2)
at the moment running Kingklicks aosp kernel
What doesnt work:
4G
MMS MIGHT not work
Front Cam
Back cam only 3 mp
hdmi
Brightness auto adjust sometimes acts goofy.
The camera and MMS I will get fixed and running very shortly. As for the 4G and HDMI Im not sure when that will be fixed. I consider this build a beta build and by flashing this you know it will have some issues. Also I am not responsible AT ALL for you damage your phone. You know the risk. I have been using this rom for the past 2 days and it has been very stable and quick. I don't usually use 4G anyways OR use the camera so I don't miss those features =P
In the next week or so this will be a very quick reliable AOSP rom. So if your tired of all the sense roms this one might just be the change your looking for.
I would love feed back so I can make this rom as stable and functional as possible.

Glad to see another AOSP ROM! I'm sure i'll be giving it a try within the next few days.
I hope you enjoy it. I don't post all of my roms on here because I don't want to take up a bunch of space but I figured another AOSP rom wouldn't hurt the board
Looks like it's going to be a speed demon, awesome!
Sweet, will have to give this a go when I get home. More AOSP ROM's = Win
Hey... I think this thing makes phone call too!
Hey OP mind helping me out, uhh just... link says it all ..

[Port]KaosGingerbread 3/30 [WIP]

So i was toying around with one of the kitchens on my linux box and was able to port kaos gingerbread to the heroc, it is pretty close to pure aosp i decided to post it up because i can
you can check out punk.kaos' original work/thread here
as i am not a dev i have no idea what the next steps would be to fixing some of the remaining issues but so far it seems to work (my hero is not connected to a network so their are things i cant inherently test)
what doesnt work
-bluetooth audio (connects but no audio pass through)
-LED notifications
-USB mass storage (still works in kernel so its def something user space i just dont know what files control it)
-camera just white screens ( a job for somebody way more skilled than I)
-gallery3d freaks out when changing orientation
unless stuff is a simple fix (like moving files from 1 rom to another) (i still have an aospGBmod version on my comp) it likely wont get fixed unless a dev wants to help out
other than those issues it seems to run fine

Thank You!
Finally a non CM Ver of Gingerbread!!!
im happy about it too, but sadly their is some stuff that needs to be fixed that is above my scope of work
Good luck on this! Jasonmaloney is also trying to accomplish this. Great to see devs still interested in our little heros.

So basically, this is what we have to look forward too from AospCMod? From what I read in 5 minutes, Kaos basically did the same as Aosp does and based it from Cyanogenmod 7. Hes just brought it alot closer to Vanilla than Aosp so far.

myHome Launcher - Needs testing

hello everyone,
I have been developing a new launcher. It is called myHome. It is on the market already, but i did a complete major update... So it is almost like a whole new app basically.
Anyways, i am looking for some people to test it before i update the app. That way i can get all of the bugs out, if any.

Looks pretty interesting. I've been using Zeam for my Galaxy Tab, but this launcher seems worth trying. Gonna try it soon.

We are still handing beta's to testers!

Sorry that is the link... im on my phone atm!

It looks nice. I've always considered MIUI to be the marriage of Android's usability with Apple's design...but then I saw Ice Cream Sandwich. Even these screenshots don't dissuade me, as nice as they are.
I have to say, though, that the MIUI team is really good at design.
I've ran miui on my phone before cm9 came and out I'm looking forward to the miui ics release. I love how much you can customize miui.
I love my Nexus S more and more everyday!
How will MIUI implement the multitasking UI? I'm guessing they will put their own spin on it but I am wondering if they have released any materials regarding this.

I heart MIUI that was my go to rom for my D1. Now that the dev are getting close to getting it to the X2 I'm really looking forward to some more MIUI fix.
