Problems with error - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all, I need help with a problem. I flashed the EOS ICS 1.0.0 on my MZ604 a couple weeks ago and everything went perfect until I got this error: Unfortunately the process Process.android.media has stopped. The first time I seen the error I was copying and pasting some pics from my flash stick to my SD card using astro. I have spent a couple hours searching XDA only to find others that posted the same but only one solution which was to delete Delvik cache using TB and that did not help. Also I went to Astro and deleted cache.
The error pops up once or twice after booting and then just randomly
Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have no clue

I also had this error for the last week. Now my zoom won't boot past the EOS start up animation.
Anyone have any ideas?
I have tried reflashing but its still the same. I remember having a message saying there wasn't much space left on the device not long before my problems started.
Help!

Among others, though I don't know if rooting will necessarily solve this problem.
I don't know what causes it, exactly, but it seems that I've experienced a similar issue rooted/unrooted, stock/custom ROM.
I just unchecked update automatically, if present, exited market, went back in through app brain, and any stuck downloads have managed to unstick.
No real method I.can describe, just kind of pushing/Toggling things/exiting, etc.
Ok just tried it right before I went to att store and its working fine now. Weird. I guess it took my threats seriously now. Muhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Glad you got it working.
I really think it's some kind of market/server bug on their end.
Just a completely uneducated guess on my part.

[HELP] Apps force closing?!

I have had my Captivate for a while but just recently, a lot of my apps have been force closing and I get the error stating that the process has been stopped unexpectedly. I'm on a stock GB 2.3.5 and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the data and cache, but it doesn't help. Can anyone help me on this?

Reflash to stock KK4 (The latest and last stock that is released by Samsung, which I'm using now, and having no issues at all), then if still persist, try to flash a custom ROM like Legend 5 to test if the issue is still there.
Refer to this page to DL One click KK4 stock.

Sorry, I've never flashed anything before so it's all new to me. Which links should I click on if I were to do this?

You can try to flash this: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1541942
The force close issue is usually linked to a full /datadata partition, and this script fixes that.
I've only tried this on CM7/9 though, so proceed with caution.

P6200 [Stock Honeycomb] [rooted] Freezing and locking up

Hello there, my brother has a Tab Plus P6200. He got it 10 days ago.
The first thing he did was root it by going into recovery and installing root.zip from SD card.
It was fine until today when it started freezing and locking up all the time. The only solution is to reset it by holding the power/lock button to force reset it.
As soon as it boots, it freezes. Sometimes he can unlock it and swipe through the homescreens, sometimes it even freezes before he gets to unlock it. Even if he gets to unlock it, it would freeze after a minute or maybe less. He can't do anything on it.
I was gonna recommend a data wipe from srock recovery but thought that it's easier that he try and get it replaced under warranty.
Just wanted to know whether there's anyone else that has experienced this and if there's a quick solution for it.

I sorta had that same problem when I first bought my tab. Honeycomb is really terrible. I kept it only one day then I flashed my tab with cm9 and now I'm running cm10 and all is good. Maybe he should try that

That's a good suggestion however it might void the warranty if I can't flash back to stock or it bricks and I can't reset the counter.
Anyway I showed him CM9 and CM10 on my Note and he didn't like them very much. He prefers the TW ROMs.
Oh and by the way, is stock recovery safe on Honeycomb? Does it have the emmc bug like the ICS kernels? I might give it a shot with wiping data/factory reset. That won't void the warranty though, right?

Change your root file. Your version of firmware is incompatible with the root file you're using.

(Q) hfp 2.4.2 malfunctioning

Hello everybody, so i flashed to hfp 2.4.2 and its happened two times now where it turns itself off then I turn back on to find everything erased, all my apps gone as if I had just re-flashed, another time it got stuck at the screen where it says Hellfire and lists the devs and people before the animated logo and I had to restore from recovery. So has anybody else experienced any type of crash it malfunction or are you finding it stable? Maybe it was me deleting a file I shouldn't have.
Would have posted in proper section but I'm not aloud since I just signed up..

Stuck in Roaming after Flashing ROM

I recently flashed both CM 10 and AOKP but my phone is stuck in roaming, i've already tried taking out the SIM card and all the other recommendations on the forum related to this problem but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how i can remain on a custom ROM and not have to go back to stock to correct this error?
There are too many posts that have this exact problem and there answers.
Use xda search

I've already tried all of the recommendations from other posts, I flashed back and followed the instructions but still was stuck in roaming after flashing. Then I tried flashing without wiping and that didn't work either so new I'm back to stock without root which works fine. I really want to go back to cm or aokp but can't figure out this roaming problem.
