Can I use the LG VL600 Modem (4G LTE) from Verizon on the Transformer if I install the 3g Plugin?
Thanks.
Edit: Looks like it wont work on my tablet...only Windows or Mac
As the title says I don't want to have to carry around a 3g dongle or mifi router with me all the time and I wont get enough if I sold my Wifi only to buy a 3g version. Would it be possible to retrofit a 3g modem into a non wifi version?
There was some talk about it here.

I have DROID XYBOARD 8.2 MZ609-16 (from Verizon)
My tablet can't connect to the internet via UMTS (Utel carrier, Ukraine)
It finds network, but internet is unavailable. APN is right, my DROID RAZR works great with the same settings.
I have latest Android, so the tablet should work with GSM/UMTS.
Also I tried GSM 2G EDGE (kyivstar carrier) and tablet connects flawlessly
Could smb help me?

Just browse Edge / GSM not 3G/UMTS
I've heard that if you plug in an USB adapter plus a 3g modem you would be able to connect to a 3g network. I own a P3110 wifi tab but i'm using a p3100 rom, which has 3g software (and thus support for calls and messages); when trying to make a call i'm told theres no service, of course... I guess if with an external modem properly connected to the tab i would manage to get 3g access?

I'm wondering if anyone has gotten Wi-Fi Calling to work with this phone? I've enabled it without success using a T-Mobile ASUS Router specifically optimized for Wi-Fi-Calling. ASUS Taiwan is telling me they think T-Mobile/MetroPCS has to enable Wi-Fi calling for this particular phone, even though I've used other unlocked phones with this router and Wi-Fi Calling before that didn't come from T-Mobile.
