[ROM][AOSP] YaOSP 0.7 Beta

YaOSP 0.7
(Yet another open source project)
Ive been working on this for a little while and I feel it is stable enough to release to the public. It is an AOSP rom based off of Nexus one build FRF91 (most recent) It does have some things from the cyanogen source. Sadly just like the other AoSP roms out for the EVO it has its issues.
What it is:
Nexus one FRF91 AOSP port
Very quick
LauncherPro (I dont like Launcher2)
at the moment running Kingklicks aosp kernel
What doesnt work:
4G
MMS MIGHT not work
Front Cam
Back cam only 3 mp
hdmi
Brightness auto adjust sometimes acts goofy.
The camera and MMS I will get fixed and running very shortly. As for the 4G and HDMI Im not sure when that will be fixed. I consider this build a beta build and by flashing this you know it will have some issues. Also I am not responsible AT ALL for you damage your phone. You know the risk. I have been using this rom for the past 2 days and it has been very stable and quick. I don't usually use 4G anyways OR use the camera so I don't miss those features =P
In the next week or so this will be a very quick reliable AOSP rom. So if your tired of all the sense roms this one might just be the change your looking for.
I would love feed back so I can make this rom as stable and functional as possible.

Glad to see another AOSP ROM! I'm sure i'll be giving it a try within the next few days.

I hope you enjoy it. I don't post all of my roms on here because I don't want to take up a bunch of space but I figured another AOSP rom wouldn't hurt the board

There was some OpenGL issue that I had to solve. The delay was because of that. Personal work was piling up. Extremely sorry for the delay.. There is also a light theme now.
I'll post the light theme in sometime..

Most excellent news, I love the CyanogenMod on my Nexus One. While ADW Launcher EX & Root make me forget about Sense, I'd still switch my Sensation to CM in a minute.

they aren't ready to release a nightly for the public so they are testing them among themselves

i don't think they are going to release next week. S-Off just release today. and they are going to test it first before they release it in the community. let's just hope they can release it next month...

OK guys right now im only sharing these three wallpapers nothing crazy or special just higher contrast and color or changed colors on them I'm working on my own from soruce rom and just wanted to share a little bit i will add to this probably later if you guys have ideas or requests i can certainly look into them.

These also work as nice computer wallpapers

Cant wait for the rom (that is if you plan on releasing it) the wallpapers look like the stock ones with some different colors but still nice :laugh:

they are the stock ones yes i just played with them to make them pop a little better but yeah im a simplistic person so i am not going wild on this rom but it will be a bit different. I dont like crazy i actually enjoy cm10 and vanilla android so its not going to stray way too far.

That's cool I used to be a strong touchwiz supporter but after using cm9 and cm10 converted. I'm assuming you are gonna post the rom on rootz right?

Hey all,
I just got ahold of a Rogers SGSII for the sole purpose of flashing and experimenting with.
I'm just curious, what are some of the more unique ROMs out there? I know we frown on "what's the best ROM" thread, but that's not what I'm asking. I know about some of the high performance ROMS, tha'ts not what I'm after. I'm looking for something that's truly different from Touchwiz or Stock Android. Doesn't have to have great battery life, or run completely flawless, but something cool and different. It's currently running CM10.1, looking to change it up a bit.
Any suggestions would be great.

This thread is uniquely veiled as worthless. With that said try flashing all the ROMS here. Then mix different parts of them together in your own build. That would be unique. And most likely not worthless. Good luck

Avatar or paranoid android to start then pacman as it has lots of features from each branch. The first two will get you a different look and feel then try pacman.
Launchers play a large roll in how you interface with the rom . if you like a ROM maybe try a different launcher we all have our favorites.

Most interesting rom is MIUI, Rogers Jellybean is right behind it and then Embryo.
