@frkccn
So what did you do to your phone, it just doesn't wake up one day and say security warning.
The problem is your CID of "HTC__M27". Fear not though, its an easy fix... That's if you can make a goldcard.
You need to look into making a goldcard on the PC, Check here and here.
Once you have the the goldcard you can install 2.10.401.8 RUU.

I had this problem and ended up having to get the phone Jtagged. Or you can try S off your device with a XTC clip and try flashing boot and recovery through adb, then flash a custom rom
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA App

Easy does it first damned....... Let's look at other options first.
Adb won't work cause if is booting into bootloader.

Gold card, I did. But still did not

Come on, seriously? You have the problem, you said its urgent, so give some info on what you did to get the security warning and the method of creating the goldcard. And try a different card.

Its too late for a Gold card I think. Have you flashed an official RUU over s-off bootloader, custom recovery and rom?

Hi, did you try to flash a wrong RUU onto the phone? When you do that for some reason HTC doesn't like it and *locks* the bootloader into *security warning* mode... basically you can't flash anything that isn't officially signed by HTC anymore.
The way to solve it, is to find out the original version of your phone, and flash the RUU of that one. Then re-S-OFF / re-root it as you see fit.
From your fastboot getvar, it seems like you may need:
2.10.401.5 version ROM with HTC M27 regional settings?
Go to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1002506
Download the right RUU for your ROM
HTC_Saga etc etc._2.10.401.5_blah blah blah...
And run it / flash it should solve it! I had that problem a few days ago... THought I could 'upgrade' my stock firmware by flashing a higher RUU... and this happened.

@anchemis
He has already solved his problem. Also you will NOT find a a EU RUU with a cid like that. Thus he HAS to use a goldcard.

Fastboot flash system.img - Possible with unrooted S-ON Stock Sensation?

*********
Hi,
down there you find the original thread/question but i think the only possibility to keep the data on a Sensation with not working touchscreen may be to flash a system.img from a RUU and hope it boots.
Is it possible to flash system.img via fastboot with a locked S-ON Sensation?
Thanks
Regards
Daniel

Hello,
my GF owns a unrooted S-ON completely stock Sensation and did the official german t-mobile update (sorry we did not write the number down).
After the update the phone boots but the touchscreen does not work. You can't enter the pin code and also the volume buttons does not work. Only the power button works "a little bit". You can turn on / off screen but you can't open the shutdown menu.
I can enter Bootloader but as it's locked i don't know what i can do there.
Is it possible to mount the file system to backup some data?
Or is there any other way to apply a official htc firmware WITHOUT DELETING ALL USER DATA?
Thank you very much
PS I should have rooted / s-offed it before, damn it... ;-)
Wrong thread, this should go in Q&A section
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
Okay sorry - could someone move it please?
Anyone?
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Okay another idea.
Is it possible to extract a german T-Mobile RUU and just flash the system.img via fastboot? Do i have a chance to make it work again this way?
Or is it not possible to flash system.img when the phone is stock?
hey... i got the same problem.. tried a few things but still no working sensation :/
What did you try?
I think running a T Mobile RUU should work (but the user data is beeing deleted)
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
no, there is till now no matching tmob ruu :/
So is it only possible to run a RUU with the exactly same version as on the phone?
please help me

Please start a new thread, is the htc logo in black with four "!" signs at the edges of the screen? please give us more information about the phone(s-off?). also there are lots of RUUs in this link, you can just try them or manually pull the files you want from them.

Incorrect ROM
I was wondering if you could provide some guidance. I rooted and unlocked the bootloader on my HTC One X AT&T and tried to install a custom rom. I stupidly installed a rom that was not suitable for the AT&T version. My phone now cycles from the white HTC start screen to off. I can access the HBOOT and FASTBOOT. I tried to install an ruu and the installation wizard could not determine what image I have on it. It then gave a 159 error and said incorrect ruu. I took it from
http://www.htc.com/us/support/htc-one-x-att/news/
and is version 5.18.502.1.
Is it possible that I have deleted my ruu? Can my phone be fixed?

