Yeah I heard a few days ago that it was being extended, but didn't know until when exactly. Good to have a confirmation + date.

So, more WiFI tether is sweet, but I don't like the sound of that. I'm going to say it's a bit of a bluff. How many stories have you heard of people unable to get a replacement be cause they rooted? I've never heard any.

As with other phones, if you're rooted, you still have the manufacturer's warranty through HTC.

uh says who? Rooting/jailbreaking while legal, doesn't mean they have to warranty their product anymore, muchless verizon having to give you service anymore. Read the fine print, it is there, and has been posted in a couple dozen threads now.
Yeah.. was at breakfast with a friend and tried to install the new scottrade app so I could sell a stock that was tanking.. wouldn't install cuz outta space.. tried deleting a couple programs and still wasn't enough room. I coulda used the web browser and logged in but that is always a pain.. I've done it a few times in the past .. just really painstaking yet possible. Anyway I waited till I got to work and sold the stock. Bottom line.. if the app woulda installed like it would have on any other phone I would have lost 2,500 less. I never had this issue with my evo.. or hd2.. or iphone.. or palm pre or HTC diamond. SGS4g is on my sh*tlist today!!

what happened when it tried to download? because if you dont have enough space it wont let you donwload it anyways and you would get a warning from the device anyways that you have low space.....
Since you knew today was going to be pretty volatile, you should have tried to install it before breakfast. Sounds like you cost yourself $2500

To be fair, it says nowhere in the app or signup process that it is US only (for US residents), so he would have no idea about this.

I've had 2 of my invites sign up. However, I still only have the original $5 I received for signing up myself. I even upgraded to gold. Don't get me wrong. I like this app. It will allow me to help out friends, family, or purchase things in general. I also appreciate the free $5.
But it would be nice to receive something that you were promised. I emailed support, but have yet to receive an answer.

I was able to get the program WITH license free. Had to prove to them when my device was activated by AT&T, but that wasn't a problem.

What did you do to get the full license? I see it on play.google, but it says it's a week trial.
STEP 3 on the link above says "The form "Celebrate 100,000 Cerberus users!" is no longer accepting responses.". So if the full license is available I'm not sure how to go about getting it.

Yes, it's really good! I've also got it for a long time by now! I've used it several times now, not when my phone was stolen, but when it was lost in my room! It's only 5mb of ram or something like that! Definitely worth getting it, especially while its free now
