Changed page pool from default 6 MB to 32 MB.
Flashed (HardSPL installed) and performed hard reset.
Tweaking:
* Keiser Tweak - large caches, all "advised" tweaks, ...
* changed theme to Windows Mobile 6.1 (default looks really ugly)
* HTC Home enabled
* reset
My experience:
* no bugs found - very fast and reliable wifi, very good sound quality and loudness during calls, 3G and HSDPA work fine
* very fast but not right after reset (caches must be filled up and then it becomes very responsive)
* camera fast
* HTC Home brightness controls works fine
* no problems with software soft reset
* TCPMP does not work
* screen speed seems to be low but acceptable (!!! the only drawback I have found)
* IE very fast and responsive
In general - I recommend this ROM!
Please note it requires some additional tweaking by the user but seems to be be (almost) bug free compared to other WM 6.1 ROMs.

Cool; where exactly u picked this from... I mean - whose ROM / thread exactly??
Man, you're making it sound really tempting. I plan to do this to the Voda rom myself but I can't bring myself to flash again, after having spent so much time configuring my phone just the way I want it.
Maybe I'll wait for any newer versions of the rom to popup before the official release date and then finally go through with it.

I tried 50mb pp and 32mb pp and this has got to be the slowest ROM i have ever used. Don't know what it is...but for me...it was horrible.
Everything else is like you said but as far as speed. I wouldn't recommend it...and yes I did apply the advised tweaks.

..I am running it on 50MB pp and it feels extremely responsive..even after installing some apps and the cube..This ROM has to be the best of the 3..

Wow!
I must be doing something wrong when I flash. Honestly this ROM is slower for me than the Original shipped AT&T ROM. NO joke because I just compared it to my GF's Dad's phone.
Screen update speed is not the fastest but all other parameters are OK and lack of painful bugs makes it my ROM of choice today.

Ok now were talking. As far as screen rotation and PIE... I would have to say that's its very fast. But if you want to see a truly fast ROM flash to Alex's BETA 2. Way faster than this ROM. Just my two cents though.
FWIW I found the voda rom to be quite sluggish too. Of the three, I actually think the earliest build is the quickest (although I'm running it with the voda radio rom).
Did realise Alex had released a beta 2, might check that out. It's been literally hours since I last flashed
You should try Voda core with HTC OEM and 32MB PP... fast!

It's wrong...!
Default rom PagePool not 6 mb.
Niki,Polaris,kaiser have pp size default =12 mb.
And need edit PP size in Xip.
If u use Changepagepool tools for it.It will show for u default PP = 6 mb.But it's wrong.
With kaiser,niki,polaris we need change PP size in xip.Can't edit it with pagepool tool.
LOL so everyone around here has been using the pagepool changing app and they have only been fooling themselves into thinking they changed the pagepool.. Can you please share which .dll or what not we would need to Hex or binary edit to change the pagepool?

Any ideas what happens when we do use Page Pool Changer on a Kaiser Rom and why some people claim a speed increase using 50MbPP?
Also does the Page Pool Changer actually write to the Rom thereby corrupting it somehow?

Im nnot sure if it corupted the rom, but I tested page polling with diferent sizes with my own performance registry and done spb benchmarks on the same rom and it does change something in the rom as you can notice i finally settled down on 24 mb pp

I take it you use the Page Pool Changer to change the Page Pool value and even though we're now told it doesn't actually change the page pool since it's hidden in the XIP, it changes some value that is beneficial to the Rom.
So Page Pool Changer is not totally worthless then?

Hi all,
Sorry for posting my question here, I'm not allowed to ask this within the dev thread. I was satisfied with the named ROM since I have flashed the two new v2.0 and v2.1 versions. It takes a while and a lot of reboots to improve the performance of those two versions, for example the sliding between the homescreens.
But when I slide to homescreens with widgets like friendstream, calendar or contacts it's very laggy. But not with the ROM version v1.0 RC3.
But in my opinion the biggest problem is when the phone is on standby mode. When I unlock it after nearly 6 - 8 hours, it seems that only one cpu is working with less than 500 MHz. It's too laggy to use and that I haveto reboot it.
But that's not a solution, only a workaround
Are there any ideas to solve it? Maybe there is a problem with the dual core script?!

