Hi all,
I just debranded my tmobile HTC sensation using the guide in the development section... Used recovery 5.0.8 (cant remember exactly) all good... Used sensation stock Rom 1.73 and really pleased with it..
Just got a question that when I first put the recovery on, the boot loader screen heading was **RECOVERY** in pink with white writing (never seen this before in any mods I had done) but then after applying the RUU 1.73 it now reads **LOCKED**.
This heading is right on the top of the bootloader screen just above:
Pyramid Pvt Ship S-Off RL.
I was also reading another thread on the development section about applying a stock recovery... Shall do that?
Please advise...
Cheers

If you run a RUU it takes your phone back to stock... EVERYTHING stock, so you loose root and s-off etc.. you need to run through the guide again as if you just bought the phone and want to S-OFF it
I didnt exactly run the RUU, it wouldnt let me.. had to extract the img.zip from it and update the firmware that way..
I have attached the pic, please advise what should I do.. it the ***locked*** in pink
Guys... Any thoughts???

Hi,
Perhaps running Revolutionary again, will revert your phone back to unlocked.
Check the s-off guide in my sig.
Hello,
I have a very simple question, I've sort of bricked my phone. So I want to go back to the original RUU for the HTC Sensation XE (Netherlands, Europe, T-mobile)
Witch one do I need to choose? Here is the list: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074559
Thanks!
Nicola

LE are for Sensation XE, other ones for normal Sensation.
Check your cid for the right RUU for your device. Unless you've changed it to super-cid?

if i am correct then if you have super-cid then any of those will work?

Flash a ruu with your region and you'll be ok. If you want to restore your backup, after flashing the ruu, flash back a recovery and restore

does it matter what network my phone is on, i am on O2-UK could you suggest which ruu to download? also do i do the same and just flash through Hboot?
thank you for the swift reply!
To go back from ics to gb stock, do you need to change anything to run the .ruu like cid etc? I have only changed it to s-off
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using xda premium
Try it but I'm pretty sure you need Super CID to do it

It's worth to change CID on SuperCID. You don't have to run run the ruu. Just flash a HBOOT You can just flash a HBOOT 1.23 which works on GB and ICS. Then later if You would like, You can change on 1.27 HBOOT which includes newer radio version.

Does running the ruu default the cid to normal or would I have to redo this too?

No, You have to redo the CID
i got htc sensation with cm9 installed and it keeps rebooting itself after turning on.
what to do?
try going back into recovery and wiping all (system, data, but not sdcard lol) and then reinstall the rom
Flash the 1.27 firmware

1.27? Not 3.32? Once I installed that firmware, I never had to install another one...

1.27 firmware = 3.32 firmware
Contains 1.27 hboot and 3.32 base
It's exactly the same thing. I was just referring to the hboot

hi. is there a repository of 6.7.x roms that i could download aside from the 6.7.2 one? as iam having issues with this release and i was hoping i could downgrade to a lower ver of 6.7. i just upgraded from 6.6.7 and i dont want to go back to that cause i will have to downgrade to 3.32 firmware too anyone can help?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using Tapatalk 2
You wont have to downgrade, 3.32 and 3.33 firmwares are the same apart from a new radio and the kernel but the kernel is overwritten when flashing a ROM anyway.