Just try flashing a ROM that's actually for this device using TWRP.
I'm not sure what you mean by deleted your RUU, the RUU is the program on your PC that flashes the stock ROM and firmware to your phone.
I took a ROM that has no requirements in the description, this one
http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-x-att/development/rom-t2964941
But when installing it required bootloader version 2.14 or up. It seems all other ROMs have a firmware requirement but my phones version main is blank.

You'll need to flash the boot.img from the ROM zip via fastboot after flashing the ROM. So once TWRP has flashed the ROM, use the reboot menu in TWRP to reboot directly to the bootloader, then use fastboot to flash the boot.img:
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img

Cool. You still have some work to do though, in order to run that ROM (or any other) you need to update your firmware, which requires s-off.
I noticed that,
I tried to make it S-OFF using the firewater, the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155071 method and with Rumruner to no avail. I am root and have superCID, I will keep searching and try to figure out how to do it.

There was a reason I linked you to the Kickdroid ROM earlier, flash that and then use Rumrunner to get s-off.
Thanks for that. I was actually wrong. The reason why Rumrunner wasn't working was because I was on a network that required a proxy. I ran the latest RUU to get the main-version back and then flashed the Magio ROM. In the few hours I used it I became accustomed to it.

Hi,
So, what version-main do you have?
If you are s-on ,it is much harder to match up the RUU,version-main, and cid.
They all have to match,or else the RUU will not work.
Can you do :
Code:

So right now I'm confused, where exactly is the RUU for my CID? I upgraded this device using OTA, is that why there is no apparent RUU for my CID. How about factory images (the one they used for brand new Sensation), surely HTC have RUU for the base factory images, no?

Hi,
Firstly ,please remove your serial number and imei number.
You have a ICS/JB firmware, so a 1.35 RUU which is meant for GB , will not work.
I am not sure why your version main would disappear.
What happens when you boot up your phone?
Do you still have the update? Can you run it?
Is you phone a Sensation, or the XE version?

Hi yes my device is normal Sensation, honestly I don't know why my version-main would disappear. But at least after digging deeper for a while I finally manage to flash CM 9.1.0 into my device, so at least it's now usable.
====
Woops, thanks, I removed them, sorry I kind of in a panic, didn't realize I just copy-pasted all of it
====
So this is the whole story, and what I know... hope this would help...
EDIT: I have HBOOT 1.27 (UNLOCKED) and S-ON
First, It started out with 4.0.3 (ICS) device that came from OTA (this was previously my wife's and I didn't touch it with custom rom, etc), when I received it. So the first think I do is do HTCDev unlock, it went smoothly, I installed TWRP (my favourite, but it seems I make a mistake here), it installed SuperSU, and I got root.
After that, I want to try custom ROM because I really dislike how slugish Sense is (I tried to like it, disable bunch of apps, but coming from Nexus, it's just doesn't feel right). So with my previous phones, I always have the original factory image(s) for fallback just incase I screw up . So after searching for a while, the only one RUU that I found that most likely work with my device is the 1.35.707 RUU (I didn't realize it was for GB).
Feeling safe after I got it, I went ahead and flash Albinoman's CM 10.2 using TWRP, and it stuck in a bootloop spectacularly . At this point everything is still normal, in terms of version-main, etc. So I think what the hell, let's flash RUU. So I tried it, put the device in fastboot, relocked, fireup RUU, at first it works, detect all the version, then it failed with 155 UNKNOWN ERROR after "updating signature" step, every single time (I tried couple of times). The version-main started missing after the first flash, the 2nd flash there is no
version: x.xxx.xxx to version x.xx.xx

