I think your referring of using something like the boot manager?
Right now i dont think that Application supports The LG Thrill and O3D due to certain restrictions that havent been worked out.

can you tell us that magics numbers?
Would also love to know the magic numbers, could you perhaps share it with us please, would love to run a CM7 alongside stock ROM so I can still show off with my 3D and run my phone normally during the day XD
Would also like to experiment with ROMS without having to backup and restore everytime
you can use a terminal or adb and enter:
busybox df -h
it will show your system size...
if you don't have adb or a terminal you can
try this :
system: 590.6
data: 1007.9
cache: 62.0
the sdcard block is 179:15
Wich app can i use

I tried that but the Boot manager doesnt seem to be able to backup my current Rom, just keeps saying it could not create boot.img. Any ideas?
you can use the boot.img of an nadroid backup
tried on boot manager , with the boot.img from nandroid trick,still didnt work, it wouldnt even restart into the phoneRom one after it said "success"
Abandoning dual booting for now. I will hold off with the CM7 Rom until my HTC oneX is delivered YAY (april release in South Africa)!! And then use the O3D as a play phone and mess around with it.
Okay, which Version do you use, have you bought it, and which Rom are useing?

Hey guys I got a tweak from wolfs Rom working on my x10 that increases the signal greatly. Watch the how to video here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy0r-o1Bh9Q&feature=youtube_gdata_player
I now have over a 10000 kbps connection just like his in the video. Pretty cool.
First step unzip the file in your sd card then open the file via root explorer
Next go into system/etc/init.d and copy the modules script using root explorer.
Next go to your system on the actual phone (not the sd card) then go.to etc then find the folder called init.d. (if you dont have it flash this via recovery) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1236446
Then place modules in the init folder.
Next go back to your sd card where the 4.0.4 thing is and go into system*etc and copy the entire. Install sh recovery folder then go back to the actual phone and go to.system/etc and just paste it there and select yes if it asks u to overwrite something.
Finally find the install recovery thing
you just copied and click it once and press execute.
Then your done.
How to test if it worked. Before u do the tweak download speed test from the market and test your current wifi speed. After tweak test it again. Note it may require a reboot.
Get it here. http://www.datafilehost.com/get.php?file=a18d42a6

you do realize that overwriting install-recovery.sh will overwrite any other init.d scripts the person might have and also any tweaks put in there by the dev (if you are using it on any other rom than wolfbreaks)?
You shouldn't be advising people to do stuff like this without at least warning them about what they're doing.

Are you sure?
Boot manager app has given official support for our device. And I have seen proof of it working - on youtube on a Desire S booting CM7 & MIUI.
Also bootmanager cleverly overrights the kernel with the new boot.IMG each time you flash.

I provided a working solution for ROOTING P725/P720/P720h and SU870 ( GINGERBREAD )
So here I am with a FULLY WORKING ROOTING METHOD FOR LG OPTIMUS CUBE SU870
Download THIS link and extract it.
Run root.bat and select SPECIAL and then select ROOT ( restore my data on the phone dialog box will appear , wait for the dialog box out completely, click enter on your computer - continue to choose to restore my data on phone and to escape permanently dialog, click enter on your computer )
RunMe.bat = select Normal = restore my data (phone will reboot) = enter exit windows RunMe. (( Running step 1,2 and 3 will cause BOOTLOOP. DON'T PANIC ))
Disconnect the cable for about 3-4 minutes, then hold down the power button for about 8 seconds for the phone off completely, wait 1 minute to open the phone ( BOOTLOOP : phone hangs on a black screen ), plug the cable into the computer driver (on the computer will hear sound of connecting)..
Download THIS file about , extract to the root directory, run root.bat
~~~Neither I am a programmer to make these commands nor I have tested it on my phone, it is tested on another SU870 user ~~~
Regardless, I'm clicking Thanks already I really appreciate the effort.
Now all I have to worry about is the 3D camera being slightly out of alignment (one side is slightly lower than the other, which can be realigned with 3dsteroid) & finding a way to calibrate the phone's magnetic sensor.
