How do we make them recieve updates ? Or is there some equivalent app ?

If u r talking about installation in which u download d apk file from othr source n instal in phone,u can't get updates from market!!
N if yor talking about d installation from market.android.com it ll b updated via market when available.

D apps downloaded from market ll b kinda "linked " ( I dono a suitable word ) to yor gmail account,so it ll get updates when it has one...
If installed from other source,it won't have any contact with yor account so...

Hi,
If you side loaded an APK for a free app that is on the market and you are rooted you may be able to attach it using the Market doctor or attach to market tools in Titanium Backup.
However if its a paid app/they have changed the registered name or one of any number of other variables it wont work.

Actually no one would download FREE app from other source...so I ges he is talking about paid apps...
N hell yeah! Market doc ll work for free apps BUT NOT ALWAYS...! N btw it needs a rooted phone,so one wud lose their warranty..

when i swiched tht on it automatical go off...then i came across these to apps..
i tried theym they wrked perfectly so i thought of sharing tht....
i think it shuld wrk in other phones which are rooted pls tell me test tht fr me..
if any prob then tell me

Um.. full words next time. K Thanks. And there is no, "fix" native tethering works fine if you just delete tethering manager.
the thing is in the beta release of infuse 4g the wirless tether in phone was nt working so
by installing these 2 apps u can make them wrk thts it..

i had to delete a alot of system apps e.g youtube and live wallpapers as well as most of the ringtones and notifications to fit the app in the system and when it finally worked, it just fc's as soon as i open it sorry lads

after using cyanmobile few months i m facing one problem till now...
i hv noticed dat so many softwares are not supported by my mobile
when i try to download any software from playstore it says "this version is not compatible with your handset"
but when i was using other custom rom they were supported by my mobile...now i hv to download apk from net to use that software also market does not notifies me about any update
also i have noticed play store used to show 500 softwares under "top free" page...but now it shows only 20 apps and doesn't load any new...
d unsupported(according to play store) softwares are
opera mini,opera mobile,dolphin browser,go launcher and so on.........so why this limitation?????
i searched on google and found out this is a market bug and there is a fix for dat but unable to get dat apk from google... can anyone have dat apk to fix market bug????

check your lcd density......it should be 120..........otherwise many apps will become incompatible........cyanmobile settings>display settings>lcd density

On first boot got fc after that removed all widgets and rebooted...after this reboot got su notif. That shell has been granted su permission. Is it harmful? BB ROM here.

Well i installed it....for the first time it gave fc error on pressing home key...
Rebooted n started to work..
My impression: superb..transition r smooth n nice....
I m comparing it with tw ux...
Widget aint working n i dont need to....
Its really awesome..scrolling is butter smooth

I dont know what is happening with this one. I installed it, givin me FC. I restarted, again FC. Then selected as default. OMG, FC again n again. Did bad work by myself. Again flash orginal twUx(previous version). Everything all right now.

Suggestion: do have backup of ur Rom or TwUX(previous version) in ur mobile storage. if u hve selected it by default and FC is coming then only GOD can help u.

The SU permission occures when something crashes the system. Can you provide a logcat? It could contain some information.

Buddy m on bb + sensation theme + 4.1b6... I gt fc first time..rebooted n i am able to work flawlessly...with fc or crash.......this has something to do with rom

Here is the LogCat. but When I installed it it automatically select it by default launcher. Then FC comes again & again. So I have to boot again and afterwards logcat is attached