Now I remember in the past, updating my sister in-law's Rhyme, this also happen, but somehow, it succeeded in updating the device anyway. So I didn't think too much of it.
So, after hitting the wall for a while, I looked up why people love 4ext so much for HTC devices, turn out there is this SmartFlash thing and how flashing boot.img is tricky. Well I switch to 4ext 1.0.0.5 and flash CM 9.1.0 (just want to be safe, so I didn't flash Albinoman again). And what do you know, it works .
So that is my story so far. I just want to know is there any ICS RUU to fallback to stock for my Device or do I have to SuperCID to get it from other Device. or Maybe I have to downgrade firmware, install GB RUU and then update through OTA (or maybe I have to search for the OTA also).
in order to downgrade you have to S-OFF and supercid
then you can use the gb RUU which also downgrades firmware and hboot version
after that just do the official update
about OTA it could be a possibility to use it but you must have stock recovery
edit:i just saw your edit.you are already in ics firmware

OK so I am going to answer you before u are strangled. Your problem is hboot 2.14 is not the latest. You need 2.15. To get it you run a 3.18 ruu I think. Easy option is to load beastmode kernel.
And always search before posting. This has been mentions thousands of times in the forums.

The RUU you tried to flash is an older one. You were trying to go backwards. Since you do NOT have superCID you can run this one and get back to stock: http://dl3.htc.com/application/RUU_..._10.130.32.34_release_signed_With_Partial.exe
Edit: This RUU matches you CID
After that runs, you will need to reflash your recovery in bootloader.
Then I would recommend getting S-Off: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2540232
You should do this because Sense Roms run smoother with Hboot 2.15 and you need S-Off to do this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2517148&highlight=ruu
Hopefully this helps.

slemankurdi has to accomplish the RUU first which is not included in the toolkit. I acknowledge that Wizzrah put a lot of work into the toolkit but he will tell you himself that using a toolkit without understanding what you are doing is not a good idea.

Your don't need a toolkit to get s-off. Getting s-off is simple.
I appreciate the work that's gone into the toolkit but they bypass some much needed learning. Without the experience gained by doing things manually users can almost never recover when they have problems in future.

Ok, you're on the right track but not quite right. There's no reason the phone wouldn't boot with his current setup. You don't need any special firmware just to get it to boot. The 2.15 firmware is only required to stop reboots and signal drops once the ROM has booted. Also, the 3.18 RUU doesn't contain the 2.15 firmware, it contains the 2.14 firmware. The 2.15 firmware is a flashable zip found in Turge's stock Sense 5 ROM thread.

I think the reason Viper kept rebooting is probably because you didn't flash the boot.img with fastboot, did you? You need to do this if you're s-on. Right now you should run the 3.18 RUU, then flash a custom recovery again, then flash Viper and remember to flash the boot.img with fastboot.

Every time I help someone personally, we always end up talking about life and other stuff. When you connect with someone, it's an amazing feeling. Not only do I get them a "new" phone, but in return I get a new pen pal lol. I try to make my toolkits as engaging as possible and I teach them what everything does and why. At the end of the session, every person ends up with a rooted, s-off, evita and knows Adb and fastboot commands. I like to consider myself more lenient in the fact that I'll help someone with something rather then redirecting them to another forum. I feel like tech support in a way Thanks for the input.

You are actually S-ON, that means you can only flash a RUU of same version as installed or a newer one + you need an RUU specific to your CID. I'm gonna try finding a fitting RUU.

Hello, I have similar issue with my phone. Everytime phone starts automatically in fastboot mode, recovery is not available. What can I do to fix my HTC One S (S4)? I was trying to fix my phone, using RUU, so i download RUU_Ville_U_JB_45_S_HTC_Europe_3.16.401.8_Radio_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301814_signed_2_4 for my phone with cid HTC__032. Was it good RUU?
When I go to fastboot mode, and type command in cmd, it always gives "device not found" or "signature verify fail" and I can't do anything.
Can somebody help me please?