Hi everyone..
here iam going to ask any advanced user or dev about a bad bug bada 2 has it..
1-when i run some of games as ( sparkle - hero of sparta II - final strike 3D - Indigo Hunt .. ) , i find that media volume is getting low from level 15 to level 4 ..and sure this low volume make the sound game gets so low ..even if i pause the game and increase the media volume again to the max level (15) then return to the game.. i get media volume back to level 4 and sometimes less .
2- About Notification bar ..the most bada users feel this bad bug. unfortunately notification bar gets more laggy not as the beta FW of bada 2.0..!!. and i tried before to handle this bug by many ways and methods but nothing has changed to the best.
So... iam inviting the all here to share me this issues and any replay or post may help .

PS ..the only FW has no any problems as what i've told..it's S8530XPKJ1 Bada 2.0 Beta ...I know this FW has another Bugs except the media Volume and notification bar bugs,,but it's system sound is so perfect.i just said that for knowledge.

Maybe I'll try S8530XPKJ1... if I have more time...

i posted here after many so much efforts by me to discover the reason of these issues and how to solve it..and some special friends tried to help me as Hero355 & mylove90 but no way.... But i have notice the following points :-
* because this FW XPKJ1 is beta ..so..it's so hard to modify depending on any official FW of bada 2 .
* i just wanted to add arabic keyboard but all my try gots failed..because the white keyboard in this FW..but in any official release the keyboard is black as you know.
* also these days iam trying to solve the problem with lock screen hanging with this Fw may i ca fix it..
so,,if anybody has any idea about solving all the issues which i've told about..plz share it for me and the all ..
SImply...this FW is the best if we can fix the little bugs it has.

I'm opening a thread here to explain my problem and maybe can help someone !
I try different Version of ICS rom or JellyBean rom and i always have graphics glitches on the right part of the screen.
This prob is linked to the brightnes :
lowest brightness = no glitches
Full Brightness = Max glitches ( unreadable on the right part of the screen )
this problem doen't exist on Froyo roms.
maybe someone here got this problem and know that is an issue or a workaround.
Cause thoses recent roms looks great...

Thats why some people brick their Tab or Get very unstable device with custom roms.

here are the list of errors in CM 12
1. Camera Getting Crash
2. Messages are Coming .. message application are opening good but when opening any message its get crash !!
3. camera getting crash in two way ... some time it's crashing and says " Unfortunately , Camera has stooped " and some time phone comes in boot mode with blue screen and it says " Recording Date etc,,,,, don't remove battery" and it takes around 10 minute to close this blue screen... you cant stop it bye pressing power button !!
4. CM12 don't have Google Play Service inbuilt ... so i installed 3 latest versions and 1 old version of google play service but all are getting error..... saying " Unfortunately , Google Play Service has stooped " and it will happen with all other google apps .... when ever you open any google app ... it will tell u " Unfortunately ,Google Play Service has stooped "
5. UI is lil bit not good for eye .... you can't operate it easily becoz every thing has same color ... white , white and white ... !!
6. Contact app can't find my backup of contact file to import !
7. After Installing Of Application.. Application Size is Showing Too much high !
for example :-
Sony Walkman - 65 MB
Facebook - 105 MB ( i Never seen Application with this size just after installation)
Sony Album - 122 MB ( i Never seen Application with this size just after installation)
Flipkart - 40 MB ( i Never seen Application with this size just after installation)
Myantra - 72 MB ( i Never seen Myantra with this size just after installation)
Twitter - 84 MB ( i Never seen twiter with this size just after installation)
other apps are also having high size. well these size of applications are of just after installation of this app !! even i did not open these app once !!
8. Setting/App/ - in app list no one know how much internal memory or sd card size is used or how much is empty !
9. Some times Lock Screen Get freez... a wallpaper comes up to down slowly and that time every thing get stop !
