Among others, though I don't know if rooting will necessarily solve this problem.
I don't know what causes it, exactly, but it seems that I've experienced a similar issue rooted/unrooted, stock/custom ROM.
I just unchecked update automatically, if present, exited market, went back in through app brain, and any stuck downloads have managed to unstick.
No real method I.can describe, just kind of pushing/Toggling things/exiting, etc.

Ok just tried it right before I went to att store and its working fine now. Weird. I guess it took my threats seriously now. Muhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Glad you got it working.
I really think it's some kind of market/server bug on their end.
Just a completely uneducated guess on my part.

If you had backed up with Titanium Backup, just restore missing apps and data.
I didn't though. Any way to get the old market?

Which version are you looking for? StrifeSoldierIIV has offered to pull free apks for anyone who needs them and I might still have an older market apk in my dl folder.
Which ever version was the old style tablet market view before it changed to the look of the phone.

someone on another forum had a similar issue... did a factory reset and restarted, then re-activated the google account and everything loaded correctly except a couple free apps... those they were able to reload via the web-market
good luck, and report back - I'm awaiting my xoom (hopefully tomorrow, but likely Mon/Tue) so interested in what works and what doesn't.
Done it already, no luck. Wife has the same apps not downloading.

Can you post an image/dump/nandroid of the system and boot from HLK75C?
I'm running HLK42B from the pilot 4G launch and would like to upgrade to this new version they are sending out now.
How do I do a system dump? I am not rooted, but intend to re-root as soon as I get the right files.

[Q] [Solved] Titanium Backup

Ok, here it goes. I have been using tbu for a few years now on various phones. I am using version 3.9.0.1. This is one of the first problems i have had with it. When I go to install or uninstall any app, I get a force close. I have tried numerous things to get it working again with no success. Anyone have any thoughts?

The only thing i can think of is, i have too many apps backed up. I have 247 user apps that equal 3gb. I don't know, I'm lost on this. I might back them all up on my computer, then start uninstalling them normally. I'll get rid of 50 or so and then use tbu and see if it acts any better.

[Q] Poweramp causing reboot

Quite often Poweramp seems to make my phone reboot. not doing anything specific, but always while doing something (changing songs, entering the menu, etc.). It is the best music app, but this is kind of annoying. Anyone else have the problem? I think it might be my rom or overclock but I'm not really sure. running supercharged atrix v5 update 2 overclocked to the default 1122 MHz. it did it on the unupdated supercharged also. Thanks in advance for any help.
Wow, I dont know bro. I've been running PowerAmp since I've owned the phone (~5months) and I've never had that problem. Hope you get it worked out though.

I guess it doesn't show sigs in the mobile app. now it shows. this is really pissing me off sice I bought the full version. I love the app, but it has not worked right. it hasn't done it in a few days and I have done two things. Finally updated to SCV5 update 2. last time it caused FCs even with the full image, so i sucked it up and flashed back to stock then did it all again (PITA). I also disabled the automatic folder scanning. wonder if those things fixed it?

No, it does. The one you quoted earlier, that's my mobile app sig. I feel your pain man. What I would do if I were you is backup all your apps and via CWM do a factory reset, restore your apps APK'S ONLY FIRST, then go back and restore app data. Hopefully that'll do the trick.
Could i us ti backup to restore? That backs all my apps up every other day anyways. Just wipe then restore apps then restore data. I have pro so its basically 1 click

Depending which version is used, this is very possible. But scv5 doesnt have beats iirc. But even if he flashed it himself, the same would apply. The only version I got to play nicely was the one distributed 3.2.12

It will eventually update itself. Or you could just download the apk and install it yourself.

Try going into remove programs and select "Market". Clear the cache and data and then go to the market. This has been known to trigger the update for some.

Can rom installation fix network problems on stock ics?

First post
Anyways, Ever since I've upgraded to ICS, I've been having serious cell-related network connection problems on my tmobile iemi-unlocked atrix 2, mb865(NOT Wi-Fi connectivity problems.) My signal is constantly going from 5-1 bars (several times a minute) in places where I previously experienced a solid 5 bars with gingerbread and my (also unlocked, on tmobile) iPhone 2g. Also, my carrier logo is disappearing and reappearing many times a minute as well. (Even when I have 5 bars.) Sometimes , I just get a red triangle with a white cross inside of it where the bars should be.
Sometimes, these problems are temporarily fixed when I enter airplane mode for a few seconds, then exit it. But within 15 minutes of exiting, I begin experiencing the same problems. Other times, they aren't fixed through entering/exiting airplane mode , and I have to reboot the device.
My question is, will installing a rom perhaps fix these problems? Since my network was fine on gingerbread, it's obviously not a hardware problem. I'm rooted, of course (but before rooting I experienced these problems as well.)
I obtained the iemi through at&t and not a shady third party unlocking business, if that makes any difference.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Well it can't hurt to try a new rom.... wait it can haha but yes sometime even a factory restore can fix a lot of random issues. My buddy was running stock gingerbread on his phone and it had a messed up usb port. I then put CM7 on it and it worked magically so it is a possibility. I am currently running numa and it fixed my wifi issue where it would randomly turn off. But I think a good old factory restore could maybe fix it,

I believe your unlock will be there still. I could be wrong though. And if you have a sdcard it will be unaffected by the factory restore and new ROMs. But its a good idea to back it up every blue moon. And yes you can get your apps and app data back with titanium backup. Make sure it stores to sdcard and the same with ROMs.

I guess. Does the warranty last for a year?
Also, I backed up to titanium, did a factory reset, and restored from titanium. I still have the same problem. Could I possibly freeze some apps (using Gemini app manager) that involve the sim card? Would that avail to anything?

Yes. At least in my country the warranty is for one year. But, if you bought it the phone with the two year contract i think, the warranty should last two years.
And the other thing, i have no idea man. Sorry. I never experienced that, and i don't know what happen there. But, my advice is that you must go to the warranty and try.
